Fantastic experience: Melanie recently sold undeveloped real estate for my husband and me that we wanted to pass on to someone else to enjoy, but really didn’t know who to contact, as we don’t live in the area. Melanie called us unexpectedly as our paths had briefly crossed over a year ago. She was an unexpected gift and breath of fresh air. She made the real estate sales process easy. She took beautiful pictures of the property and actively marketed it across many platforms. We were under contract in four days and closed within two weeks! Fantastic experience: Team Shepherd and Franco are the best!! We were well taken care of the entire time. Communication was consistent and they were always 100% honest and open with us. We were moving from downstate, which made in-person tours difficult at times. The videos that Melanie and Frank made for us were went way above and beyond our expectations. To say I was picky and turned down alot of houses is an understatement but she stuck with me and found exactly what I was looking for and more. Used this realtor team to purchase a home in Kalkaska, Mi, We knew that everything needed to be done remotely, and quite frankly, were very concerned about doing that. While visiting our son and his family, we met with Melanie and Frank, so we could get to know each other, and explain exactly what type of home we were looking for. After that one meeting, everything was handled remotely. The experience of working remotely, with Melanie, was amazing. She would immediately notify us of homes that would be coming available, and if we mentioned a home we saw online, she would give us her honest opinion about (the condition, worth vs asking price, neighborhood, etc) just about everything concerning the home. Whatever homes we showed interest in buying Melanie would do a walk through video so we could actually ‘see’ the home. During the walk through Melanie would point out the smallest of details, and comment on them (both good and bad). Because of Melanie’s real concern about our needs, and her exceptional honesty, the entire home buying process was outstanding. We HIGHLY recommend Melanie, and her team, to anyone looking for a realtor to help them purchase property.

Fantastic experience: Realtor Melanie Shepherd meets you in every aspect of the buying of your new home. Melanie took the time to understand what kind of home we were looking for. This ended with us buying a home with all the features that were important to us. Once our home was purchased, she forwarded us all the contact information for skilled trades professionals we would need to care for our new home. I had requested the seller remove furniture prior to closing. On the day of closing Melanie removed the furniture the seller had refused to, in her dress and sandals. We have experienced many good realtors in our lives, I would rate her completely on the top of the list. Fantastic experience: Melanie review: When it came to home-buying, my other half and I were clueless, two stray cats would have had more knowledge than we did. Melanie was so patient with us and never made us feel dumb no matter how elementary our questions were, or how many times she had to answer the same question. She was also a fighter for us, pushing processes along when things were going too slow. She was able to find us a house that dropped in price and scheduled a viewing the same day, and she walked us through each step from putting in the offer to the final signing. We also loved that we could have Zoom chats/meeting with her, that was very helpful since we were located a few hours away. However my favorite thing about Melanie was the fact that she was working to find us our home, not just make a sale. If we were looking at house that she saw issues with she would always point out the issue and explain why that home wouldn’t be a good investment. When we did find a good home, I could trust Melanie’s knowledge and opinion that the house is a good one. Overall Melanie made the whole home-buying experience easy and as stress-free as possible! I would recommend her to anyone, but especially first time buyers!
