It was late in the evening when I called hom to see if I could look at the house early the next morning. Even with the short notice Chad was willing to meet up with my husband and I. Chad is very professional, had great ideas about how to go about improving the property and guided us on what we should offer the seller. We were living out of town at the time we made the offer, he made the application and loan process a breeze, within 60 days we were moving in. We have been friends ever since. Negative experience: I recently sold my late father’s home, and Currey was the buyers’ agent. Currey made an already stressful and emotional transaction much more stressful than it needed to be. His written offer had errors in it that my agent needed to correct with addenda, which Currey completely ignored; these required forms were only signed by the buyers at closing because my agent arranged with the title company to have them signed. Currey also never reminded the buyers to deposit their earnest money, and my agent — after repeatedly failing to get a response from Currey — contacted them directly, and their earnest money was deposited about an hour before the deadline. The deal closed with about a half-hour to spare. In all, Currey ignored 8 consecutive attempts, over 10 days, my agent made to contact him. A horrible, inexcusable, totally unprofessional lack of communication that nearly wrecked the transaction. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had out of dozens of real estate deals over the years.

Fantastic experience: Malheur realty is a small locally owned Independent business ran by the owner himself Chad Currey By my knowledge We recently purchased a home using his services Our situation for purchasing a house was a very complex unique situation Because of a family member regarding disabilities We had to be very particular Which put a bunch of challenges in front of him Not only challenges but a bunch of time And traveling to show us multiple houses For him I thought this was going to be an overload A few Gray hairs And the reason he retires With them 10 plus years of experience that he has it really showed and pulled through Through all this complex stuff And brick walls things were starting to look grim Except for Chad Curry he remained confident and promising and said not to worry He has done this long enough that he could almost predict what was coming next And sure enough that experience was accurate he worked outside of business hours from home and even searched other realtor sites To meet the commendations and finding our home He handled phone calls and paperwork and other things that he did not have to do he went well out of his way To make it happen and did it all within a month's time and had us the keys and ready to move in He is a very upfront and honest businessman There were no lies or Disonesty in anything that he said He is also a charitable business person As I got to experience this for myself he had an opportunity to help in a time of hardship And Donated He has very deep roots with the community He helps sponsor Some of the events as in the Malheur County fair and others He's a very thoughtful and resourceful person If there is anything that needs to be done on the property he can direct you to a reasonable repair person I recommend him 100% He made this process as easy as it could be 100% non stressful 100% fair
