Fantastic experience: We highly recommend Park Place Real Estate! We leased a non-student townhouse from them for a couple of years them. They are all friendly and professional. Maintenance is very prompt and skilled. They were very fair with our deposit and great with communicating us through sudden changes on our end. The unit was lovely to live in and affordable. Park Place gave us an excellent experience and we found them to be trustworthy. Out of the number of landlords we have had experience with in college towns across various states, Park Place has been the best. If we were to move back to the area, we would absolutely rent from them again!

Negative experience: Out of all the places to live in Oxford I wouldn’t recommend this one. The first day we moved in our washer flooded our entire apartment. Maintenance would not respond for days to weeks at a time. When calling to inquire Renee was standoffish and rude even laughing at request. Spend an extra couple hundred and go else where.

Fantastic experience: I've lived here going on 5 years now. I love it. No noisy undergrads live here. No red solo cup parties. No beer pong. Actual working adults live here. Renee & her team are attentive & right on anything that becomes an issue. My apartment is wonderful - full of light and spacious. I've become friends with my neighbors across the way. For the first time since I moved back to Oxford, I finally feel that where I live is home.

Fantastic experience: Park Place is a wonderful place to rent from. The office staff and the maintenance crew are great. My place had been renovated before I moved in and I was very happy with it.

Fantastic experience: My daughter rented with Park Place while she went to grad school at Miami University. Renee made communication very easy and she was attentive to the few small issues that came up with a quick response. She even helped get someone over with an early morning lockout before clinicals. I would definitely recommend Park Place to anyone renting in the Oxford area

Fantastic experience: I had a really great experience with Renee at Park Place, from before my lease began until it ended. I was hired at Miami University very close to the semester start date. I reached out to Renee regarding apartment availability. She was super prompt, sent photos, and helped expedite my application request. When I got to Oxford, she stayed on after close so I could pick up my keys. I appreciated this as I was driving in from across the country moving to Oxford. The apartment at Victoria Square itself was beautiful, exposed brick walls, lots of natural light, good neighbors, and nice grounds that were regularly maintained. Regarding apartment maintenance, every request was responded to immediately and fixed within a 24-hour period. The communication was really great. Anyone looking to move to Oxford, look up Park Place Real Estate for non-student housing. Make sure to get in and talk with Renee, she is an awesome problem solver and knows what she is doing. She is also a nice lady who runs things smoothly.

Fantastic experience: I rented a non-student townhouse from Park Place from 2019-2022 and had a great experience! As a visiting professor I had to rent quickly from out of state with short notice. Renee was always very responsive and helpful, both during the leasing process and throughout my time in Oxford, and the few maintenance requests I had were generally taken care of same-day. Park Place was great to rent from, and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for housing in Oxford.

Fantastic experience: Renee is absolutely wonderful, always nice and willing to help accommodate different needs. She honestly is the reason I haven’t moved in the last couple years. Park place does a great job, they are super responsive and maintenance is quick to address any issues. If you want an affordable, cozy place to lay your head call Renee!

I can confidently say that this was not the case with Park Place. Not only are they incredibly responsive but they truly care about their tenants and genuinely want to help solve issues that arise. Rene is that person for Park Place Real Estate and she does an amazing job. She is definitely a can do kind of person. There is no problem that she won't find a solution for.

Fantastic experience: I lived in a non-student rental for a few years and loved that apartment. So much character, just the right amount of space and a great price for hardwood floors, fireplaces, and tons of natural light. The neighbors were so kind and supportive as well. I communicated frequently with Park Place while I lived in the apartment and Renee was always incredibly responsive and professional. Maintenance was always done routinely and with appropriate notice given. I loved living in Clifton and had I not bought a house I certainly would have stayed longer!!

