Fantastic experience: My wife and I were very pleased with our stay. Expectations exceeded in regards to the beauty and sounds of the river. Home is lovely and spacious and has everything you need for a great stay. Management is very prompt in answering any questions and resolving any issues quickly. This was a very memorable 25th wedding anniversary vacation that we will never forget. Don't forget to eat at Bird and Jim's. It is a fabulous dining experience.

Fantastic experience: Estes Park is absolutely stunning! The house was perfect, clean, comfortable and overall peaceful. The views from the house are absolutely beautiful! We had a little mixup with getting our door codes on time but other than that the stay was perfect. The house is only a few minutes drive to downtown which has a ton of shops and food. We did hiking, frisbee golf, and rock climbing. We also took a day trip to Boulder. There’s so much to do and so much to see. We had a great vacation!!!! Would visit Estes again and would stay here again!

Negative experience: I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience so future guests know what to expect. We booked Mount Nimbus at Mary’s Lake specifically because it advertised a private hot tub. After an 8+ hour drive, we arrived looking forward to relaxing that evening, only to find the hot tub was dirty, cold, displaying an error, and completely inoperable. This wasn’t a minor inconvenience—it was the primary reason we chose this property over others. I immediately contacted PMI Estes Park through the Vrbo messaging system and repeatedly asked for someone to call me. Instead of speaking with someone, I received delayed text responses while my requests for a phone call were ignored. It took multiple messages before I received any meaningful response. To make matters worse, I was eventually told that the earliest a repair technician could come was the Friday after our stay had already ended, meaning there was never any intention or ability to provide the amenity we paid for. As we looked around the property, we found several additional maintenance issues: * Broken sink faucet. * Coffee maker that would not brew coffee. * Living room TV remote that did not work. * Main bathroom door lock that would not lock. * Patio table missing a tile/section from the tabletop. Not only was the property not properly maintained, but the customer service was even more disappointing. At no point did the property management company proactively offer: * A partial refund. * A discount. * A comparable replacement property. * Any meaningful solution beyond “we’ll send maintenance.” Instead, we were left to solve the problem ourselves while on vacation. Thankfully, Vrbo stepped in when the property manager would not. Vrbo ultimately covered the cost of our stay and even paid the difference for us to move into another property so our family could actually enjoy the vacation we had planned. What was especially frustrating was receiving automated messages after checkout asking us to: * Make sure the hot tub cover was secured. * Leave a positive review. * Ask about a return guest discount. Receiving those messages after everything that happened showed a complete lack of awareness of the experience we had. I understand that things break. Hot tubs fail. Appliances stop working. What separates a great host from a poor one is how they respond when those problems occur. Unfortunately, PMI Estes Park failed on every level. Communication was poor, requests for a phone call were ignored, no reasonable accommodations were offered, and there was no attempt to make the situation right. If you’re booking this property because of the amenities it advertises, be aware that if something isn’t working, you may be left without support or a timely resolution. I appreciate Vrbo for making things right, but I cannot recommend this property or PMI Estes Park based on our experience.

Fantastic experience: We were a group of 8 renting a home for a weekend vacation in Estes Park, and we were very impressed with the rental and with the service provided by PMI. The home was very clean with all necessary amenities, and had a well-appointed game room that gave us hours of entertainment and friendly competition. The home was spacious with comfortable beds, and we were close to the lake and to all of the downtown shops and activities.

Fantastic experience: My party of four adults and two children recently spent five nights at Riverfront Escape in Estes Park managed by PMI. The property was extremely clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds very comfortable. The booking process was handled entirely online and was easy and efficient. PMI provided all necessary information via email and were very intent to provide an excellent lodging experience. We all enjoyed our vacation immensely and would highly recommend Riverfront Escape and PMI property management.

Positive experience: Machin's Cottages #18 provided a wonderful experience in Estes Park - a well-appointed two bedroom, one bath, spacious cabin for three adults and one child. Comfortable, Western decor, quiet just 15 minutes from central Estes Park - and easy access to hiking across the eastern side of Rocky Mountain National Park. The Country Market is a great local market west of downtown, perfect for our location. Rough, rural road (paved, gravel, lots of bumps and potholes) for access to the cabins - but this is made clear on the website. While there is a physical office building, there was no on on site to address issues - it is being remodeled and found only contractors on site. That said, the PMI emergency access line resulted in a prompt call-back and response to the issue I had (access was not clear as there is a lockbox on the outside of the entrance which is no longer used - there is now a digital access pad inside the screen door on the primary door). Door to the smaller bedroom needs to be fixed - very tight to open and close. Wonky bedside light in the smaller bedroom. Kitchen has most of the equipment you need to prepare meals - very well supplied, but no spices, sugar, oil and related cooking ingredients I expected - had to shop for everything with the exception of salt and pepper.

