She wisely advised us as to small repairs that we needed to make before sale and after we moved out of town, she met repair people at our house for issues that came up during the inspection. Negative experience: We purchased our home in Crawfordsville represented by Katie Viers. The sellers were represented by Donna Strand at Carpenter Realtors. We had an in-person meeting with the owners, Donna Strand, and Katie Viers all in attendance and repeatedly asked about any radon issues prior to signing the contract. We were told point blank, "there are no radon issues" by the owners and emphatically reiterated by Donna Strand during our meeting. The sellers had done substantial work over the years to this historic home and had files documenting improvements and a deep understanding of specifics like antique brick freeze/thaw cycles and historic home issues. The sellers were highly respected Wabash professors who had lived here 30 years so we took their word and assurance from Donna Strand that "there are no radon issues".After purchasing we discovered there were not only radon issues, there were massive severe radon issues that have proven difficult to resolve 18 months later. We phoned Katie within a week of possession notifying her of the radon findings and were told "sorry, it's our fault" because although she remembered the sellers and listing agent conversation we failed to ask if they had done any testing so the sellers and listing agent were off the hook for any responsibility. There is a big difference between being told, "there are no radon issues" and the lack of asking if testing was done. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable in an agent's representation of a client. I cannot recommend Katie or certainly Donna Strand as their lack of concern for our health is reprehensible. It's now been over 18 months and we have yet to find a radon mitigation specialist to fix the problem and being law abiding honest people, cannot sell the house without giving full disclosure of the radon issues to any prospective buyers. Buyer beware. In our opinion we were not properly represented by the purchasing agent and certainly not by the listing agent.

Fantastic experience: Lisa Cooper was extremely professional and knowledgeable in selling us our home. She didn’t just try to sell us to any house like some agents do. She was like dealing with a personal friend telling us which houses she would show us first and when a house smelled bad. We had to do video calls since we were out of state and she made that available to us. It was the best experience and way to buy the home we bought. If you want someone that goes beyond just being a realtor, then she is definitely your agent.

Fantastic experience: Cali Bridges was an Amazing realtor. She sold our house in 4 days and while she was on vacation she helped us purchase our new home. At zero fault of mine or Carpenter's of Crawfordsville the previous office failed to get started on the listing. Fantastic experience: My wife initially contacted Justin Lowe about a house that was for sale. That house did not work out. We continued to look on the online listing sites for houses in our price range and locations where we were wanting to relocate. I had called 2-3 other realtors and their response was not very good. I called Justin about a piece of property and he answered all the questions (I had a lot!) and took the time necessary and the effort to work with us. I never felt that I was imposing upon his time, although, I am sure sometimes that did happen. Justin was readily available for a question, if not immediately, his return call or text was very quick and timely. I will have to say that Justin worked with us through the limitations and complications of searching for the "right" house for us. When we would make the trip to Indiana to look at a house and it just was not "right", his response was very positive, "It will come, We will find it." And we did. I can totally recommend Justin Lowe to be your realtor if you are looking for your new home in West Central Indiana.

Negative experience: The one star does not reflect Carpenter Realtors, it reflects our agent. We had same agent for selling/buying. In which he sold himself really good at first, over the whole process, we found many discrepancies and dishonesty.. At the closings on both homes, we never received a Thank you, Congratulations, good luck, nothing , never even shook our hands ! Worst experience we have had in a real estate agent !!

Fantastic experience: Troy's patience and perseverance got us the house of our dreams. He was also focused on getting us the best deal possible when we sold our prior home. He has to be one of the best if not the best realtors in this area. Troy was always on top of things which was crucial for us getting a home in this competitive market.
