Fantastic experience: I worked with Parker Breuel on my recent land purchase. He did a fantastic job at every step in the process and always kept us informed on next steps and what to expect. We bought unrestricted land with the intent of building on it, which has a number of pieces to coordinate, from a new survey to a soil sample. Parker put us in a great position to understand the ins and outs of each step, and he even went out to the property to assist with the soil sample testing and making sure the location was marked correctly. I think especially if you're undertaking the prospect of buying undeveloped land, you can't find a more professional, conscientious person to help navigate things than Parker.

Fantastic experience: We bought undeveloped land in east-central Tennessee. Chris Orr worked with us as a buyer’s agent. Overall we were happy with the experience, and Chris was a pleasure to work with. Things We Liked: * Chris allowed us to ride with him in his 4x4 when visiting properties. Doing so saved us many miles on our car’s odometer. It also saved us from potentially getting stuck on some unpaved roads. * Chris knows several of the counties in east Tennessee like the back of his hand, having lived and hunted this part of the state for years. * Chris walked each property with us, traversing steep terrain, pushing through brambles, and braving the elements to make sure that we had all the important facts. * Chris was easy to get along with, always optimistic, and determined to help us find our perfect piece of land. Hiccups: * Nobody—not the county, the listing agent, or the surveyor—could locate the existing survey for the property we ended up buying, so we ended up having to order a new survey. If we could repeat the process, we might have put a stipulation about the survey in our initial offer, but we were under the mistaken impression that the existing survey was /somewhere/. We wish we had received more clarity on the matter early on. Ultimately this was not a huge obstacle, but it’s something for buyers to watch out for. I would recommend Chris to other potential buyers.

Fantastic experience: I found National Land Realty’s online and contacted Matthew Carr and since day one it has been a real positive experience. They know their stuff and created a really nice online video of our property and then we were off and running. Working with Matthew has been a pleasure and they delivered on how long and the price point of our property would take to sell. Fantastic experience: We just cannot say enough positive things about Parker … We engaged with this gentleman in, probably, October 2020 – just getting to know each other. Then, we went under contract with Parker as “our” agent in January 2021. Our list of prerequisites was seriously long and seriously detailed: ALL members of our family cited what was important to them; we consolidated the list into categories; we laminated the categories and added magnetic stickers to the back of each one; and, we, alone, spent months shifting the categories around on our refrigerator door, until we had ‘the’ list – our “Wish List.” And, then, Parker met us anywhere and everywhere we wanted to look at land – Deer Lodge, Wartburg, Crossville/Cookeville, Oneida, Greeneville, Tazewell, Sneedville, Thorn Hill, Bean Station, Blaine, Kyles’ Ford, Rogersville, Eidson, etc. (That’s some serious mileage, too.) We even looked as far into East Tennessee as Mountain City. He’d even coordinate with contacts in VA, when we’d have a whim to look at property in Middlesboro, Jonesville and Jefferson. No matter what, though, Parker was there at every turn, including when we pretty-much changed our target from minimal acreage to bite-the-bullet-and-go-for it acreage. We found our property – a listing Parker sent to us – on 25 March 2022 and closed just roughly 5 weeks later on 04 May 2022. That’s 19 months from introduction to closing! This property not only met every one of our minimal criteria (There were 14 of these …), but it is so much more than we could have ever imagined. And, Parker was there – right beside us – the entire time, including walking these properties with us, as well as helping us find a fence/gate installer and coordinating development of a Forest Management Plan. For us, Parker is more than a realtor: He is a trusted friend. And, again, we just cannot say enough positive things about him!
