Negative experience: AWFUL COMPANY & TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION

Negative experience: Had to give one start so I could write a review to save future clients. Absolutely no stars. This has been the worst real estate company to try and work with. We are in the process of looking for a rental in the Tennessee area so we can build our future home. We found a home through this company and immediately reached out to apply. We fell in love with it. My husband was contacted by Bonnie. She gave my husband her personal cell and sent us pictures of the home and all the requirements to apply for the home. She told us we would be able to move into the home at the start of March, told us the current family would be out of the house middle of February, said they would allow our dogs, told us no one else had applied. She was nice and personable at first. Probably gave us more information than we even needed. So we were hopeful. Then… that was the last we heard. My husband had messaged Bonnie a few days later on the weekend because we were given no more information and we really wanted the house as well as needed a home so we could began our process. We wanted the home so bad, maybe we were getting on her nerves?? Not sure. Bonnie got an attitude and basically told my husband he was disrespectful for messaging her on the weekend…..??? Talked to him like a child. We looked at their hours of operation on the website and it read open every day of the week 24/7. When we made her aware of her hours, she basically told us that is only for clients under contract…. Why did you not make that known? Why did you give out your personal phone number? Red flag number 1. They don’t care about you unless they are making money off of you. We then reached out to the ownerof this real estate company, Cat, and explained to her what happened with Bonnie. Her words were “I am so sorry. Thank you for not going to Facebook and writing a review. Call me for anything else” that should have been our second red flag. Thanking us for not writing a review?? So this is common. Sure enough it was. Almost every other review was about their poor communication regarding rentals. every time after my husband tried to contact her about the home, she wouldn’t answer the phone. He would text her and she would say things like “I am so sorry. I have been on the phone all day long” red flag number 3. Because no you aren’t, you just don’t want to answer the phone So we decided to just leave it alone. They messaged us while we were on vacation after about 2 weeks of nothing and let us know everything was sent to the landlord and we would know something that week. We heard absolutely NOTHING by the time they said we would. We were now on a tight timeline and other houses had fallen through because we wanted this one and they made us hopeful it would workout. So today my husband decided to call to see what the hold up was, once again, they didn’t answer. 15 minutes later we received an email that the landlord went with someone else. And thank God!!! Because they are unprofessional, terrible at communication, rude, and unreliable. Hopefully the new tenants won’t need them on the weekend or won’t need them with anything while they live there. We didn’t give up, although we should have a long time ago, given how absolutely awful they are, but it was a great school zone and where we wanted to be. To all the Fayetteville and surrounding areas, you are better off working with another real estate company. I wouldn’t give these people a DIME!!!!!

Fantastic experience: It’s always an enjoyable experience working with The Locals Company. Through my work with Real Tour 360, I’ve had numerous transactions and interactions with their team, and every one of them has been outstanding. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond for their clients.

Negative experience: Rented our property without permission or communication. Took two weeks after being ghosted to get a payment. Very sketchy behavior and lacks crucial communication for management.

Negative experience: I hate it that this company has a problem with being able to contact them and get a response. The company seems to be poorly managed. When you call them out and complain about their poor communication skills, instead of trying to solve the issue they get very defensive and childish and want to start a social media fight. I would be very careful about using this company.
