Fantastic experience: Seaglass has managed my property for 5 years. They kept the property rented the entire time, for top dollar, with wonderful vetted tenants. They flawlessly tended to all repairs as they occurred, including replacing appliances, repairing plumbing, several handyman projects and landscaping services. I live out of state and their excellent service made having a rental property completely carefree. The fees they charge are so reasonable especially considering all the services they provide. I cannot recommend Seaglass Property Management enough!!

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. The customer service was poor from start to finish. They do not respond to emails, rarely answer phone calls, and when they do, they are rude and unhelpful. Communication was extremely frustrating, and I felt completely ignored as a customer. I would not recommend this business based on my experience.

Fantastic experience: I was happy to come across Seaglass rentals a year ago when searching for a place. They were always kind and courteous to me whether through email, phone, text or in person. When I was shown my apartment all three ladies came to show and meet me which I thought was great. They were flexible with my needs when moving in and excellent communicators. Negative experience: To Whom It May Concern, I find Sea Glass Rentals to care first and foremost, and likely exclusively, for the rental owners rather than tenants. In my interactions with Sea Glass personnel, I felt a lack of warmth and concern for my experience. In one email interaction, I found the response to be cold and uncaring. When a piece of the property broke due to years of wear and tear that had nothing to do with me or my roommate, the response was likewise cold and uncaring in a corporate kind of way. That sums up my experience with this company--they don't care in a human-to-human way for tenants, but rather see us as disposable and replaceable parts of their profit-making enterprise, just like the landlords they work with. Cold, uncaring, and corporate is how I would describe Sea Glass Rentals & Property Management. I'm sure they will write a corporate-sounding reply this comment. I would advise others to find a housing situation where you feel a good connection with your landlord (the landlord I had also was uncaring and unfriendly...As a landlord, you'd think you'd want to extend a hand of warmth to the tenants you rent to, but human-to-human civility has fallen by the wayside in our unfortunate age). We went through several different management companies over the course of 7-8 years for our home in Bath but never found a great fit. Then we finally discovered Sea Glass and worked with them for about the past six years. They were always very responsive and did a fantastic job placing excellent tenants who cared for the property. (The only reason we left was because we sold the house.) I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: We purchased a property in Brunswick 3 1/2 years ago, anticipating moving in at a later date (which was recently). Hiring the team at Sea Glass was a prayer answered- we were over an hour away, and didn't want the hassle of dealing with being a landlord. Diane and Kim found us the perfect tenant, and were right on the spot with any repair issues and great communication with the tenant. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Rude on the phone, rude in email. As someone who struggles socially, it becomes a huge turn off to need to interact with them. Edit: That response is also unprofessional. In email I'd like to recommend to avoid saying things along the line of "I'm not doing that" and instead say "I will be unable to" or "I'd prefer" instead. My mother did not enjoy the phone call and I did not enjoy how off-putting the email was when I had simply done what I had been told. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Negative experience: No pet friendly apartments for rent.

I have owned a triplex in Brunswick for the last six months, and Kim and Diane have already helped me renovate two of the three apartments and find wonderful tenants. Kim and Diane take real pride in the apartments they manage, and it shows. They have a wide network of contractors and service people to call in when there's a problem, and they find creative solutions to all the little challenges that come up when managing an older building. Kim and Diane are also wonderful with tenants. I have been in their office when clients have come in to pay the rent, and the warmth and mutual respect was palpable. I have been especially impressed by the work they've done to support tenants in my building who have to move out due to renovations. Kim and Diane have gone well beyond the scope of their job descriptions to support tenants in finding new homes. I live thousands of miles away from my triplex, and I absolutely couldn't do it without the help of Sea Glass.

Fantastic experience: I have rented from Seaglass Rentals for almost two years now and have had a wonderful experience with this very friendly and professional team!! Whenever I had an issue ( running toilet... one time) the problem was corrected promptly and with respect for my busy schedule. The property I rent is well maintained in the summer and winter months, plow truck guy is super efficient and after the storm we had in October there were a ton of trees down around the yard, one phone call to Diane and Kim and they were gone by the end of the week! Keep up the great work ladies!!

Fantastic experience: Sea Glass has been a lifesaver! They manage two Bath properties for us as we live out of state, and we never worry about a thing. They check on the properties regularly, make sure tenants are adhering to their leases and work hard to find new, good tenants for us when needed. Kim and Diane are real pros. You'll not find a better property management company than Sea Glass! I am the owner of four units managed by this wonderful company. They are real professionals who care about the property owners as well as the tenants. When tenants do things like sneak in an extra dog and cat into an apartment, thereby breaking the lease, they are quick to take care of it. When tenants break the lease by not keeping their pets on leash and allow them to poop all over the yard and then not clean up after their pets, they take care of it. When tenants paint a backsplash of a brand new kitchen a horrible red color, they will ask the tenant to fix it when moving out. If the tenant does a crappy job re-painting something that they never had permission to paint, they will be charged the cost I have to pay to fix it. If tenants are having issues with construction noise or perhaps if they are not satisfied with the lawn care, they simply need to pick up the phone and call Sea Glass, and the problem will be immediately addressed. When owners like myself put a lot of time and money into renovating a property, we're looking for quality tenants who will simply follow the lease agreement. If tenants cannot abide by the lease, very simply, I will instruct Sea Glass not to renew the lease and find tenants who will. Sea Glass would never go into an apartment without 24 hours notice as this is illegal. I am very happy with Sea Glass and would recommend them to everyone.
