Negative experience: "I recently worked with Andy Berchtold to oversee a purchase a home and was extremely disappointed by his forceful and blatantly disrespectful tactics in pushing me to use a specific lender who repeatedly set expectations for providing loan information that were never met, provided inaccurate loan information, and delayed access to information prohibiting other financial options. Andy, being made aware of the issues met with me, dressed me down for expecting promised information, being disappointed in service quality received, for not be amenable to accepting the only one loan option the lender never actually provided that “could close” in accordance with the REPC and for considering withdrawal from negotiations. Upon discovering significant discrepancies in the interest rate and closing rates which significantly impacted my monthly payments, Andy responded to those concerns by pressuring me to close quickly, assuring me that everything would be correct but instead changed terms of the loan and told me to “Suck it up.” Andy then chastised me for asking the buyer’s agent representing me if she could schedule an inspection. He stated he feels “inspections mean nothing in UT”, “no inspectors in UT are qualified or properly trained”, and my request was not merely unnecessary but demanding as his “realtor’s should not be asked to schedule inspections”, ignoring the intention of the request was due to my schedule flexibility, my realtor wanting to attend and me trying to make it work for their schedule. I notified Andy Berchtold of the ending of our business relationship on the last day to cancel contract as I still had no information, no contact from Andy post dress down and would be closing with he and his lender representing (or not) me and my best interest. My interaction with Andy Berchtold was unprofessional, predatory and unnecessarily disrespectful.

Fantastic experience: If I could give 10 stars, I would. Andy is seriously the BEST! If you want someone who will listen, explain, and fight for what you want then he is your guy. I can’t say enough good things about him. Thank you for helping me not with just my first house, but also for helping me get my dream house. Not only is Andy amazing, but so is the entire office staff. It was always pleasant talking with, and working with Denna and Brittany. Thank you ALL for everything, I appreciate you!

Negative experience: Seemed like a decent realty company but if something breaks don't expect them to fix it. Once our lease was up they agreed to pro-rate our rent because a new tenant was moving in the same day. Once we were gone they told us the new tenant wasnt moving in til the next month and that we would not receive our return. Afterwards the new tenant confirmed they had moved in the day we left and Besst had ripped us off.

She’s professional, kind, genuine, and on top of it! She’s knowledgeable and is very adaptive in situations. A few examples: like when my young kids came with me to a meeting.. she talked to them, showed them the candy bar, and even had a room with toys so we could get down to business with little ones around.. or when I’m on the go & she sends documents I can sign right to my phone.. or when I suffered the loss of my grandma, she handled everything and made the sell smooth and pain free. I will choose her over and over again. You won’t be disappointed when you choose her too!

( The purchase of our home was nothing short of a very long & tortuous nightmare because of the sellers. We fell in love with the home the moment we found it and knew without doubt it had to be ours. I can not say enough what a fighter Hope was for us to get this home. We kept having obstacle after obstacle, but Hope was our strength both emotionally and professionally. I am pretty sure through our insanity that Hope learned a few new things too. But what was totally comforting is that if something came along that had her stumped, Lindee & the Besst team rallied together to find a solution. In the end, we were able to move into our dream home! There were countless times my husband and I just wanted to quit because it was so emotionally draining but then Hope would call or stop by with her wonderful smile & calming positive energy to remind us that it's possible, don't give up.
