Fantastic experience: Oh my gosh, where do I begin??? Amy is amazing! She helped navigate the sale of my old house and the purchase of my new house. She knows what she’s doing. The team she worked with for financing and closing were equally as amazing and so very helpful. I panicked a few times and they always found a way to talk me off the edge. I can’t thank them enough for everything. There’s no better team to work with to get things done.

Amy gave us a push to get ourselves into gear when needed, but never rushed us, as well as kept us informed throughout the whole process. This process can be dreadful sometimes not knowing if you are 100% sure on something and knowing you will like it long term. She really eased our feelings about certain things and went out of her way to ensure we were absolutely positive on the selections we made. She gave us the best options she had available and took plenty of time to show us everything possible. I would highly recommend using this company and Christina for any questions or concerns you have.

Fantastic experience: The Office is very pleasant and welcoming. The receptionist Sherry Lee is so professional and just a sweetheart, she ensures that you are comfortable during your visit. BOTH Buying and Selling a home are big life events and can be very difficult, so you need someone very professional and not pushy to handle these transitions for you and your family. Donna Brewer and Carla Mathis my realtors showed such professionalism and are very knowledgeable of all aspects involved with Real Estate, Buying and Selling. They both made sure my home was 100% ready before placing it on the market. Going over every detail from beginning to end. Assuring that the property was move in ready for the buyer. I have seen homes listed by other realators that claim to be move in ready but are not. Some of these can be a nightmare going into, and can make your search frustrating. Donna has been such a pleasure to work with and I will continue to work with her in the future. She and Carla made a Great Team. I highly recommend Donna and Action Homes for all your real estate needs.

Negative experience: Worst place ever! Not motivated to sell my father's place, and two days before open house cancelled open house! We worked for weeks getting house ready only for them to cancel at last second! Avoid this place!!

Positive experience: I have heard horrible stories regarding building a home, however, Nathan from Rutherford Home Builders and Christina Milam made our process very enjoyable. We started from a slab of concrete in late Dec, and by mid April, had our dream home! Don't get me wrong, there were some stressful times, however I would do it all over again. The pros: getting a semi- custom home that fit our family perfectly! working so closely with them, I felt the attention to detail. The cons: communicatiom!!! From vendor to vendor, lots had to be redone( but it all got changed perfectly). I felt the lighting could have been a better quality. Towards the end of the process it was hard to get answers for a time line. The closing was two weeks behind, but with a new build, I thought that was reasonable. Christina also helped with the sell of our current home. Sold within 24 hours of being put on market!!!

Negative experience: My husband and I just finished building with Action Homes and I can tell you that I would not recommend them even to my worst enemy on earth. The entire process from start to finish was a complete nightmare. And just when I thought we had closed and the nightmare would be over, it continued as I got to my brand new house, ready to move in and found it completely filthy with new scratch marks on the floor that were not there during final walk through, MULTIPLE spots that I had blue taped not once but twice and were STILL not fixed. There were dead bugs on the floor, dust and dirt, the tubs were disgusting and the windows were gross. During the process, they installed the wrong things on multiple occasions and then we had to hound them to get them to change it or fix it. I should have walked away early on when I came to mark outlets on the frame and found they had built the wrong frame. But BY FAR the absolute WORST part of this process was the realtors and their lack of communication. We would go days and sometimes weeks without answers to questions, some questions were never answered at all. Questions they did answer were vague. For example, the grass. I asked on MULTIPLE occasions what the landscaping would be and after several weeks I got a response that it would be a basic landscaping package. We asked if that included grass, she simply replied yes. I guess I needed to be more specific and ask if I was actually going to have grass the day I closed because instead what I have is mud and dirt everywhere. And of course by this time, it was "too late" for them to get a bid for sodding my yard to roll it into my loan so now we are stuck with a swamp outside due to the dirt and mud, lack of grass and the way our yard slopes, which were all reasons we asked about grass to start with. Our closings were pushed back two times before we actually closed but again, lack of communication, both times, they didn't give us official notification of the delay until days before. And trust me when I tell you, an idiot could have seen it wouldn't have been done, so it was not because they did not know and they just called us as soon as they knew, they just didn't care and didn't bother to keep us informed. I have truly never in my life felt like I mattered so little or my money mattered so little. I felt like nothing more than a peg on a corkboard to them. This is the next 30 years and $500,000 of our lives when this loan is all said and done, it would have been nice to feel at least slightly appreciated or like they cared at all about our concerns and issues. But they didn't. They are heartless, incompetent realtors and an even more heartless and incompetent company. I have now been in my house one week and I already have studs showing, seams showing in the walls, scratches on my floor that they made after my final walk through and cracks and blemishes they never bothered to fix. But of course now it is not their problem anymore and was basically told so when we contacted them. Trust me when I tell you, RUN far away from this company. Do not even consider building with them. It was the absolute worst experience of my life.