Positive experience: We had a wonderful stay! The cabin provided excellent accommodations and was perfectly equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals indoors. We especially loved the relaxing outdoor area by the creek. It was just the right distance away from town too so we could enjoy the solitude of the area and then not have to travel too far to get into town or Rocky Mountain National Park. We will be back for sure!

Fantastic experience: Our vacation rental couldn’t have been better. We traveled as a family of six, including a baby, and the place was spotless, comfortable, and spacious enough for everyone to relax. The home was exceptionally clean, and we felt at ease the moment we walked in. One of our favorite features was the cozy porch overlooking the creek — we spent hours out there listening to the water, unwinding, and taking in the beauty of the area. We’re so grateful to our wonderful host for creating such a lovely space that made our visit to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park truly memorable.

Negative experience: After using PMI as a property management for 5+ years they started being very late (months late) on payments of owner's revenue without communication. This ultimately had us lose trust in them and we ended our professional relationship. Since then they will not return any emails or give us payment from the final two months. We have called, emailed, text messaged and they do not respond to ANYTHING yet owe us almost 5 thousand dollars in owners revenue. I would NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: We rented the cabin at 318 Big Horn in Estes Park Colorado. It slept 5 adults very comfortably, and had more than enough space. I was very impressed by the FULLY stocked kitchen, it had everything you can possibly need and more (which is so convenient when traveling from out of state)! It was only .5 miles from the main strip of shops, and less than 5 miles from every one of our destinations. I would definitely stay here again. Just a couple small things they can improve on: 1) leave more towels for guests. They only provided 2 towels per room, so we were washing towels pretty frequently. 2) Consider replacing the mattresses, they were really bad (all 5 of us agreed).

Fantastic experience: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful and has plenty of room to spread out. The game room was so much fun, providing entertainment at home after great hiking days. We loved being able to walk into town, especially for our morning coffee. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all our friends!

Negative experience: Warning! PMI is five months late paying us the money they collected for renting our Estes property. Appears to be having significant financial challenges and won’t return our emails or calls. Think twice before sending them money.

Fantastic experience: Our stay at the Riverfront Escape was absolutely wonderful. The moment we walked in, it felt cozy and inviting—like a true home away from home. The views are stunning, and falling asleep to the gentle lullaby of the river each night was pure magic. The cabin was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials (and more), the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living spaces were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Our family especially loved the huge selection of games and the great TV access for winding down in the evenings. It’s quiet, peaceful, and ideal for families or anyone looking to recharge in a beautiful setting. With all the amenities of home paired with a breathtaking riverfront view, this cabin is truly a gem. We can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic experience: Stunning Golf Course Unit with Mountain Views This beautiful unit sits right on the golf course with breathtaking views of both the fairways and mountains. We spotted elk and deer regularly during our stay and loved being able to step out for long walks directly from the property. Whether relaxing on the back deck or inside by the expansive wall-to-wall windows, the views were absolutely gorgeous. The unit features two bedrooms (each with mountain and/or golf course views), plus a beautifully renovated bathroom and kitchen that made our stay comfortable and convenient. Our family particularly appreciated the attached garage—perfect for protecting the car and storing all our gear. The location was ideal, with easy access to downtown, the lake, and the recreation center. Being on the free bus line to town and the park was an added bonus. We highly recommend this unit to anyone seeking a relaxing, scenic getaway.

Fantastic experience: We stayed 3 nights at Manchin's Cottages in the Pines. Our cottage was immaculate and full of vintage charm. When they say the kitchen is fully appointed, they mean it. I've lived most of my adult life without benefit of a cake server but this kitchen had one. On the first day we couldn't get the oven to work. I made one quick phone call and it was fixed when we got back from our hike. The cottages are technically inside the park but accessed by car from Estes. The beauty is you can hike right into the park from there, no timed entry, no driving, no parking, just hiking. At the same time you are 6 minutes from restaurants and groceries. Our visit was in the fall. Many of the cabins were occupied but there weren't any kids around. I suspect in the summer it is a bit more animated with the playground in full use but during our stay it was complete peace and quiet. We dearly hope to go back one day.

