Fantastic experience: Stayed in the Judge Roy Bean cottage for 2 days/nights and was very welcomed. Pleasant trip, loved the Roosters/chickens, the country vibe. Hosts were exceptional.

Fantastic experience: Nice little studio cabin, great privacy since it is located behind the main house (beautiful Victorian), and only 2 blocks from the historic downtown square. Large fenced lot perfect for exercising our dog. Host was very nice and informative.

Fantastic experience: They are fantastic! They stayed up until midnight to greet us arriving after our wedding! The room was so nice and cozy! 10/10 would recommend. We had to leave early unexpectedly and they called to check on us and see if we needed anything. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: My stay was quiet and peaceful and the location is very convenient for nearby stores /restaurants. Nicole is very kind to give me an early (6:30am) free ride to my sister's place for a surprise birthday visit. I would highly recommend Four Winds Victorian Venue & Suites.

Fantastic experience: Great place, friendly owner. We are staying in one of the dog friendly cottages. Very beautiful property. It's a hidden oasis in the middle of town. They got a few chickens around to keep you company when you are walking outside. Pretty Sunflower garden.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I had a lovely stay at the Four Winds. Nicole was such a nice and attentive host. She shared her recommendations of nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Our suite was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a clawfoot tub. The house was very charming as well. It is conveniently located and we could walk to the main plaza.

Fantastic experience: A friend recommended the Four Winds Cottage bnb for a last minute trip, and luckily it was available for the night we needed. This was our first experience staying anywhere outside of a hotel type room. We were anxious about it, but now we are so thankful to have made that choice. The owners called to check on us to note when we would be arriving. They were there ready to answer all of our questions, walked us to the cottage and suggested local places to visit. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and offered to help with any needs. I would highly recommend you stay here!

Fantastic experience: I loved staying here with my bridal party! Their bridal suite is super cute and perfect for getting ready. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and allowed us a late checkout so I could finish getting ready. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway or getting married and staying there with your bridesmaids!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I were in town for a baseball tournament so we got in late. We were happy to see a friendly face opening the door! Jade was so kind and helpful. I fell in love with the house! It’s beautiful and romantic. If we ever go any where near Bonham we will be staying here again.

Fantastic experience: I visited this location for the first time this past weekend (5-10-26) and really enjoyed my stay. The home is beautiful and lives up to the Victorian style era. It is beautifully decorated, and the grounds outside are gorgeous, too! The owners were VERY accommodating and so very nice. They treated me like family instead of just a guest. My overnight stay was nice, very quiet despite not being far from the downtown area. If you need to get away and want to experience a B&B outside of the usual hotel visit, I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Wow! What a lovely B&B 4 Winds in Bonham , Texas is. The owners Jade and Nicole made the stay especially memorable. It was my birthday and they shared every bit of their beautiful property and home and had great conversation. They are truly special people with huge hearts! . Also, let’s not forget Bear, Baby and Cash. . The home is a beautiful Victorian and does not disappoint. Large bathrooms with all the amenities. Comfortable beds and wonderful common spaces. With the nostalgia of a time past and a bit of a haunted flare for those wanting some extra special spirit interaction, this beautiful B&B is a must visit. Thank you Jade and Nicole. Fantastic experience: I am so happy we decided to stay in this gorgeous Victorian home. I was actually was thinking of getting a hotel room for the night to save a couple bucks, but I though it would be a nice experience for my family to do something different and man im glad I did that!!!. This is a beautiful Victorian home built in the 1800s and its in amazing condition and full of rich history, highly encourage to look through the picture album they have by the front entrance to look more into the homes past. Anyhow check in was super easy, as soon as we got there the owners met us outside but then he walked us through, showed us the proper process to go in and out with our code. He then showed us our rooms and made sure we were settled in properly. Now to the rooms, Honestly the pictures dont do them justice, they look even better than the pictures. Being there truly felt like home, super clean, everything was very comfortable, wish I could say more but highly recommend the stay here.

