Fantastic experience: Worked with Geordie and Allyson to purchase some land outside for recreation. Geordie knew every plot in the area and what the conditions were like, and really helped us narrow down the areas that would meet our needs. When we bought, he was helpful in the process and familiar with all the steps necessary and people to contact in the county and local businesses to ensure our feasibility went off without a hitch. Additionally, Geordie and Allyson were conscientious about Covid-19 and willing to get out and hike properties with us. Would absolutely work with them again.

Positive experience: Mr. Romer helped us buy some timberland, not developable property due to access, etc. He stuck with us for at least a year, several starts and stops, not his fault. He didn't give up, and returned every phone call and email in 2 days or less. A dozen Docusigns later it was done. The only issue was with the title company based in Seattle chosen by the seller, again not Mr. Romer's fault. I would recommend and use him again, and the title company in Leavenworth which is fantastic.

Coming from Seattle, I needed someone who not only knew the local market inside and out, but the underlying forces that drive it, including location, climate, accessibility, and the structure of the property itself. Geordie delivered on all the above. I never found him to be the least bit pushy or "salesy." On the contrary, he consistently provided a candid, unvarnished point-of-view and I never felt like he was just telling me what I wanted to hear. Finally, being extremely busy, I appreciated that Geordie proactively kept an eye on all the various stakeholders during the closing process and ensured nothing fell through the cracks - I closed on time with only one minor issue that, again, would have otherwise been missed but Geordie caught and got straightened out for me. It's a bit of wild market right now, especially in the Leavenworth area, but Geordie's guidance gave me confidence that I was making sound decisions throughout my transaction. I will certainly use Geordie again should I ever need a realtor in the area going forward.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Geordie for help in finding land for recreation/investment in Chelan County. This was my family's first purchase of this kind (and we had only bought one house) but we were in great hands. Geordie intimately understands the land market in Chelan County and as the listing agent for all Weyerhaeuser properties, he is on top of all the intricacies of commercial timber parcels. Our only regret was that Geordie could not represent us as the buyer's agent since we were buying one of his listings. However, we successfully navigated the closing (with a healthy dose of pro bono counseling from Geordie) and we felt like things went as smoothly as they could have possibly gone. Since we live in the Seattle area we initially consulted our long-time local agent to start the process, together we decided that an agent familiar with the Leavenworth area would be a better fit in this case.
