Chinowth & Cohen Realtors - Owasso

Negative experience: Do NOT use Curtis Kretchmar as your real estate agent! He is unethical and dishonest. Our HOA sued him for slander and harassment.

Fantastic experience: Kristi, you're the rockstar of real estate! Your dedication blew us away—you were always just a call or a visit away whenever we needed a helping hand. You tackled every hiccup like a pro, and honestly, we couldn't have waved goodbye to our home without you. Finding you was like striking gold, and we only wish we had gotten to know you on a personal level sooner. Though miles apart, we've forged a lifelong friendship that won't fade. Thanks for steering the ship through the house sale and making escrow a breeze, even when things got a bit wild at the end. Our gratitude for you is off the charts!

She was always responsive, patient, and never made us feel like we were asking too much. She made the process enjoyable and stress-free, which meant a lot to us. We will definitely use Stacey again in the future and would recommend her to anyone looking for a home.

Fantastic experience: ⭐ Testimonial for Kristi Russell *"When our home closing hit a serious snag with the VA appraisal, we were suddenly facing the possibility of losing the deal and being stuck in a hotel indefinitely. Kristi Russell went above and beyond to make sure that didn’t happen. She worked tirelessly with the VA appraiser, our homeowners association, and the buyer’s agent to navigate what could have been a very costly and stressful outcome. Her persistence, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the process made all the difference. This experience showed us how critical it is to have a truly knowledgeable agent when things don’t go as planned. Kristi’s dedication and expertise turned a potential disaster into a successful closing, and we couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re looking for an exceptional realtor who will fight for you every step of the way, Kristi Russell is the one."*

Fantastic experience: Working with Frances Ibanez has been nothing short of amazing! From day one, she was attentive, available, and made us feel like we were her only clients. Not only did we gain a top-notch Realtor, but we also gained a friend. My wife and I both have demanding jobs, and Frances went above and beyond to wrap her services around our schedules, early mornings, late evenings, and even weekends. Her dedication and flexibility made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Frances is incredibly well-connected, resourceful, and always prepared; she literally has backup plans for her backup plans! If you’re looking for a Realtor who truly cares, communicates, and delivers results, Frances Ibanez with the Chinowth & Cohen Team is the one. We can only wish that everyone could have the exceptional experience we’ve had working with her.

Fantastic experience: Based on my experience in two related processes involving the purchase and sale of a house and after hearing several comments from friends, I can now compare and give my opinion on this matter: this time we chose the best team, Chinowth & Cohen, led by Frances Ibañez, who took care of everything, achieving a perfect process. She is definitely a complete professional who knows what she's doing very well, and I assure you that if you ask her for help, she'll do it as expected. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank her, and if I had to rate my experience with her, it would be 10/10.

Fantastic experience: We got really lucky in finding Gilda Krantz-smith! She is a shining star in your company. Her communication, knowledge and personability is terrific. Buying a house is a stressful time, but she was there every step of the way making it a successful experience. I wish I could use her to sell my house in Texas! She is the best and I highly recommend to any buyer/seller.

Fantastic experience: Kristi recently helped us with buying and selling our home. From start to finish, Kristi was professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making the process as smooth as possible. Kristi’s expertise in the market, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills made all the difference. She took the time to understand our needs, provided valuable guidance, and was always available to answer questions. Whether it was negotiating the best deal or handling unexpected challenges, Kristi went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled efficiently. Beyond her professional skills, Kristi is a pleasure to work with—friendly, patient, and genuinely invested in her clients’ success. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled real estate agent.

Fantastic experience: Kristi was very professional, personal, open, friendly, and she communicated well. She was also very knowledgeable and shared her ideas of what we could do to sell for more money. She was great to work with and would choose her again!

Fantastic experience: Angela did a fantastic job during the entire buying process and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to purchase or sell a home.

Fantastic experience: Brandi Pond is GREAT!

Fantastic experience: Frances kept us informed every step of the way. Calmed us if we got nervous, encouraged us as we made so many important decisions. When there were issues negotiating repairs with the buyers, she was helpful in explaining our options, Everything we could have expected from an agent, and so kind and helpful every time we spoke. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Kristi Russell was amazing to work with! She learned what we wanted in the initial consultation and did a great job with giving us guidance and recommendations. Her approach to listing/selling a house was unique and strategic, helping us sell our house within the first week. Her photographer did a fantastic job with pictures and virtual tour. She truly cared about us, well beyond of simply helping us sell our house at a good price. Highly recommend Kristi if you’re looking for the best to help you sell and/or buy your dream home in the Owasso/Tulsa area!

Fantastic experience: I bought a few homes over the past few years. I never felt compelled to leave praising remarks for the realtors I previously worked with until now. Frances Ibanez was extraordinarily helpful and went out of her way to ensure that I had a good home search and buying experience. At no time did I feel overly stressed or pressured. She was extremely accommodating and was able to provide responses to all my questions, especially during negotiations. She will definitely have my repeat business and I will recommend her to all my friends and family. Excellent professional work, Frances!

Fantastic experience: Kristi was exactly what we needed. We were only in town for a few days and she set us up with the perfect showings and helped us get an offer in ASAP. She then guided us through the entire process. It was super helpful because we were unfamiliar with the process in Oklahoma.

Fantastic experience: Kristi was professional and made me comfortable knowing that I could put all my trust in her. She always communicated and kept me up to date with the sellers and my loan company. She was honest and patient. Thanks to Kristi I was blessed. Thank you so much Kristi Russel You are amazing.

