We had to move across the country last minute due to my medical issues, and we were very nervous about selling in the middle of a pandemic. Selling a house is stressful enough, especially when you're on the other side of the country! Sam and Winnie went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us sell our home. They took care of everything! We got daily updates on everything, and they even took time out of their day to make sure everything was fine on the property when bad weather struck. Even after a roof leak from a freak storm, we were notified by them about it before we even know a storm was coming! They had it addressed within 24 hours and set us up with some of the best contractors in the area. Fantastic experience: I called Sunlight Realty based on the great reviews and now I’m leaving yet another. I had called to get an appraisal on a property co-owned with siblings. I set up an appointment with Winifred but when that day came I was sick with the flu. She was very understanding and I told her I would call again when I felt better to set another appointment, but in the meantime I was in communication with the siblings and they agreed to sell us the house for a low enough price to make the needed repairs, which was a blessing since we were in need of a home due to Irma totaling ours. I had made a note to call Winifred that day but she contacted me first. I explained what transpired and she seemed genuinely happy for us, despite losing a possible commission. Fantastic experience: Sam and his wife are an absolute pleasure to work with! It was our first time buying a home and we were new to everything. He was patient and explained a lot of things to look out for when choosing a home. He even looked at things we didn't even think to look at!! Sam showed us at least 30 different houses before we finally found one we liked, I mean, we worked him like crazy and he was still super nice, super patient, and always smiling. He even went out of his area to show us a home way out in the sticks that we were interested in. Every time we did a homeowners inspection Sam or his wife were always there with us which was extra comforting. Even when we chose our home and something came back on the inspection and we got squirrelly Sam helped talk us through everything and even make a list of pros of cons.
