Negative experience: I would advise against doing business with them. They will hold your security deposit beyond 30 days without reason and lie repeatedly to you about it. They also will make up things they can hold money for without providing evidence. Shady and they don’t even clean properly before you move in.

Fantastic experience: I found a chimney cap on my deck that had blown off during a severe storm. I thought it was from my condo unit, but the maintenance worker reported that the cap actually blew off the adjacent condo. He and his assistant repaired it immediately. They were very courteous and competent.

Fantastic experience: I live in a property that was recently sold and Silverheels is the new management company. Maintenance responded quickly, even with a low priority request, and Chris completed the job beautifully. He even cleaned up after himself.

Fantastic experience: The gentleman, Chris, who came in to fix my problem with the heater was very nice and explained the issue in full. They were on the scene less than two hours after the complaint was made. Excellent service! Negative experience: DIDNT EVEN WANT TO GIVE ONE STAR Moved in called about roaches every single day for the past year and a half finally did something about it. Found out about my ESA dog and affected me did nothing about the roaches for a year and a half as they got worse and worse and worse I had to pay over $200 And my own pocket money of killing the roaches myself with my own supplies and the landlord lady would not work with us at all with anything involving cleaning the apartment the roaches got so bad to the point where we had to threaten without rent and I just recommend anybody going on scam. Do not move in. It’s full of roaches. Every single apartment is full of roaches it’s horrible. They’re so bad to the point where it’s like they’re being transported from a cardboard box millions and millions and millions will fall out of your appliances if you leave them for about two days Attended please for the love of God do not bring your children in here. It’s very unsafe very unsanitary very disgusting and the landlord is very disrespectful very rude and very ugly and unkind.

Fantastic experience: Once again, very satisfied. John and Marjorie were very prompt in taking care of my problem, and they did it with a smile. Appreciate them both so very much.

Fantastic experience: My air conditioning recently stopped working and while waiting for one to be ordered a temporary one was installed. A great relief. Chris did a great job, was polite and friendly and was completed in a timely manner. Great experience.

She solved so many issues, got an electrician into the apartment to fix something before I moved in, and was generally great to work with. Always answered when I needed help, and was honest with me every step of the way.

Negative experience: Rent from here if you are interested in being charged $100 to replace a flourescant lighbulb that your contract says you aren't allowed to do yourself. Tons of other issues, but this is just the on that sticks out in my mind.

Negative experience: Slum lords never fixed anything,had a fire hazard light in kitchen that sparked when turned on,bug and mouse infested

Negative experience: While renting from them they were nice and very professional, but after I moved they overcharged the cleaning fee on my deposit (which we knew was wrong because it was left clean) and I had to threaten to sue before they would refund what they wrongfully charged. DONT RENT FROM THEIFS!

Negative experience: Not sure how they have a 4.2 rating. My boyfriend has lived at one of their properties on green street and it's not exactly 4.2 status. Washer and dryer has never worked that is 'conveniently' upstairs. Great location for events and by the river if you like being flooded out and get screwed with parking during said events. Oh and he has been without a stove for almost a year now. Which would be useful in his electric 'heat' apartment. It is freezing all the time. He's not one to say anything about it, but I've had it! And I'm only here one-two days a week!

Negative experience: Silverheels is a big hassle. Maintenance workers try to rigg things to fix it and if that doesnt work then they try the easiest and quickest way to fix it. I had to have them come 6 different times just to fix the same thing and they always leave a big mess behind. Silverheels never do what they tell me. It is very very frustrating dealing with them other than paying rent. The house is in better shape than when first moving in, you could tell they didnt even clean the kitchen floor i scrubbed it and it was such a huge difference. After moving i will never rent through Silverheels again.

Negative experience: This company is significantly greedy. We moved here in March and only had a week to find a home due to a job promotion. The house was a disaster. It was not clean, there was grime all over everything in the kitchen, and there were so many things left behind from the last renters. It was NOT move in ready and we were not aware until we arrived with our belongings. Upon leaving we left the house in better condition than when we moved in. They charged for “cleaning” and “discarding trash.” We left no trash and had the house shampooed and cleaned before we left. They took over half of our deposit. I will never rent from this company again.

Fantastic experience: I have been a renter for just under a year and can not say enough good things about the quality of service and interactions that have been my experience with Silverheels. The maintenance staff are always responsive, thoughtful and careful. Whether I have called weekends or late at night, they have never failed to give rapid, professional service. The ease of use created by a portal that allows me to pay the rent online and put in non-emergent maintenance requests has been a terrific tool. The only thing that will move me away from this property management company will be to reduce my monthly rental expenses.

Fantastic experience: I recently rented a property from Silverheels, and though it was only for 6 months, it was the best rental experience I have ever had. They were the most kind, and caring agency. Any call I made to them was quickly returned. Any concern or question I had was quickly resolved or answered. I was very impressed with this company. I would not hesitate to refer renters to them and if I am ever in need of renting property again, I will do it through Silverheels Property Management, LLC.

Negative experience: I will never rent from them again. The house I lived in was disgusting. I even found a dead mummified rat in the basement. The bathroom had mold and the outside bottom of the shower was missing and was growing mushrooms. Worst rental experience ever.

Negative experience: I had a very similar experience as both these last 2 people! They keep your deposit for "cleaning" yet you never see the results! Unfortunately I had moved from out of state and did not know at the time what kind of property management they were. I moved in and there was dog hair and cobwebs from after they "cleaned" it. I also had a huge mold issue in the bathroom along with half the windows not being able to open since they were either painted shut or so old they didn't work properly. I also had the town shut off my water for over a month because the hot water heater was rusted from the inside out and had no heat for a month due to the furnace needing replacing! I am thankful it was July as the fire department told me had I turned it on the house would have gone up in seconds! When I moved out they had refused to refund the month I could not live there because I had no heat or hot water AND they kept my deposit claiming "cleaning and fleas", yet I had vet paperwork that neither of my 2 cats had fleas (they are indoor cats only) and they were current on their shots/meds. There was also a massive tick problem in the side driveway and mosquitoes in the backyard because they only mowed the lawn once a month. The front porch was sliding to the side of the house, you could see were it was disconnecting from the side of the house. These people are ridiculous! I would never recommend anyone ever rent from them unless they want to constantly be in court fighting over slum management for slum lords! Worst experience I have ever had and I am a single mom of two!
