Fantastic experience: Highly recommend renting from this agency! I had to find a house quickly as my lease was ending and Farish Realty made it possible. Sadie Hammond, senior property manger, was outstanding! She is professional, quick and makes the process a breeze!

Negative experience: Overall, Farish was meh...I had more than a few issues with them. One, they do a lot of inspections when you first move in. Two, their maintenance only covers certain things or they charge you. They basically want you to do everything yourself. We moved into the home not knowing that only one burner was working on the stove. They sent a technician out who replaced the crumb catchers and claimed that all the burners worked, but they did not - we still only had one. So we just dealt with it. We were also unaware that we could not use the pool due to the owner not paying her HOA fees. Would have been nice to know that before taking my kids to the pool ready to swim. They also don't allow their tenants to use the fireplaces for whatever reason. The main issue I have is that when I was ready to move out, I gave them my 60 days' notice and inquired about early termination fees as I had just renewed the lease not long ago. I was sent the clause from the lease agreement to review. After speaking with them over the phone and in person, I was informed that the fee for breaking the lease was $250. I let them know that I was going to move out by the end of the month to avoid having to pay the next month's rent. They said they understood and that I wouldn't be charged if I moved out by May 31st. This fell on a Saturday, so the inspection was Monday. No comments were made at the inspection, and I was informed two days later that I would not be charged for anything other than the early termination fees, which I thought was $250. I also kept checking their portal to ensure I didn't owe anything, and it showed a zero balance every time. I busted my tail cleaning up to get my deposit back, hired a professional carpet cleaner, replaced parts that had broken, etc. Spent at least $500 fixing it up and was expecting to get 1K back after the $250 fee. I received an email from them yesterday that said I owed them $525. Despite everything I've been told about the fees, they are still charging me for June rent, even though I was fully moved out in May. We didn't even live there for half of May. I am beyond frustrated with this company and do not recommend them to any tenants, unless you like being misled and them not caring about you. They have yet to respond to my email about this situation. Oh, and there was also mold in the garage for a long time that they took forever to remove. They said we had to clean empty boxes up to avoid eviction, and I told them we were not doing that until they removed the mold as that is hazardous to our health. Again...no effs given. This company is terrible.

Fantastic experience: New management has been very quick with responses and repairs (even on holidays). I've had repairs done same or next day from my request. Only reason I left was cost of living was getting expensive in the state, so I moved out of state.

Negative experience: Great resource for a property management company. They do an excellent job for the owner's interest. Renting from them was not terrible either. The part that misses the mark from a renters perspective is when it is time to move on, FR&A do what they can to keep back as much of a portion of your security deposit as their contract allows for. We took great care of the place and improved it some. Upon leaving, we did a deep clean of the place and touched up wherever paint was scarred from hanging / moving, but they like to focus on minor things to keep back some of the deposit, they don't credit you for any of the things you did to improve their property, but only highlight that they are estimating it based on what the vendor is telling them. Blending the paint for touchup areas = a full day for painting touchup and minus $350 of funds that you were counting on for taking care of your family during this high inflationary environment. Moving a fridge (that they said they were no longer using) from a shed in the backyard to back in the house = 3 hours of labor and minus $150 of funds you were counting on for taking care of your family with high inflation. There ends up not being really much you can do to get the portion they take back, because its really whatever a judge decides, so possibly you can get it back through small claims court, if your not always too busy working a couple of jobs to take care of your family during a high inflationary period.

Fantastic experience: Second round working with Farish Realty and they knocked it out of the park yet again. Highly recommend using these experts in and around the West Georgia area!

As a medium-sized investor, they do a fantastic job keeping me in the loop with my properties, and any trends in the market. They are always ahead of the curve when it comes to keeping me updated with what to expect, and how rent rates are trending. They also offer excellent advice in terms of upgrades and amenities that tenants are looking for in order to set my properties apart. I have never heard of them being rude or condescending to tenants, and consistently get positive feedback about tenant-management interactions. They always deliver an outstanding customer experience (both owner and tenant), and I recommend them to every other investor I speak with!