Negative experience: DO NOT STAY HERE!! It’s filthy!! I booked a stay at Four Winds on March 1 and was emailed that the room in the main house I booked had a plumbing issue and the plumber would need access to the room the next day. I was offered an “upgrade” to the cottage for my one week stay. Upon arrival through an empty field to park and walk across a broken metal fence in the dark, we realized the cottage was a metal shed with a window AC unit and corner shower. This would have been okay if the hand towel in the bathroom wasn’t badly soiled, along with the area rug in the room. We also noticed cobwebs everywhere. I don’t think the sheets had been cleaned either. We stayed for one night as it was late, but didn’t sleep due to the flashing outdoor string lights outside the cottage, which had sheer cheap curtains that didn’t block out any light. We checked out the next morning and I asked for a refund for the remaining 6 nights, but the owners ghosted me and charged me for the entire stay. I would never recommend staying here. Soiled towels?! Unbelievable. Not even a partial refund or response.

Fantastic experience: We were celebrating our wedding anniversary & stayed at the Four Winds Victorian. The owners were accomadating as we had to reschedule. What a great place for rest, relaxation & just an overall peaceful time. The owners are very nice & knowledgeable about Bonham & the area. The recommended places to eat that were good yet inexpensive with most being within walking distance. We really enjoyed our visit. The bed comfortable, pillows fluffy & the bathroom (tub & separate shower) & room was clean & quiet. There was even coffee & tea to be made with the coffee pot. We sat out on the front deck & talked, watched the cars & sunset. The owners even gave us some eggs on our way out. I highly recommend staying at the Four Winds Victorian when in Bonham, TX.

Fantastic experience: Our family had an amazing weekend getaway at Four Winds in Bonham Texas. This historic Victorian inn is such a unique place to stay: quiet, relaxing, and close to downtown and Lake Bonham. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a pet-friendly stay. It honestly felt better than a hotel. We’ll definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful North Texas getaway!

Positive experience: At 2:30 this morning I wrote a review because there was so much noise outside my room that I could not sleep. I'm on a work trip and needed to rest before a long day of travel. I gave a four star on service, location, and rooms, but neglected to give more than a one star on the overall review- not intentionally.. When I checked out this morning someone from the main house followed me to my car and told me I was rude for giving them a one star review and that I was hurting their business and needed to change it. Really? Mind you, this was 8 AM and the review had just been written in the middle of the night. I assured her that was not my intent and that it was an error and would change it. She then informed me that we were in the country like I didn't know and to expect animals making noise.. Now, I live at a lake where we have all kinds of raccoons, possums, armadillos, foxes and various birds, but I've never had this kind of noise at my home. I know what living in the country looks like. So, while the first review looked much different than this one, this review is about whoever that person was who came to my car this morning. I would venture to say she is the one that would be hurting the business. I have never in my life left a less that 5 star review where a manager didn't reach out to me and try to make things right but instead this person accused me of being rude like I did something wrong. Shame on you. So, while the property is accommodating and the historic home seems to be very nice, the management, this person at least, is questionable. I will say, however, that the young man that greeted me upon arrival was very kind and helpful and made sure I knew exactly where to park. So, thank you for that kindness. I kept my word and left a 4 star but sure didn't want to. Lucky for you most people won't read this entire review. Word to the wise, don't stay in the cottage if you want a quiet night

Fantastic experience: This is a stunning venue. If driving through, stop and stay. Or if already here, book a getaway! It's an incredible Victorian B&B. Whether renting for an event, or renting rooms overnight - you will be so happy you did! The rooms are spacious and furnished beautifully. Jade and Nicole are very accommodating, great conversationalists, and gracious hosts. There are mini-goats, rabbits and chickens to entertain. Seriously-so cute! And fresh eggs for breakfast! You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the Four Winds for anyone needing accommodations in Bonham/Fannin County. It’s quite an upgrade over the area hotel chains. The home is conveniently located within walking distance to the downtown square, the park and local eateries. My room was lovely, very clean, with touches of comfort throughout the space and the en-suite bathroom is large with a beautiful soaking tub. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe throughout my visit. With older family in the area I’ll be traveling here more frequently and this will definitely be my first choice in the future.

Fantastic experience: Nicole and Jade, owners of this lovely property for 3 years, are wonderful hosts. They are renovating the property as time permits, but it is lovely already. They have transformed its substantial lot into a mini farm, replete with several kinds of chickens, mini- goats, Angora rabbits and 3 dogs. Farm fresh eggs are served for breakfast on request. Guests are sometimes invited to join the hosts on the porch for drinks. You are immediately welcomed as family, if that’s appealing, but your privacy is respected as well. I will be back, when in the area!

