Fantastic experience: We couldn’t recommend Mary Jane at Southern Magnolia Realty more highly. We drove down from out of state to look at homes and, the same day we arrived, called about a listing. The listing agent wasn’t available, but she connected us with Mary Jane, a friend and fellow agent from the office. Mary Jane stepped in at the last minute and absolutely knocked it out of the park. She rearranged her schedule and spent the next day taking us through four or five different properties. She was knowledgeable, professional, easy to work with, and very good at pointing out things we might otherwise have missed. A few of the homes looked great online but turned out to be quite different in person, and she helped us work through all of them without ever pressuring us toward a decision. Then, as we were getting ready to leave town, we happened to drive past what turned out to be the perfect house. Even though Mary Jane had family obligations and had already given us a tremendous amount of her time, she dropped everything again and met us at the property so we could see it before leaving. That house is now the one we’re buying, and Mary Jane has continued as our buyer’s agent throughout the entire process. Because we’re purchasing from out of state, having someone local whom we trust has been extremely important. She personally attended the entire home inspection on our behalf, has stayed on top of every step of the transaction, and has been exceptionally responsive whenever we’ve called, texted, or needed something handled locally. Mary Jane started out as a last-minute pinch hitter for us and ended up hitting a home run. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better buyer’s agent. If you’re buying a home on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we would recommend Mary Jane and Southern Magnolia Realty without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Gretchen was great from the first time I talked to her on the phone. I called her about a house that I was interested in. She was honest and forthcoming about the house having an history of flooding. She told me that if I didn’t want to get a little water in the house that I should look for a different house, lol. Gretchen was very honest about all the houses that I was considering. I bugged her all the time, and she always kept a pleasant disposition and answered all my questions. She was great from the beginning and still is. I still bug her with questions, even though we signed the papers over a month ago, and she still returns all my calls and answers those questions. I am so lucky to have had her as my realtor.

Fantastic experience: Seamless and stress free experience! I moved from out of town and would drive in to see possible new homes and sometimes there were several in one visit. Gretchen Thiebault, my agent, would plan out our visits so I could see anything I wanted to see in the time I had available.
