Negative experience: Poor customer service and communication with Trisha and Karlie. Phone calls with go unanswered and you will be left with many questions and no answers. Working with a different realty office has been so much better and I've had no unanswered questions. I'd advise looking for someone else too.

Negative experience: Do not work with anyone in this office unless you are ready to be swindled out of money and stuck in a house with a bunch of issues. My husband and I bought a house with a realtor in 2023. I was looking for information on houses and Zillow recommended the realtor from this location. Everything in the beginning seemed to be going well. Appointments for viewings were met on time. Communication was fine until we were close to closing and forget trying to speak to anyone in this office after closing on a sale. You'll be ghosted, hung up on, and be left with many unanswered questions. We closed on the house almost 7 months ago now and we are still owed $200 for liquidated damages and "rent" since the previous owner was still on the property for several hours after they were supposed to be gone. We also found issues within the first month of being in the house that broke our FHA contract. When asking for advice, we were ghosted by the realtor. The realtor also broke trust laws during the purchasing process by using their connections in the county to overturn a case that would have prevented the sale of the house. The realtor also coerced our structural engineer to leave out issues that would have prevented the sale. During our walkthrough process, the initial and the closing walkthrough, I had mentioned chickens. The realtor made a joke about the seller potentially leaving a carton's that were in the garage and me being able to sell eggs in the future, only to find out that livestock, including poultry is not allowed in the country town of Goodland. The original owner of the house wanted to back out of the sale which caused a lot of issues. The realtor also advised against getting a survey because a survey had recently been done. However, we did not know that the back half of our lot was parcelled off. Being first time homeowners, we did not know about the GIS website. We had looked on Google and the state website, and county website to see the parameters of our land only to find out after closing that we actually do not own half of the land we thought. We found out that the other realtor in this office, who owns an LLC, bought the back half of our lot and the city of Goodland was talking about buying it 7 months ago when we were moving in. The realtor never told us at any point until after closing. There was also an FHA issue with a garage window, which my husband and I are still trying to wrap our minds around because the garage structure is not at all connected to the actual house. The window on the garage needed to be fixed before we could go through with the purchase of the house. We were going to have my father-in-law fix the window before closing. Instead of allowing us to have my father-in-law who is a licensed contractor fix the window, the realtor said that it needed to be done by someone who was not family. The realtor recommended their realty partners company. However, I did not know that the realty partner owned in LLC. There was a man who showed up to the property to fix the window. When the previous owner had questioned who the man was fixing the window, he has told him that he was the buyer's father-in-law... SHADY SHADY BUSINESS HERE. We plan on getting the house leveled and fixed up to maybe sell and move out of this area where we are not allowed to homestead. The only appeal of this country town was the possibility to homestead. If and when we decide to sell it will NOT be with anyone at this RE/MAX location or with the RE/MAX company, PERIOD. These women will say ANYTHING to get your money. ANYTHING. Take your business with another realty company.