Positive experience: Loved this cabin. It was beautiful and quiet. Inside was bright and open. Things that made it great were: the fireplace, the large bathroom with both jetted tub (although, how do you turn on the jets?) & the walk-in shower, double sinks, and the hot tub. This cabin is the highest point on the ranch, surrounded by mountains and had a trail right behind it. We loved that it was pet-friendly. Proximity was 30ish mins to Estes Park & 45ish mins to Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. The check-in process was a little confusing - we went to the office in the lodge and they told us to just use the door code in our email. Sure, seems simple, but that’s not a normal check-in process. This isn’t AirBNB. Would recommend making this process more clear/adapting to more common check-in processes. I find that a “hot tub” fee is obnoxious when it is included in the listing - I hate secret fees. Would highly recommend adding a table or two for the chairs to set food and drinks. Appreciated the mini-fridge and coffee maker. The water tasted bad - perhaps offer bottles of water, or at least a vending machine to buy them? All of that aside - the only reasons I’m not giving this a 5 are (and these are simple fixes): 1-the front door latch is a PAIN. I know it looks rustic, but it was challenging to open and lock from the outside due to the wood warping with the weather. We had trouble locking the door every single time. Very frustrating. Just put a normal door knob on, PLEASE. 2-the vanities in the bathroom have too low a profile - stubbed toes many times:( Please raise the vanities to the proper 4-5 inches. Whoever designed these has no business designing.

Negative experience: Service from PMI was pathetic! NO ONE would return my calls/messages on CHECK-IN Sunday. Turns out my check-in information went to my JUNK/SPAM which I rarely check if ever! I finally got a code to enter the cabin at 5:00 pm an hour later than check-in time. My wife and I were in Loveland by 11:00 am trying to get check-in info. I called answering service and left messages that no one ever responded to. Ariel had given me her Cell # and she STILL has not responded to my voicemails!! such POOR response from your company PMI Estes!! We had to go to the PMI office on Monday to try and speak to someone. There was 1 person in the office at 1:00 pm who I finally talked to. I told him about all that had happened, he said an email was sent a week earlier, that I never got since it went to mu SPAM. Thje big thing to me was NO RESPONSE to ALL of my messages on Sunday. Such POOR SERVICE from PMI EStes, never again!!

Fantastic experience: We had an absolutely amazing time! The tv in the living room was a pleasant surprise, the kitchen was nice and well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. The highlight is the view of Longs Peak though! We spent lots of time on the deck just taking it in. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Positive experience: The owner lee has passed,94 of age he was great,christa was in the office too!No one is in the office now.........by chance we caught lewis doing laundry,we exchanged towls,we were lucky we saw him to excange towls!!!!!!! it says that some one will be there mon-fri 830-1230... that is not true at all.We had no wifi for 5 days in the contract it says wifi!!!!The maintenance MAN,was the only person that help us thankyou on this!!!!! we called the PMI number daily because wifi didnt work....no clock no tv that worked ,no radio...we were lucky the maintenance man responded....he needs a raise!!! for 12 days we paid for it was not cheap,its almost has double in price!!!!!!!!Please someone buy it who cares about the PROPERTY.......PMI does not care....only the money you have to pay upfront,and you dont get them to respond to your needs!!!! shame on them!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: The view was incredible of Twin Sisters and Longs Peak right outside the main window and the deck was so enjoyable with the fire table and grill and the view! Positive experience: Cabin was very clean when we arrived. It was the perfect size for 3 adults. The kitchen was well-equipped. We never watched the TV, but it was smaller than most computer monitors. The location was excellent, very close to RMNP entrance. Didn't have to drive thru busy Estes Park to get to the National Park. Beautiful view of mountains sitting on the porch. We also appreciated the secluded feel of our cabin. We drove past other companies whose cabins were literally on top of each other. Days prior to arrival, we received an email with our check-in instructions. The entry code for the door was incorrect. We called and got the correct code within an hour.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely loved this house. It had everything we needed and things we didn’t even know we needed! This house was perfect for our family of two adults and four teenagers. Beds were very comfortable, and everyone had a place to spread out. The house was super clean. We appreciated 3 full baths and two different living spaces. The location is fantastic. Close to RMNP, downtown Estes Park and the river walk, restaurants, the Stanley Hotel, multiple coffee shops ,and grocery store. We hope to stay here every time we visit Estes Park!

Positive experience: I am 49 years old and stayed here when I was a kid and my family has stayed over the years many times in cabin #5. The deck and cabin are perfect, feels like your own private cabin in the mountains. The only complaint I have was this last trip was just my wife and I and no kids. There is a book you can sign about your stay. The people before us had dogs in the cabin. I have nothing against pets but everything we dropped on the floor like are clothes for example were covered in dog hair when you picked them up. Then it was all over our luggage, in my truck, etc.

Fantastic experience: Very quiet, clean, well stocked condo. Even though this condo is a little tricky to find, it is the best location due to complete solitude and wildlife sightings.

