Fantastic experience: I am a licensed broker in Louisiana, but I was having some trouble finding a survey related to a land purchase that I was making (unrepresented) in Mississippi. I noticed that Ed Vines previously listed and sold the property, so I took a long shot and reached out to him. He responded promptly and then went out of his way to search his files and found the survey for me. Ed and his team seem like wonderful people to do business with.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of working with Ed Vines to sell my house. I have bought and sold over 5 properties while I lived in this beautiful state so this wasn’t my first rodeo! While I have had some good agents, I can confidently say that Ed was the best real estate agent I have ever worked with. Truth be told, selling this last property was my most challenging one because I was attempting to sell my house while having relocated to another state 12 hours away for work. Not the most ideal situation as you can imagine. From start to finish, Ed was professional, knowledgeable, and always had my best interests in mind. Right from the beginning, he impressed me with his attention to detail and market expertise. He provided me with a thorough analysis of the local real estate market, helped me set a competitive price for my home, and provided me with excellent advice on how to prepare my home for showings. Throughout the entire process, Ed kept me informed and up-to-date on every detail, and was always available to answer my questions, day or night and even while on vacation in Hawaii (sorry Ed!). He was also incredibly responsive to my needs and went above and beyond to ensure that my home was marketed effectively and received maximum exposure to potential buyers. Another example of Ed going above and beyond is when I ran into an unexpected problem with the utilities for the house. I called and called but since I was out of state I was unable to get through to the utility office by phone. After many failed attempts I called Ed in a panic and was trying to figure out options to resolve the issue. Ed, as he always does, calmly reassured me that he would handle it. This man (Ed) physically drove down to the office and personally met with the appropriate people to help me address the issue…and guess what… IT GOT DONE. Talk about exceeding expectations on every level! I am extremely appreciative of all his guidance and support because we got the sale finalized and sold! I couldn't be happier with the service Vines Realty provided, and I would highly recommend Ed Vines to anyone looking for a top-notch real estate agent. Cheers!

Negative experience: Saw a gorgeous home on the web site. Drove 400 miles round trip to see it. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP. It was a house they flipped. For sale by Edgar Vines. There was a slight breeze, and the corner of the "new" metal roof was "flapping" in the breeze. My wife said it reminded her of the tin roof on her chicken coop. Left stained bathtubs in the home. Cheap new cabinets. Only 1 of 3 living room windows had a screen. Not much else to say. Buyer beware. This was 32 Shannon Ln, Columbia, MS.
