Fantastic experience: We hired this godsend of a company to be our property manager - though they also specialize in sales, have a U-haul dealership, and fingerprinting services. There is a reason they have most ratings - THAT ARE ALL POSITIVE - in the local area. If I were to gauge the business's 3 most prevalent pillars based on our highly productive experiences, they would be: 1) knowledge/expertise 2) honesty 3) wisdom/experience I’m approaching 2 decades of being in the real estate business and in my time, I’ve interviewed dozens of property managers, worked with a handful, and 9 times out of 10 they are liars, incompetent, unresponsive/untimely, irresponsible, and/or unscrupulous. Having been working with Dana for a while, we have received so much invaluable guidance, patience and understanding, educational and applicable insights through their many proficiencies, and we are so grateful. If you work with them, you will be too.

Fantastic experience: Let me start from the beginning. I called Shawgo realty to sell my house. Well, part way thru, I lost that agent. The owners daughter, Breana, stepped up, an agent too, n took over. I got a buyer. Though it's a long process, it's finally coming to a close very soon. This company went a bit an extra step. Breana n I kept in. Constant contact. She has always been polite n knowledgeable whenever I contacted her. Via phone call, or text or email. Seemed always available! It really made things much easier for me. Then she took my concerns n talk to the owner, (dad), Dana Shawgo and he went outa his way to allow me to use his dumpster. I couldn't fill it fast enough! Lol! This in turned saved me quite a bit of money. Something that just isn't existent these days. These folks also rent uhauls too to help their buyers n sellers! Wow! What a deal, if you need it! I have been very very happy with choosing the RIGHT realty company! I couldn't have wanted more. Shawgo seems to have it all. What incredible folks to deal with! Talk about a blessing! Fantastic experience: We recently moved from TN to Franklin. Before our move 2 people had reccomended Shawgo Realty to us. We were moving ourselves using U-HAUL trucks...turns out Shawgo Realty was our assigned drop-off point.We needed a place to rent on a month-to-month basis as we looked for a house or property. Dana (Shawgo) had an apartment that he would rent month-to-month to us. Just seemed as if everything pointed to our using Shawgo Realty. After Dana and Breana showed us several homes, we found what we wanted. They both were extremely helpful, guiding us through the purchase and subsequent closing while patiently answered many, many questions and concerns. I strongly recommend that you use Shawgo Realty...you won't be disappointed.

Negative experience: Buying a home represented by Dana Shawgo was very difficult. He refused to communicate with our realtor when we were seeking info or an additional addendum. During these times, he had questions he wanted us to answer. This is the third house we have bought since we've been married, and have not expereinced anything like this in any of our house buying processes. After settlement, Dana insisted he would pick up his sign and lockbox "sometime by the end of the week." Clearly this is straight up laziness, as we found out he lives a few streets away. My husband reached out to (edit) him to get his lock box and sign. It is possible that sellers' may have a better experience if he represents them, however I would not buy a home sold by Shawgo again. **In response to owner: Settlement was Wednesday and I believe you were having your boat serviced that day and were not at settlement. Thursday was the day we had a delivery from Friedhaber's.

Fantastic experience: Personally Tonya is my favorite agent she is a go-getter and extremely motivated I tried to work with other agents before I meant her in the area very difficult to get them to return phone calls show up or even show you the property

Fantastic experience: Josh helped my fiance and me out with a somewhat complicated out-of-state move. We had a tight timeline to view houses since we were only going to be in town for a weekend, and Josh went out of his way to make sure we were able to view the homes we'd found online. He also made time for us on a Saturday morning to put in an offer. Throughout the whole process, Josh was quick to communicate about homes, the offer, and repairs, and we'd absolutely recommend him and Shawgo Real Estate to anyone looking to buy in the area!

Not only did he give me pricing advice, he went to the property, took pictures, inside and out, and let me know if something was wrong inside or outside the house. What other realtor offers virtual goggles that allows u to do a virtual tour of the house inside from the comfort of ur apartment. If it's one of their properties, you can do a virtual tour. Then they also have taken a drone to capture the entire outside Ariel view. What other realtor does this? Talk about using today's technology. When we found a house, put offer in. Shawgo Realty made the experience so bearable! Dana did all the work for us. Then came time for the move from our apartment to our newly purchased home. We had nothing but rainy weather. Shawgo Realty allowed us to use one of there covered enclosed trailers for FREE. What realtor does this? They saved all of our belongings from getting soaked & ruined.
