From start to finish, he handled every detail professionally and kept me informed at least twice a week throughout the entire process. What impressed me most was that the property sold in a short period of time and for over the asking price. His market expertise, effective marketing strategy, and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and stress-free, even from a distance. Jacob also recommended an excellent law firm to handle the closing, which made the transaction even more seamless and efficient. Fantastic experience: I have worked with many realtors in the past and none compare to the dedication and assistance offered by Jacob Barnes. Jacob gladly showed us numerous properties with a focus on our actual needs with care to make us aware of properties that work for us, as opposed to forwarding dozens of Zillow ads like most realtors, which I can do on my own. Jacob also provided his experience with comparisons that assisted our decisions, and showed up at potential properties to assist with the tours whenever I asked. He was VERY helpful and highly recommended!

He met with us, advised us on various cities & neighborhoods, corresponded with us when we were back at our out-of-state home, and kept us posted on listings that fit the criteria we were looking for. Although we ultimately decided not to purchase a second home, we were very impressed with the service and attention we received. Fantastic experience: Definitely one of my best experiences with a Realtor. We moved to Vermont and wanted to start looking for houses on short notice on a weekend as we knew the market has been very hot, called a couple of recommended realtors from acquaintances and they were not able to accommodate us on weekends. Luckily, I found Jacob on Google, he was able and ready to help us out on our schedule despite the short notice and being a weekend and he was awesome from the beginning until the end. Always available to us, with a great attitude and despite a couple of failed offers, he never lost that positive attitude and smile on his face. It is really tough and discouraging at times trying to buy a house on a sellers market like the one Vermont is having now, but having the right realtor makes all the difference in the world and Jacob's experience, attitude, energy, thoroughness and contacts make it an enjoyable time despite the inherent difficulties. So do yourself a favor and consider him so you experience this great feeling after finally finding the right home for your family. Definitely would hire him again or recommend him to anyone for any future property sale/purchase needs. Thanks a lot Jacob! Edit 8-25-2023: So, the time came when we sadly needed to sell our property and there was only 1 person we would call: Jacob Barnes. So we did and the story repeated again, His availability, hard work and expertise made our experience very enjoyable and successfull. If we ever need to buy a property in Vermont, guess who will we call? Thanks Jacob for making this sell a complete success.

We are so grateful for all the time he spent with us showing us around multiple areas of Vermont.

Fantastic experience: As a first-time homebuyer in the Vermont real estate market, I did as much research as I could to inform myself. However, no amount of research I did could make up for the fantastic job that Jacob Barnes from EXP Realty did for me. Jacob walked me through the process slowly and made sure I understood everything clearly. He was always extremely prompt in responding to my inquiries and scheduling showings, and he was able to secure a showing for each property that I wanted to view during my search. Fantastic experience: We were looking for a home to retire to in Vermont. We were doing it blind...my husband hadn't been in Vermont since the 80's, and I'd never visited even once. Our realtor in Wisconsin found and interviewed Jacob for us before referring us to him for his help. We were fortunate to find a home very quickly, but the circumstances were rough because one of our four legged family members was very ill during the initial virtual walkthrough. Jacob was nothing but patient, compassionate and flexible. He was incredibly organized, ultra-responsive, and very well versed in real estate transactions. I've worked on and off in the industry for 30 years, and I've rarely been as impressed with a realtor as I was with Jacob. I especially loved that he preferred contact via text and email. As working IT professionals, my husband and I spend our days on conference calls, and it was just SO much easier to reply to texts and email than to deal with incessant phone calls. We've purchased and sold several homes over the years and I think I can speak for both my husband and I...Jacob is a keeper!

Fantastic experience: Jacob's the best! Super helpful and responsive, Jacob was an invaluable resource as we traversed the market last fall. Definitely hit him up if you are looking for a home in Vermont.