Fantastic experience: Really beautiful place that beats staying at a commercial hotel. Wish the owners talked a bit more about the place but no complaints. My room had a balcony which I thought was a nice touch. No food so keep that in mind but they make that evident on their webpage.

Positive experience: The owners were kind and friendly. The only down side was there was no breakfast and that was one of the reasons I booked it and there wasn't any lighting outside the cottage where our vehicle was parked. This is in no way a complaint. Hopefully in the future business is so good that these things will be offered. We would definitely stay again.

Positive experience: This place was really nice. I enjoyed the stay. The perfect location for going fishing at the new Bois d'Arc lake. It is only 15 minutes from the boat ramp on Hwy 897. Quiet and peaceful. I stayed in one of the cottages. I do recommend to try them out.

Fantastic experience: Love 4 Winds Victorian and will definitely be back. From pull up to final drive off, our 5 night girl's trip was great - with many thanks to the hospitality, comfort and awesome surroundings of this home. Nicole and Jade are so nice and take great pride in the care of this home and beautiful gardens. It was such a pleasure to meet them and have the opportunity to stay in this awesome place. We stayed in one of the cottages out back this time - it was well appointed, comfortable, and peaceful. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the co-hosts - Sheryl and Karen - who made us feel right at home. Thank you for your friendship and generosity in sharing meals with us, you made our trip really great. If you socialize, I recommend spending time on the large porch at the firepit or under the fans in the lounger, spend some time with the jigsaw puzzles at the table, or get together for a nice walk on the property. For those who want more alone time, there is plenty of quiet space both inside and out, and each cottage has it's own private porch and chairs too. My daughter and I pulled away after our 5 night stay feeling like we'd known these folks forever and are really looking forward to returning - next time we're booking one of those gorgeous rooms in-house. Thank you all for making this trip a really great one!

The price was on point and the historic home was such a beautiful place to live in during my stay in Bonham. The owners were kind and easy to work with and the amenities were amazing! It was literally my home away from home. I will want to visit this little town every year just to stay in my favorite victorian Bonham house. This is also an amazing location for a wedding, family reunion or even a Christmas getaway. I highly recommend that anyone staying in Bonham gives the Four Winds a try.

Fantastic experience: This location is absolutely amazing. Jade and Nicole are super friendly and do everything they can to help you. I showed up and checked in before spending time with my son and they were super friendly and good conversation. The guest door is set up on the side of the house on the patio and parking is on the front side of the house on the concrete or along the grass. Facing the house not facing the barn. You have easy access from the road and can easily see this location from the road. The rooms are amazing and maintain historical accuracy for the houses of this age for the most part. It's a great place to go relax and feel at home. Jade and Nicole will do everything they can to help you and be super friendly. They have goats and chickens on site and will let you go explore. There are plenty of places to sit and relax outside of your room. They keep everything clean and very well maintained and stocked. The location is very close to restaurants and places to have a drink if you would like to relax. It's like a home away from home and it is very comfortable and cozy.

The owners were so accommodating to every need that we had. The breakfast was truly a country style breakfast with the freshest eggs. The only issue that I had was that we only got to stay one night.

They welcomed us in & treated us more like family than guests. This beautiful home is so warm & inviting. Fantastic experience: I’m a local who has been dying to visit this place- I finally got my chance when I saw that they were hosting a murder mystery overnight party. My friend and I went together and our expectations were exceed. Kevin and Cassondra were kind and attentive hosts; not to mention fabulous cooks. The wine, cocktails, snacks, and meals were fantastic. I even went out of my comfort zone and ate a few things I normally would turn away and was pleasantly surprised. The murder mystery host, Tammy, was amazing as well. Every attendee raved about the fun we had! We ended our night telling stories by the fire, and woke up the next morning to an amazing all you can eat brunch. The rooms were very tidy and as a lover of old history and Victorian houses- I was in heaven. I would definitely recommend visiting this lovely place and I will be back!