Positive experience: After making this 1 star review on my experience . Although the staff sounds polite over the phone the rental applications process is poor. I specifically called in on application process prior to putting application in . I verified rental requirements 3 times rent , rental history, application processing time, etc. applied twice website had issues so I applied again 8/7, was explained applications are processed Mon and Friday, move ins are 1, 15 of month. I explained my living circumstances that if moved out my home and was in a hotel paying daily rate until a new property could be obtained. Was told an email would be sent to have my application to be one of the 1st to be reviewed for processing, then was quoted 3-5 days for application processing . It is currently 8/21 no application approval or denial has been received. When I called I was explained it's a lot off application initially when I inquired after putting in the application I was given the amount off applicants on property which would be able to be counted on a few fingers. Which wasn't a lot specifically the reason I applied. 8/7 is a Monday 8/11 is a Friday 8/14 is Monday 8/18 is a Friday and no progressionor notification on application process. I make 3 times the rent, two employers , on the one job over 4 years the other just a couple months shy of a year, rental history, check stub supplied and credit history 657, over the required guidelines. The fee is not refundable as it's for processing the app, mine hasn't been processed and I'm subject to non refundable policies that did not allow me the opportunity to be processed as quoted in the 1st place. This is bad customer service applications should be processed at least in the week received clients should receive notice that this is being processed. Some clients have extraordinary life circumstances and time is of the essence. Not even the owner if this establishment would be enthusiastic about paying for services in good faith but not have service rendered in good faith. I've been reached out by the staff of Farish Reality. I was scenerly apologized to & given detailed explanation as to what had been transpiring to cause such delays and clearly explained the application process in detail by Ms Sherri. Since my application has been able to be processed , allowing my family to move into my new residence. Sherri was very willing to assist and help my family have a positive turn around . Sherri was very professional and heartfelt during our meeting for the lease signing. Her willingness and work ethic shows she really enjoys her job . That she truly cares about the clients she work with. She is an absolute asset to Farish Realty and definitely would recommend others to this company. I also would like to thank Trista for the due diligence in the additional follow up with me to confirm that my family concerns had been resolved.

Negative experience: one word... Horrible

Negative experience: I haven’t rented in about 4 years so I was surprised to see that Farish required $75 application fee plus bank statements, pay stubs etc before being able to see the. Fine, no problem. Received the code 2 days later. Checked out the home and the next day received an email that stated not approved but with no reason why. I checked out the rental report and didn’t see any rental evictions, poor payment history etc. just a bit asinine to pay $75 bucks up front just to see something and then no call or real person giving feedback. Seems like a racket and I’m sure they’re racking up!!!

Negative experience: Please beware if you plan on renting a house from Farish Realty. They let us rent our current house when it was not even ready. 90% of the windows did not close all the way. The outlets in the home could not hold plugs, doors wouldn't close and the list goes on! We had to wait MONTHS to finally get them to send someone to fix all the issues. Currently there is MOLD in the home and we have been waiting 2 weeks for them to only tell us AGAIN that we need to wait for one of their vendors to reach out to us. They do this everytime! They are the worst! please be aware and go with a different company!

Negative experience: Very disappointing very unprofessional moving is already a headache I’m and a loss of words it’s just a waste of time and money right around Christmas time I can’t believe this…..

Negative experience: They will do little to no maintenance they will nickel and dine you and then try to threaten you with an eviction when you're already moving out they're just money hungry people who know not what they do I guess My lease renewed like the 1st of July 1st of August I gave a 60-day notice 15 days later they charged a $75 which used to be 50 and went up without notification fee for lease renewal for them 3 months that I'm staying here they want $75 they will not accept my last month's rent unless I pay their extortion fee so I guess we'll go to court and tell the judge how they're trying to screw us over anytime you're given the chance to rent these people I would strongly consider otherwise they are not in your best interest I promise you that

Positive experience: Edit: Trisha got back with me swiftly and was very helpful with letting me know what was going on as far as the repairs to the fence. Everything isn't fixed yet, but it's moving in the right direction. I definitely felt like she cared about my issue and she was willing to investigate what caused the hold up. Original: They increased my rent by 26%. I have requested their help with the fence in the back yard. I have a dog that requires the back yard. They said someone would come by in a week. No one came by. But in addition, that's not acceptable. Something like that should be addressed immediately since this is the main reason that I rent this place. You will not be considered important.

Fantastic experience: I have been renting a town home through Farish for a year now. It took a day for us to get all the paperwork filled out and moved in the same day, they are quick and welcoming to a new and difficult situation that can be overwhelming they have all the answers. They have clean homes with great upkeep and quick response time when maintenance is needed. I had a hot water heater leaking they attempted to repair it ,ended up not being a repairable problem and they replaced it the same day.
