Negative experience: Beware of Wilson Family Realty This company took advantage of my grandparents. They were pressured into signing a deal that was completely against their best interests, resulting in a major decline in their quality of life. Wilson Family Realty preyed on their elderly age and ignorance of the process, something no ethical real estate professional should ever do. Their agents are not looking out for your well-being; they are only concerned with making a sale and lining their own pockets. If you’re buying or selling a home, please look elsewhere. There are plenty of reputable and honest realtors who actually care about their clients. Don’t let what happened to my grandparents happen to your family. Negative experience: Very shocked and dismayed at the behavior of Jim Wilson. I was present at an altercation but not directly involved as a client. Tensions were high and it was a stressful situation, but I was appalled when he yelled at his client and cussed at him. He yelled at his client and ran out of the door to his truck. He kept yelling back toward the house and left poor Kirk Wilson to deal with the aftermath. Kirk was very kind and calm, UNLIKE Jim. It is never appropriate to cuss and yell at your client and throw a temper tantrum. Jim should have remained calm and said he would discuss the issue another time rather than verbally abuse his client. Jim is a PROFESSIONAL and should behave as one, even in the midst of a stressful situation. There is a right way to respond and de-escalate situations, Jim evidently needs to hone this skill.

Fantastic experience: We have spent nearly three years looking for a house that would provide more space for our growing family with Kayla Baker. Every time we found a potential home we wanted to look at, Kayla always dropped everything to show us the house right away. It took a long time to find the right house for us, but once we did, Kayla fought hard for us to get the house, and not only that, but to get below asking price, which is insane in this market!! We are so thankful for her and her hard work! She also helped us to sell the house that we currently reside in, helped us with every step of what was needed, put in all the hours of comparing offers and finding the best one suited for us and our situation, and made it easy for us to understand. I had so many fears and worries going into the process as a first-time purchaser but along came Cindy and saved me from potential scams and predatory lenders. She walked us through every step of the way and we are now moving into our dream home on a few months later.

Negative experience: I waited a while to see if I changed my mind post transaction - but I didn't. I've used a number of Realtors over the years and Jim Wilson was the worst I've ever dealt with. I'm not sure who he was representing but it wasn't me as his client. I often felt I was negotiating against him and he was supposedly representing me. The communication was difficult - I was asking for updates often and really didn't get any communication. I ended up calling the buyer directly to find out what was going on! Never got a call to review documents, never got a call about the closing or closing documents, never got a call after the closing to see if there were any issues. I've dealt with good realtors that get the job done and take care of their clients. He's not one of them.

Verbally abused .. Agent argued with me incessantly had to remind them that they worked for me,,, repeatedly NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Very dishonest,talked behind my back ,,represented both buyer and myself,,,, Agents rushed and pushed sale through . Agents are pushy and insensitive, Brokers screamed @ me... arrogant, totally unprofessional. When questioned ...lied too A nightmare,,,at a very delicate time,,,selling your home. .. .

Negative experience: We used Jim when he worked for Sluss reality and would not recommend him, he watched espn in our basement more than he showed our home. Didn"t take care of us like he promised , no communication ,we were very unsatisfied.

After my father passed my mom became ill . Our family decided to bring her to me. The Shelby house was sitting, not on the market but sitting . We were praying . Cindy Friebel heard that my mom’s house needed sold. She contacted our family , brought a couple in and it sold that day . We are so thankful for her and fax machines and technology . We did everything over phone, email ,text fax and even snail mail. Cindy stood by us helped us. She went well beyond the duties of a realtor. Long distance selling is not easy , especially when you can’t make the trip because of illness. She is the best . Wilson family realty are great people , and great realtors.
