Fantastic experience: We stayed at Skyline Summit Lodge and honestly it felt brand new. The rooms, beds, bathrooms—everything was spotless and updated (the oven still had the sticker on it!). We’ve rented cabins in Big Bear before and some were pretty run down, but this one was the complete opposite—clean, modern, and really well cared for. Great experience overall and we’d absolutely come back.

Fantastic experience: We had such a great stay at this Big Bear cabin. It has that perfect mountain charm—warm, cozy, and exactly the kind of retreat we were hoping for. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and the location couldn’t be better: super close to Bear Mountain and the Alpine Zoo, plus tons of restaurants nearby. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we’d definitely book again.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at Skyline Summit lodge. I think this place is brand new. All the rooms and beds, bathrooms. It's gotta be brand new. The oven still had a sticker on it. So clean. The other homes we've rented up here are 40 year old dumps. The deck and spa were awesome for us to socialize w family who wanted to spa and those who didn't. AND we walked to the slopes. NO SKI RESORT PARKING!! Will be staying here every year. Easy parking!

Fantastic experience: Cozy big bear lake cabin retreat It’s got that charm and mountain warmth we were exactly looking for. Quiet neighborhood. Close to bear mountain and Alpine Zoo. Many restaurants and activities close by. Easy to access and well laid out floor plan. Perfect for our small family. My kids felt like they had their own space and really enjoyed themselves. The spa on the outside deck was already warmed up when we got there too!

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing time at Moonridge Manor. The location is perfect, right next to the ski slopes and walking distance to a range of services - including breakfast spots, bars and restaurants. The cabin is fully stocked and offers plenty of space. The hot tub was a great perk. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic experience: My family and I booked a gorgeous cabin through AIRBNB managed by DoorMat Vacation Rentals this past weekend. The cabin was well equipped, clean, and very spacious. Fantastic experience: This Airbnb was absolutely perfect for our daughter’s Sweet 16 celebration! A huge, spacious, and beautiful cabin with everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The setting was amazing, and we were even lucky enough to get snow on our last night! We definitely created lasting memories in this home away from home. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! Glad it was possible.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience with my boyfriend for his birthday. Cabin was nice and clean, kitchen was big and had everything we needed to cook our food (pots and pans, wine glasses etc..) the jacuzzi was big and in a good place, just wished they would have drained the water out because the water looked kinda dirty, other than that the temperature was perfect and the view was beautiful, specifically at night with the stars right above you! We will be coming back for sure.

Fantastic experience: I love the old school Cabin and furniture. Nice and warm. Extra bed is a plus! We walk the kids and dog around the neighborhood it was a nice quiet and feel safe. Very close to everything walkable. Convenient. The host proactive always checking making sure we are good and if needed anything. Me and my family would definitely come back. Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful stay at Chalet Monterey! We appreciated the ease of booking the reservation and being able to enter the property when we arrived. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen amenities for cooking, the extra comforters in the cozy bedrooms, the incredibly comfortable wrap-around sofa in front of the fireplace in the livingroom, and relaxing in the Jacuzzi on the deck under the night sky! It was a wonderful retreat for us and we look forward to coming back to stay again soon!

Fantastic experience: Great place to stay in Big Bear with accessibility to multiple activities and restaurants nearby. Good to stay for 3-4 family(3 members ) with clean house pooltables and other activities. Good backyard for the house for relaxing in the eveing and enjoying the water view with boats and ducks.. Kids enjoyed the place wit backyard and even the jacuzzi was relaxing. PLace was well maintained and everything was giving a homely feeling. Kitchen dining area and the living area was large enough to give a really spacious feeling to the apartment. Event the owner was prompt in replies to any queries. Will highly recomment this place to anyone travelling with multiple families and want to relax.. My kids want to stay in same place the next time we make a trip to Big Bear.

Fantastic experience: We had the best experience this past weekend using DoorMat for our vacation rental experience! We go every January for the past 3 years using other popular 4-letter platforms but DoorMat is the best by far! I will only use them going forward for our Big Bear trips. The cabin was clean and everything in working order. Also, the decor was super cute and I appreciated the thoughtfulness in details to make the cabin user friendly like the coat rack and wet shoe/boot holder at the entrance plus a lot of useful kitchen supplies available. We chose the Canyon Castle property (picture attached) and loved it! Especially all the beautiful views for the snow we got to experience. The team at DoorMat was very responsive and helpful thru out the whole process from booking, to pre-arrival questions, to making sure everything went smoothly during our stay and even at checkout. Thank you for making our experience so comfortable. We will definitely return!

Negative experience: What a joke! The house we rented was dirty, and we were missing towels. We let doormat know via text. Unfortunately they stopped responding.. we got towels 24 hours later thou! REALLY???

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with DoorMat while I had my cabin in Big Bear Lake. Prior to discovering them, I was working with a traditional property management company who was charging me 30% off the top while providing terrible management service. It was really hurting my airbnb ratings. I discovered DoorMat who will fulfill Big Bear Lake’s requirement for an In-person check in while allowing me to self manage the rest. It was a perfect partnership. They’re affordable, reliable and easy to work with. They also provide an option for full management. Since I never worked with them in that capacity, I can’t comment on that. But as far as working with them as a check in agent as required by the city, they were perfect.

Fantastic experience: We used DoorMat for guest check in and housekeeping services for our Big Bear Lake cabin. Very friendly staff in the office and they had an efficient system for guests to check in quickly and be on their way. Housekeeping team was dependable and maintained a clean cabin which generated sparkling clean reviews from our guests. Highly recommend!