Fantastic experience: I booked an Airbnb for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday, and the guest list ended up growing to exceed the max occupancy of the Airbnb. We all know that refunds can be a nightmare. Instead Lowell and the PMI team got back to me immediately, were totally understanding and refunded me the full amount. This company is clearly ran by good people. In the future we will absolutely be booking with PMI when we are in Estes with a smaller group. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: I recently stayed at PMI Estes Park's Three Pines location. The location was excellent as it's conveniently located to be in a quiet, peaceful setting while being very close to everything happening in town and RMNP. The cabin was beautifully decorated, comfy and fully equipped. It was great for our family of four adults and two young children. PMI was easy to book through and they were very responsive when I followed up to ask about a pack and play and other information. The strict 4pm/10am check-in/check-out is something prospective renters should be aware of and my only piece of negative feedback - it would be nice to have a little bit of flexibility (we had to wait outside for about an hour when the cabin was clearly fully ready and getting out by 10am exactly with young kids is tough and you get locked out at 10) without having to pay an extra $100-$200 for early check-in/late checkout. All said, I highly recommend PMI and specifically the Three Pines property for any Estes Park vacation.

Negative experience: We stayed at Rivers Edge. The house was nice and had everything we needed. My family rented the house next door. It was the same layout but slept one less person and our house had a bigger deck. My problem with PMI is that we paid over $1300 more than my family! If I would have known that before hand, I would not have rented our house. (I did agree to the price up front so I know I should have done more research) PMI response was it could be a different owner. But almost $200 per day is crazy. So just do your research before booking.

Fantastic experience: This was a perfect place to take our parents for their 64th anniversary! Everything they needed was on one level. We were close to town and RMNP entrance and yet we felt isolated in nature. Nice quiet neighborhood with lots of wild life. The house was clean and the whole process was easy even for someone who is technology challenged. All the upstairs beds were very comfortable but the couch pullout downstairs needs the mattress replaced. We took a queen size blowup mattress because I read a previous review that suggested they changed it. They haven't yet but everything else was wonderful. We had a truly marvelous time and hope to come back!!

Fantastic experience: We stayed 3 nights at Thatchtop Mountain and it really exceeded our expectations. The home was completely furnished with comfortable beds and furniture. The cabinets were stocked with anything you could possibly need and the hot tub was the perfect touch! We loved our evenings in the hot tub watching the stars. We also loved the mountain view from the deck during the day and the beautiful sunsets! We even had some elk greet us at the entrance one day. The only thing that would have been nice is a binder or something with information regarding check out instructions, local attractions, restaurants, etc. We loved this home and can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic experience: We loved this cabin rental, there were amazing views better than the photos show, the house was very clean, the furniture was beautiful and good quality, and everything was easy to use. The essentials provided were plenty for our stay, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, toilet paper, and paper towels. We have regularly encountered that we are only provided enough for maybe a day which then has us running out to the store quickly to pick these things up which is not the first thing you want to do if you’ve driven 20hrs to get here! The hot tub was wonderful and very clean as well. My kids loved playing in the entertainment areas in the basement and watching the constant herd of turkeys that surrounded the house! I also have to mention that anytime I had to get ahold of PMI either by phone or email they were great to work with. When we first arrived we had a (user) issue with the key code and they answered when I called and resolved it with me on the phone in less than 10 min. Great company and great accommodations, would absolutely stay here or in another one of their rentals in a heartbeat!

Negative experience: Rented a house for a week, this was the worst experience I’ve had. Takes DAYS for a response. Home owners don’t respond like stated in their “instructions” left at site. PMI only responds to what they feel they want to. You will get the run around. We had to deal with Heather . Would never recommend! Look for other options.

Negative experience: We rented this condo for a weekend. A couple of issues: -we had a covid scare with exposure and I reached out for options in case there was a positive test and got no response (both phone and email) -It snowed extensively and there wasn’t even a mat for boots at the door, felt bad for the owners as our wet boots were on the floor -after our stay we were charged for not putting the hot tub cover back on- which is completely inaccurate- 2 members in our group work in hospitality and were very particular about taking care of this item

Negative experience: We are currently staying at a PMI location in Estes Park and we are not thrilled. I have contacted the rental company, with a mild responce. For the amount of money we spent to be here it is definitely not worth the price. I definitely expected the living room furniture to be comfortable and in good condition. These things need to be thrown away. Not to mention they are so broken down its unbelievable and I would be embarrassed to rent this place with the condition this furniture is in. Next all the beds are hard as rock. No comfort what so ever. There are several missing light bulbs, master bathroom exhauste fan doesnt work, there is a broken window in the master bedroom, hot tub cover hinge is broken along with the hot tub control panel is unreadable. The kitchen cabinet door is about to fall off. I could go on...this home is beautiful and plenty of space for the 9 of us, but the fact that we cant even sit on the living room furniture is just ridiculous!
