My experience with Lisa Mathena was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend her services. From the beginning, there were numerous promises made about how my property would be marketed, but those promises were never fulfilled. Shortly after listing my home, Lisa went on vacation for a week, leaving little momentum during what should have been a critical period for a new listing. What was even more frustrating was the apparent lack of a marketing strategy. After several weeks, there had not even been an open house, yet the first recommendation was to reduce the asking price rather than increase marketing efforts. I expected proactive ideas to generate interest, not an immediate suggestion to lower the price. The listing description itself was another disappointment. It failed to highlight many of the property's strongest features and selling points. I ultimately rewrote the listing narrative myself to better showcase the home's advantages. As I continued to ask for accountability and a more aggressive marketing approach, I was told that Lisa could no longer continue listing my property and that no one on her team had the bandwidth to take it over. As a client, hearing that my listing could not be adequately supported was unacceptable. I then hired another Realtor who was energetic, strategic, and engaged. He implemented an effective marketing plan and sold my home in roughly half the time that Lisa had it listed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Lisa Mathena. If you're looking for an agent who is proactive, communicates clearly, and has a well-executed marketing strategy, I would encourage you to explore other options.

Negative experience: We we referred to this realty group to help us with our home buying search. The agent we were assigned was anything but efficient. Most of the time, my calls to see homes went unanswered. She'd call back after the home was under contract. We were never set up with a portal, based on our "wishes" either. I actually called the listing agent of a home we were interested in, to be able to tour it. My agent from Lisa Mathena never even responded. I finally found a GREAT realtor who wanted to help us buy a property. I would definitely NOT recommend The Lisa Mathena Group for real estate needs. There are so many other BETTER choices.
