Fantastic experience: Erin was incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, honest, and kind when helping me pick out a home for my daughter & I. She answered any and all questions with honesty and quickness. Even if it was not in her realm of things to deal with she was always there! As a single mom, Erin made this process seem less stressful and exciting. If something went wrong she did her best to make it right. Negative experience: Martha Pope refused to take my proof of funds letter when I expressed interest to put an offer in. She told me to "mail it". It took over four hours and still she could not find any "comps" to write an offer. She did not respond to write an offer in a timely manner. It was unprofessional.. It did happen this way. I would not recommend Bishop West Realty from this awful experience.

That being said, Bishop west kept their word, and delivered the absolute best of the best. From the start our agent MaryJane was on top of things. With her expert guidance we were able to navigate exactly which changes were needed to get our asking price and she helped us settle on a fair price. From the moment we listed, she provided constant feedback, at no point did we have to wonder, what if anything needed to be improved for the sale of the home. Her market analysis was in alignment with the value we believed we had in our house and, despite us all hearing others suggest lower prices, Cheryl stuck to her guns and remained confident she could get it. She helped us plan our open house at a very advantageous time, and this turned out to be a big success. By the end of the day we had multiple offers and Cheryl was already negotiating the best deal possible. Ultimately, we sold our house in about 4 days at an amount above our asking price! Negative experience: Sales person was energetic and responsive. However , at closing time broker pulled a fast one and tried to get a higher commission that was on the contract. Money is now stuck in escrow because we refuse to pay higher that contracted commission

When it came to living at our home for 40 years in Pittsfield, MA and moving to Florida, all initial decisions were overwhelming. Peter kept us informed ALL along the way, which made every step easier to deal with. We had Corey guide us with the details of our Pittsfield home. That was a much smoother process than we had thought. Any questions or concerns we had, Corey immediately put those to rest. I have to say that about the whole experience. To go further, Bishop West helped us find all the connections we needed to bring our Pittsfield house to code. Our first connection was with electrician, Nick Labrie, he installed and upgraded our circuit breaker, and ensured our dryer and stove were all to code. At a much better cost than we expected. Nick was a very kind and thoughtful person. Nick took time to understand and research our every need and was exceptional to deal with. Then, Jonathan with Berkshire Removal, came to our house to quote us on several...I mean several, items we needed to clear in our basement. They took out an old oil tank, and sealed all openings and took 40 years worth of junk. A very good quote! The guys worked extremely hard and exceeded our expectations! Without the guidance, without the wisdom, and years of experience, we would have been lost. Bishop West took our worries and smoothed everything out, through every step. Fantastic experience: There are a lot of people in this life who are simply out to make money and watch out for themselves and do whatever helps achieve that goal. Jesse Dimitropolis is simply not one of those people. In fact he is quite the opposite. During my search for a house Jesse took the time to listen to what was most important to me that I was looking for in a house. At no point did I feel like he was pushing me to buy a house I didn’t think was good for me. He respected my opinions, and his knowledge in the realtor world is impressively extensive. Jesse was able to provide not only good house recommendations, but also provide invaluable information on things such as what loans would be the best to try for both local and national. Or to think about things I wasn’t at the time like commute time to work. He additionally was able to help point out things in houses we viewed that I did not see or know about before I wasted time making an offer and hiring a house inspector who would have found it. In all, I cannot recommend Jesse enough. He works hard at his job and has your best interests in mind. You will not regret choosing him as your realtor.
