Negative experience: After I called Alicia Nokonyana regarding the A/C leaking, I was completely shocked by how unprofessional she was. I had already reported the leak the day before, and she never bothered to return my call or provide any update. When I called again, she finally stated that someone would come out today. When I told her that the least she could have done was call us as a courtesy to let us know someone would be coming, instead of taking responsibility for the lack of communication, she told me to “pay my rent” and even brought up a previous review I had left. That response was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unrelated to the maintenance issue I was trying to have resolved. On top of that, we have been without a usable kitchen sink for the past 2–3 weeks. Because of their failure to repair it, we have been unable to properly cook meals in our own home and have been forced to wash our baby’s bottles in the bathroom sink. This is completely unacceptable and creates unnecessary health and sanitation concerns. Megan has also been negligent in the way this situation has been handled. She told her team that someone had already come out and fixed the problem when that simply was not true. The only thing we were told was that they have one maintenance technician who was busy with five other work orders and that he would get to us “when he can.” And to try and fix it our self. That conversation took place 2–3 weeks ago, yet the issue still has not been resolved. I have made it clear that I am pursuing legal action for multiple reasons. The ongoing maintenance failures, the lack of communication, the false information being provided, and the dismissive treatment from management are unacceptable. We are paying to live in a safe, habitable home, not to deal with weeks of unresolved maintenance issues, water damage, an unusable kitchen, and disrespect from the very people responsible for managing the property. Negative experience: Worst property management company I’ve ever dealt with. My experience with Grab the Map has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, it’s been one issue after another with little to no accountability. The first house they tried to lease to me had previously been flooded with sewage. The smell was absolutely unbearable, yet they still tried to pass it off as “move-in ready.” Maintenance told us the house was going up for foreclosure. That alone should have told me everything I needed to know. The house I’m currently in has been full of problems. The kitchen sink has been unusable because they installed cheap, flimsy flexible drain pipes instead of fixing it properly. The A/C unit has leaked water underneath the vinyl flooring, causing it to bubble up and come apart. Even after reporting it, they still haven’t fixed the flooring correctly. The worst part was when maintenance caused sewage to back up into my bedrooms and closet. They left human waste sitting in my home and didn’t come back until the next day to try to clean it up. No one should ever have to live through something like that. I’m beyond disgusted with how these issues have been handled. The lack of professionalism, urgency, and concern for tenants is unacceptable. I have completely lost trust in this company. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Grab the Map. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the stress, the headaches, and the disappointment by renting somewhere else. Grab the map do me a favor, ungrab the map.

Negative experience: Writing this as a landlord, this was the worst property management experience I've had. Since February 2025 I've had to call, email multiple times each month to get the rent distributed to me, sometimes receiving it months later. If I was dependent on the rental income I would have lost the house to the bank. Communication was horrible, I never got a call from the owner despite many professional emails and calls I sent him and his company. I was lucky to ever get an email reply. I will answer any questions you have about this company and my experience.

Negative experience: I have lived here for the last 14years.and I am not happy with the Grab the Map prop. and.at first it was very well but as the years go by management has changed the service has changed this has been the worst place that I could ever possibly live. The maintenance date on fix nothing. And the owner does not care about his people. I reached out repeatedly and to no avail. So no I don't recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I gave 5 starts for maintenance! John Pittman is a GREAT maintenance man. He fixed all of my plumbing issues without a problem, without a complaint or anything. He came in got the job done & left, & he was very respectful. He’s very hardworking.

Fantastic experience: Happy tenant here. Work with them, and they’ll work with you. If you don’t like a property, keep it moving. You’ll eventually find something just right for you. When I needed something fixed, I got it less than 24hrs. It’s been good guys!

Negative experience: Absolutely worst people to deal with when selling property They call and worry you to death about selling then try to drag the price down Once you finally agreed on a price Sign a purchase agreement you pull the property off the market they settle on a closing date then ghost you Call the office in tupelo ms and they are rude as hell and claim they will get back to you and never do

Negative experience: Rented from them for a year! Constantly had plumbing issues where if we washed laundry or ran the dishwasher it would flood the bathroom!!! They only quick fixed it for it to drain for like a month or two and we had to call them back again!!!

Negative experience: This place has been a absolute headache. Every year our rent keeps going up. I have lived here for 3 years and I have had nothing but problems. I have personally had to pay a exterminator to come out when I first moved here because of the roach infestation. There is standing water all in our yard from the septic system. Our driveway is nothing but huge pot wholes. I wouldn't mined paying 750 for a house that was worth 750. Also we had a guy that came out while my husband was in the hospital when my fridge was broke. The things this guy was saying to me and doing maid me feel so very uncomfortable. Then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to go somewhere with him. They also sent this same guy out 2 weeks ago when our power went out to come fix it. And this guy is not a electrician he is heating and cooling guy. My power has yet to be fix and I have been dealing with it coming on and going off. I have 3 kids and this is ridiculous I have been in contact with Lisa but never here a text back or call back and have been calling and texting since yesterday. I do work a full time job and I will not alow anyone in my home when I am not here so if they can't come when I'm home I guess they just won't come at all. This is not how a rental should be. They expect there money but don't want to take pride in the property they are renting.

Negative experience: I've been trying ever since the first day I moved in to get something done about a problem I am having with the property. I have submitted several maintenance requests and each time it isn't taken seriously. Is there someone I can speak to who is over all the properties?

Positive experience: Real nice rental company. Very professional. Glad I found this company. The house I rent is really nice and up to date.

Negative experience: My friends daughter came into the office to ask about rental properties. Upon entering the location the first thing the office person said was we don’t except TVA. No greeting or hello May I hep you. So the first thing you see is a African American female and you assume she’s on TVA. All black people aren’t on TVA and if they were so what! That’s not how you greet anyone!

Negative experience: Wanda Gunn- Jones is a horrible property manager and very unprofessional .The grounds are kept in horrible conditions and any requests for repairs are met with attitude and nastiness. She even messaged me from her personal phone after 9pm with insults beyond business matters. Screenshots can be provided upon request.I have tried numerous ways to make a complaint against her .Who is her boss? I would love to send them the Screenshots of Ms Chambers rude and unprofessional behavior. ** Update Lisa called to apologize for Wanda on behalf of the Company. But honestly it's too little to late no one deserves the harassment I received Grab the Map should employ more professional people to represent their company.