Fantastic experience: I sold my house with Amanda Foyil's help, and it was the easiest and most smoothest process. Amanda is a fantastic agent and I would highly recommend her to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Angela Barnett is a rockstar! if you're looking for an agent I would recommend using Angela

Fantastic experience: Loved working with Kristi Gatton - she was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. We had a really quick timeline to sell and close on our home (about 7 weeks) and she made it happen - could NOT have done it without her! It was a stressful time but knowing she was there to walk us through everything and always available for questions really helped. When we had an issue with the termite guy, we were on a plane for our son's school trip, I called Kristi and she took care of everything. The problem was resolved by the time we got home - what a lifesaver! And I didn't give it a second thought or worry while on the trip b/c I knew I could trust her to take care of it.

Negative experience: Made selling land and home horrible. Amanda didn’t even reach out after the sale of both properties. We took a loss on the land because of Elite titles fees which was ridiculous. None of this was explained. Signed the paperwork to finish the sale because the buyers had been waiting on the title company and for longer than stated. Never again. Felt bullied and asked for the paperwork and list of fees and still have not received them where they stated I was going to be charged that much in the beginning. Very sad.

Fantastic experience: Gilda was awesome!!!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I just bought a home yesterday and the agent Jackie Knox was amazing as well as the rest of the people who were involved in helping us close the deal. Jackie was so resourceful and gave great suggestions along the way.

Fantastic experience: 10/10

Fantastic experience: Gilda, our Realitor sold our property for our family and she did an excellent job! I highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: We appreciated working with Frances Ibanez. As first time home-buyers we knew Frances Ibanez would answer any questions that we had and she definitely made this experience 10x better! We’d recommend her to anyone that’s interested in buying a home!

Fantastic experience: Gilda Krantz-Smith was amazing! We could really tell that she wanted the best for us. There were a couple houses that my husband and I thought would be a great fit but then she dug deeper and found/pointed out things that made us go against said house. And I'm glad we did because she found us the prefect house. You could tell we were not just a sale for her. She really cares. She reached out to multiple sellers and went the extra mile until she found us the prefect home! We are beyond grateful!

Fantastic experience: What a great experience! To have a someone make this process so stress free in such a stressful market was incredible. I highly recommend to anyone starting their home buying or selling experience!

Fantastic experience: It was clean, everyone was super friendly. They were hosting a community event - pictures with Santa Claus! They even had a small choir. Owasso is a great community!

Fantastic experience: Kristi was referred to us by a good friend. In the same week, another good friend recommended a top 10 realtor in the state. We met with both realtors that week, and there were a number of differences between Kristi and the other realtor that made the choice very clear as to who we would work with to sale our home. Kristi came to the home with an unrivaled positive energy. She was excited to work with us, and quickly became part of our selling family. She did her homework on the market specific to our area, and provided accurate data/numbers for our possible sale. She had a strong idea for an offer, but welcomed our input on the final offer number. While in the process, she walked us through all the jargon of selling a home which was very important for us as we were first time home sellers. This was a huge value, and provided a peace of mind. Every step of the way, she provided updates, next steps and quality advice. We truly felt that we gained more than a realtor, but someone we could trust and confide in. I would and have already recommended Kristi to others that are looking to sell their home. She is definitely knowledgeable, supportive, communicates ongoing and is open an honest. Thank you Kristi for all you did for our family!

Fantastic experience: Kari Saunders is your go to realtor. She is amazing! Communication was immediate, she is friendly and will help you achieve your home buying goals.

Fantastic experience: We have worked with Gemma for ten years now buying twice and selling twice! Four completely different transactions and Gemma was always willing to jump in and do anything needed. She is honest, reliable, and will help you sell or find the perfect home. She is very knowledgeable and you will love having such a strong advocate for you when buying or selling. Thank you Gemma for everything! We will continue to use Gemma in the future as she is amazing!!!

Fantastic experience: Communication!! They respond and follow through. Very professional.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic, experienced and enthusiastic agents! The best of the best in Owasso!

Fantastic experience: Very professional and knowledgeable agents at this office!

Negative experience: Has (F) Rating at Better business bureau This realtor cannot be trusted one of the realtor owns a house that my friend is buying from her. The day of getting the keys she put A LEAN on the house. She also trying to sell her own for 7% what a scam I hope you sleep well at night knowing your a con-artist.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was professional, pleasant and welcoming!

Negative experience: Worst experience in a real estate transaction! Kelley Hamlin Ward was our agent and she did not listen to us and we do not believe she protected our interests. In addition, the brokerage as a whole accepted her word over ours, when we would have no reason to lie or exaggerate what occurred. Do not use Chinowth & Cohen and specifically do not use Kelley Hamlin Ward.

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for a realtor in or near the Tulsa area, I would HIGHLY recommend Sheri Carhart with Chinowth and Cohen to be your realtor! Sheri recently helped us purchase our first home and we could not be happier with our experience. If you've ever purchased a home before, you know the first time home buying experience is a nerve-racking one! Sheri helped keep my sanity intact and was there for us every step of the way! I am so thankful to have had her there to help us through the entire process. Even after we purchased our home, she's made sure to keep in contact with us and make sure everything has been going smoothly. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and someone who will work until she finds the perfect home for you! If you need a realtor, do not hesitate to call Sheri! Without her, we'd be homeless! :)
