Fantastic experience: My sister and I had the task of helping our elderly aunt sell her home in Grass Valley, CA. Since we are both from other states, this made it much more challenging. Paul Weir with RE/MAX came highly recommended to us, so he was the only call we made. Paul was very understanding of our limited time out in California and gladly met with us when we requested. During our first and only in-person meeting, we walked through the home, and Paul had simple suggestions for making the home more appealing to the buyers and had comps ready for a suggested asking price. From that point on, he made all the arrangements for getting the home ready for listing and kept us updated every step of the way with emails, text messages, and pictures. Paul even went the extra mile and planted much-needed fresh plants in a planter along the front walkway of the home. It was a huge improvement to the curb appeal. Fantastic experience: Paul Weir When we decided it was time to sell our Nevada City house of 16 years and move to a Senior Community in Mill Valley, a former neighbor recommended realtor Paul Weir. Being thorough, careful professionals ourselves, we interviewed two other possible candidates and then decided we’d like to work with Paul. We are so glad we did! Paul Weir was an attentive, caring coach during the entire process of preparing, listing and selling our beloved home. He was attentive every step of the way including checking in with us about how we were feeling – knowing that this was an emotional time for us. He recommended having all the home inspections ahead of listing the house and making any necessary improvements before potential buyers stepped in the door. Fantastic experience: Paul Weir at RE/MAX in Grass Valley was an incredible realtor for selling my Dad's house. Paul helped us at every level from the listing to the close. With Covid-19, things were a bit more complicated. Paul was on top of explaining and implementing all the Covid safety requirements. He supplied us with easy to understand and very detailed market research to help us with the listing price. You see, we moved our 94 year old Dad to Santa Cruz and his house was vacant for one year before we finally picked Paul to list it. It was the best decision we could have made. Fantastic experience: Trying to sell our beautiful mountain home from Texas was a headache but boy did we luck out with Paul Weir! He is affable, humorous and honest. We had interviewed two agents, one of whom brags about being "the top lister" for the area but I sensed she lists low. Sure enough, Paul got us $65,000 more than she was willing to list for. In spite of the covid onslaught, we were happy with the quick sale and final number. Wed had agents in the past who planted their signs and retreated to their air conditioned offices. Not Paul. When he couldn't find a landscaper fast enough, he cut weeds and pruned bushes! He found maintenance men and supervised repairs. He visited the house prior to showings, sweeping the deck, placing flowers and chocs and covid cleaning. He always texted a lengthy evaluation of how it went. One of the local agents who'd wanted the listing told me - "You chose the best of the best" - which I thought was nice of him. When Paul got the listing he said "Ill give you quality service - I'm like Nordstrom" He's wrong about that - Definitely Neiman Marcus !

Fantastic experience: I've both bought a home and sold one with Paul and hands down the most detail-oriented, attentive and caring realtor I could have asked for. When looking for a home, he helped us find anything and everything that might fit the bill - but not only that, he would bring all the extras you could want to know about a place - soil reports, water rights, history to help us make the right decision (and we looked at a LOT). When we finally found our place he made sure everything was to the T inspected, correct and accounted for. When it came time to sell our place, the phrase "above and beyond" hardly does it justice for how taken care of we were in the whole process. He helped us with everything we needed. He had top-notch photographers and videographers who made the place look excellent. He made sure the marketing and buyers experience was first class. He helped us write descriptions and provided opportunities in the marketing/listing for us to share what was so unique about our home. A home sold by him means it's been gone over with a fine tooth comb and gets the Nordstrom treatment no matter the price point. We sold our place for above-asking price on the first day, sight unseen during the early days of the COVID lockdowns. Fantastic experience: I strongly recommend Paul. Without his extraordinary expertise and hard work, we would never have succeeded in purchasing our dream home in Grass Valley. Within days of seeing the listing, we were making an offer on the property. Problem was, so was someone else, the first of many seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Paul's outstanding reputation and negotiating skills convinced the other broker to push our offer to the front of the line. I'll never forget arriving at the property a few of days later for the inspections. A fleet of trucks was parked in the driveway, and Paul was directing a swarm of the area's best contractors, roofers, plumbers, well, and septic experts he had quickly assembled to determine the extent of the serious dry rot and plumbing issues. Issues so extreme they had caused the property to fall out of a previous escrow, and were causing me to doubt whether it was wise to proceed. Armed with detailed (and as it turns out, accurate) information about the $$ necessary to perform the repairs, Paul returned to the table to negotiate a significant price reduction and close the deal. Paul was there for us every step of the way. Energetic and enthusiastic, he has a no-pressure, consultative style. He listens carefully, and truly cares about his customers. I felt I could trust him completely when making this huge financial decision. I have since used the many resources and bids he obtained to have the repairs completed. Even though the deal is done and he has nothing more to gain, Paul continues to be incredibly helpful, responsive and a friendly resource for any questions I have. Fantastic experience: Paul is a super Relator and person. He helped in so many ways to get my wife's deceased father's house sold. It was in very rough shape with years of neglect. Paul put us in touch with the right people to do the repairs and maintenance to make the property sellable.