Fantastic experience: My dog and I spent one night at this beautiful place after the hosts graciously accommodated my last minute booking request. The drive to Bonham, Texas is very short from the Dallas area yet it feels a million miles away. The area countryside and the town are beautiful. The Victorian mansion has been lovingly and beautifully restored and has a fascinating history. I stayed in one of the two cabanas located behind the property and it was very clean and comfortable. Cassondra and Kevin are easily among the friendliest and kindest people I’ve ever had the privilege to meet. Their awesome dog Hank is a lot of fun too. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Book Here! You won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: We stopped in at Four Winds as we were wrapping up a week-long anniversary trip, and could not have asked for a better final night!! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, but we were also treated as friends. Kevin and Cassondra were the most amazing hosts!! Friendly conversation in a relaxed atmosphere made us feel right at home! We relaxed in the library and took in the history of Fannin County. We were given a sneak peek at the Bridal Suite, and with beautifully maintained grounds (and four daughters between the two of us!) this place would make for a gorgeous wedding!! And the FOOD!! Absolutely incredible!! Like nothing we’ve ever experienced before!! After further unwinding by the fire pit on a beautiful June evening, we had a great night’s sleep in our very comfortable room, that was decorated with lovely antiques that took us back in time! If you’re ever looking for the most delicious food you’ll ever eat, a place to have the wedding of your dreams, or just a place to forget about the world for a while, Four Winds is a MUST!! Fantastic experience: My best friend had her tasting party to kick off her Cajun Catering business 3 Tee'z at this location on Saturday May 20th and this place was an amazing place to for the kick off. The owners Cassandra and Kevin are absolutely amazing . So accommodating and just down to earth. The venue is absolutely beautiful, well kept, and spacious inside and out. We started outside and when the weather took a turn we were welcomed and the kick off party continued. We will definitely be visiting this venue again and again. As a matter of fact I plan on using this venue for my wedding early 2022. Thank you so much again for making our experience amazing especially for Teihera!

Fantastic experience: We cannot say enough about this gem! Wow. From the incredible cuisine down to all the whistles and bells...truly a Victorian vintage masterpiece. Kevin and Cassondra are a power couple who bring true meaning true southern hospitality. From the hallways of tunes of Patsy Cline to exquisite fine China and tea cups. The sweet cottages outback were a thrill for my hubby and I and my parents to bring all our pups. The fire pit was excellent and the fine wine and beer etc make for a truly fun beer garden experience. Lots of beautiful trees, land and places to lounge. I cannot say enough about this piece of paradise in Bonham, TX!!! Tell all your friends and Fam! Also check out their murder mystery dinners among other events. Never a dull moment at this place.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love this place! The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The newly built covered bridge was a great addition to access the “Hidden Garden”. This venue would be perfect for a wedding, bridal shower, anniversary celebration, graduation party or family reunion! This is a great place! We would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic experience: We decided to try the NYE Roaring 20s Murder Mystery, it was a blast! We have never done anything like this but we look forward to doing it again!! Fantastic experience: Great Accommodation in Bonham! My husband and I were visiting Bonham in December 2020 and stayed in the Trammell Cottage. It was perfect for our needs and super cozy! During that time was a winter storm and we stayed plenty warm. The kitchenette was well equipped with a Keurig and minifridge and the hosts were very welcoming. The hosts also had a sip-n-sell event in the main house which was super fun and we were able to pick up some Christmas gifts. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Bonham!

Fantastic experience: We attended the murder mystery dinner last night. Due to the pandemic we have gone hardly at all so this was very exciting. We were given our characters earlier in the week and my husband and I had so much getting our”frocks” perfect for the evening. The setting and atmosphere of Four Winds was just perfect for the plot. Cassandra, Kevin amd Tammy did an outstanding job in all aspects of the evening. Honestly it was nice to not talk about politics or COVID! The food and beverages were grand. A five star rating needs to be higher. I highly recommend this venue and look forward to more occasions there.

Fantastic experience: We stayed for the Murder Mystery overnight dinner. We had the best time. We were assigned characters with back stories and had to talk to the other participants to try and solve the murder. They served a super tender filet with mashed potatoes, covered in a siracha seafood sauce. It was delicious! The owners were so accommodating to each of their guests. They made our stay most enjoyable. We would definitely do it again.
