Negative experience: Had the older campo out to my house to list it. He wanted to list my house too low. He was argumentative and refused to list my house at a reasonable price. I believe he was just trying to get my house for his investors at a low ball price. I didn't list with him and found Jen Chance to list my house and got the price I wanted! Be smart and avoid this guy (the dad) like the plague! If I had listed with him I would have lost 20% of my price!! I had to interview 8 realtors before I found welcome home realty and Jen Chance! Most were trying to lowball my little house on the southside of Springfield and get me ripped off! Remember, realtors are human and most have ulterior motives! Be picky about who you have list your house!

Fantastic experience: Working with Campo Realty is one of the best decisions we’ve ever made! We had been actively searching for the perfect home in a certain location for almost 2 years before we got in contact with Dominic. Worked with several realtors before him, lost 2 houses with 2 different realtors. We felt very pressured and uncomfortable with the lack of information we were given at the time we put in both offers. Once we started working with Dominic, the difference was immediately clear that they’re not all the same. He knows all the ins and outs of the whole home buying/selling process, was always able to answer our questions and in the rare instances he didn’t have an answer at the time, he found out and got right back to us. He was aware of our previous experiences, knew exactly what we wanted, what we could realistically afford and did everything he possibly could to get us what we wanted. He showed us several wonderful places over the past few months and never once made us feel pressured in any way and always understood when we told him these places weren’t “the one” yet. He ended up finding us the home of our dreams for the best possible price. It was a team effort at Campo Realty to find this beautiful house for us and we could not be more thankful. Besides getting us everything we have ever wanted and so much more, the second best part of our experience is the fact that Dominic ended up saving us thousands of dollars on our closing costs! After getting the final numbers from the bank the week of closing, we realized that those numbers were drastically different than the estimate we were provided beforehand (which we are aware is normal) however, the math was not adding up on our documents. We brought this to Dominic’s attention and he immediately noticed that not only did it not add up, but, there was a grant on there that we were told we did not qualify for, which should have brought the amount down. Also, he noticed that our homeowners insurance quote we received was ridiculously high. He got us in contact with his insurance agent, cut our insurance quote in HALF and contacted our lender the very next morning advising them to review our paperwork immediately. Turned out, the lender made a huge mistake, and by the time it was all said and done, we ended up paying less than half of what we were originally told at the beginning of the process since he caught the error! The bank didn’t listen to us until he stepped in. If not for him having our backs, we would have paid $6,000-$7,000 more at closing. We cannot thank him enough for everything he and the whole team have done for us. They are all genuinely great, trustworthy people and I will absolutely continue recommending them to everyone. Couldn’t have possibly had a better experience!

Negative experience: Saw their sign on a house. Tried to go to their web site to see the listing. Clicking on the LISTINGS link, it took me to a page that could not be displayed. Tried it on phone, laptop and desktop. Nada. No way to get to their listings. If you are going to be in this business... Or more importantly, if you are going to take a fee for selling a property, make sure your web site works. Good news I did find it on ZILLOW!

I just sold my house last year I had major back surgery, Nick helped me find and get into an apartment that was in my financial range and has still been a professional and a great friend. He will be honest with you about everything and if you request it, he will help you where he can. His son Dominic is just a very younger version of him.they will do a great job for you
