Negative experience: I purchased a heater at an auction put on by this company the first week of October. After getting it home, the heater did not even turn on. I requested a refund given that I had paid over $80.00 for the unit . I felt the auctioneer should have at least plugged the unit in before selling it. Initially, the company and the seller agreed to a full refund. Over a month later and after many promises that my refund was on the way, I am having to sue in small claims court to get my refund. What a shady business!

Positive experience: On-line bidding easy and convenient. Staff at pick-up very helpful and courteous. One item I purchased was listed as stained glass. In fact, the item was plastic, not glass. This was disappointing. I paid far too much for something that was not a true representation of the auction item.

Negative experience: Edit!!! DO NOT BUY 1376 SOUTH SUMMIT DRIVE!! IT IS A LEMON!!! if you read the description it is totally misleading. "Two fireplaces" BS! The fireplace on the main level was inspected after it passed Inspection yet caught on fire, it was never built right, it's not even attached to the chimney. (I have after fire re inspection report) it needs to be totally torn out and rebuilt or a fireplace insert has to be added. (You'll notice how they don't show you a picture of the left side of the house if you were facing it) chimney distroyed that's why. And for the "second fireplace" located in the basement....it's been completely gutted and it's absolutely useless, in fact it wasn't until after we bought it (this fireplace passed too) that we discovered bats everywhere and guess why? The chimney to that fireplace is simply stuffed with pillows!!! Pillows Now, it had a boiler system circa 1940 (which also passed inspection) but like my earlier review stated it is worthless as well. You'll notice the pictures of a yellow room with a long newer looking radiator...yeah it blew up and blew oil everywhere ruining tons of things. The other photo of the room that looks like it has a cement floor? Yeah it's totally ruined thanks to the boiler blowing and the pipes in the wall leaking from where someone (we assume the people who were selling) tried to fix boiler water lines with tape. Also, the basement floods anytime there is heavy rain (foundation also passed inspection) and contrary to the response by the "qualified" people who listed and sold this lemon, we were not given a choice to hire an independent inspector! We were handed a list by Anna Marie Hopkins and told to call one to see who could inspect it the soonest. Oh, before I forget, the wall where the chimney on the main level is, when it rains the walls will get these bubbles under the paint full of water!!! The gutters (which also passed but we were told needed to be cleaned) are totally worthless as well (and we had them cleaned). Please do yourself a favor and don't go anywhere near this lemon, money pit, the "qualified" realtors see you coming a mile away trap! Save yourself the headache, the heartbreak and the money and steer clear.We bought a house in June the agent was Anna Marie Hopkins it had a boiler heating system and we were told by her and the inspector that it was in good operational order, well it wasn't and when we went to light it for winter the gas company came and locked and tagged it out stating it was inoperable due to extreme code and safety violations. We lost our only source of heat so we turned to the fireplace which again was said to be in good operational order and guess what? It caught on fire, displacing us and our children from our home. The inspector refunded the cost of his inspection, however it is not enough to come close to being able to replace the heating system. If I could give zero or less stars I would!

Negative experience: My mother bought some things from an auction held by this company. I went with my mother to pick her items up and help her move them. The woman who was running the auction was named Suzanne. This woman was completely ugly and rude to half of the people there trying to pick up their purchases, many of whom we're elderly. I actually heard a verbal dispute that was getting heated between her and another set of older clients. Shameful. My mother had already paid for her items or I would have probably told her to leave them and not spend the money. My mother claims she will continue to buy from them because of the good prices she finds on items, but I'd never give them another dime. And I'd recomenre anyone who does buy from them to consider their temperament before picking up items.

Fantastic experience: Hired Wolfe Auction for an Estate Sale. Suzanna walked through the house, listened to my needs, then proceeded to do exactly as I asked. Her team was professional, friendly and efficient. They worked hard to sort, catalog and document more than 400 lots of items to be posted online. They handled all advertising, money exchanges, security and promptly addressed each issue as it came up, I mostly just watched and addressed questions. Our auction was a huge success and surprisingly exciting and I would recommend Wolfe Auction to anyone needing those services.