Fantastic experience: We stayed for one year at Campus Condos and had an excellent experience. The maintenance crew were all fantastic in making sure our apartment stayed in great shape! Renee in the office was always helpful and replied quickly to our messages. The location and price is hard to compete with. You are walking distance to all of oxford shopping and dining and a quick trip by foot, bus, or bike to campus. I’ve rented many places around the country but this was a truly great place to live. We left because we bought a house, otherwise we’d still be there! Thanks to all of the crew at Park Place!

Fantastic experience: Park Place is a great place to rent from! We lived in the campus condos for 3 years and the only reason we left was because we needed more space and there were no available non-student homes. We always had great experiences dealing with the staff, including when our building's power went out one night in the winter and they paid for us to stay at The Elms. Definitely recommend!

Negative experience: The staff is rude and unhelpful. Be prepared to pay $750 per person before renting any of their properties and don’t expect any snow or ice removal.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Oxford four years ago and starting renting from Park Place. Throughout the four years, they have been wonderful. Rarely did I need something repaired but when I did, they came quickly and fixed what was needed. The staff are wonderful to work with, super pleasant, and helpful!

Fantastic experience: I have lived in a Park Place house for 5 years in a somewhat older house. There have been several occasions where I've had to reach out to have appliances fixed, tiles replaced, leaks, windows, back deck fixes, etc. Tom and Renee and everyone at Park Place have always given extremely fast responses and made sure our issue was corrected painlessly. The lawn and hedges are taken care of consistently, to the point where we don't even notice when it happens. We are always notified if/when someone will be coming to fix/maintain the house. They take every issue seriously and handle it professionally. I have had several other landlords in the past, but none have provided the level of passive maintenance and responsive service that we have here. Live with Park Place.

Fantastic experience: I find the Park Place Real Estate team to be of very high character, and really care about their tenants and the quality of their properties. If you are a parent whose child is looking to live off campus at Miami, you can't do better than Park Place.

Maintenance problems were taken care of in a timely manner which is important to us. We also got a full refund on our deposit because I left the unit clean and in good shape. Totally worth the extra effort by cleaning the place and making it look nice after packing up on the last day. Thank you for taking care of us and our cute little duplex!

Negative experience: Ohh its the worst ever. I agree with Isuru. If you rent their apartments forget about deposit. They water and electric bills are rediculously high. If don't have a place to live sleep on the road but not this.

Negative experience: Do not use these people. They charge huge money for dumps, and then will not give you a dime back from your security deposit, even if you leave the property in way better shape than you got it. A total rip off.

Negative experience: Not an ethical company, they love to nickle and dime you for all you have. Don't ever expect to get a decent return from your security deposit because they will find some stupid ways to charge you. Such as $75 assembly fees for furniture they provided that you did not build. I highly recommend going with another company aroubd Oxford.

Positive experience: This company is so-so.... they have several properties, most are aimed at students which makes sense, they’re in a college town. The staff is just ok - make sure they get their coffee in the morning because if they don’t, they’ll hand you an eviction notice even though you already paid your rent. They’re very slow about getting things fixed and taken care of maintenance wise, and they treat you like you’re a burden - I understand you have a lot going on with students, but when we lived in one of their properties we went without any sort of airflow for nearly a month in he dead of summer while they waited on a new unit to be delivered.. I work at a hotel, it only takes a couple days, not weeks to deliver those things. Overall they’re not bad, but they’re not a good place to rent from.

Fantastic experience: I moved here sight-unseen from Colorado. All of the folks at Park Place worked with me to make the transition as smooth as possible and answered my many questions about Oxford. The Campus Condos community is quiet and my neighbors are very friendly. The few maintenance concerns I have had were taken care of quickly, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful when I reach out to them. I enjoy living here and would recommend this community to others!

Negative experience: Do not sign a lease through Park Place Real Estate. They do nothing to protect the lessees from unethical, greedy lessors. My son signed a lease for an apartment almost 2 years prior to moving in for a brand new building. We were excited that he would have a clean, safe place to spend his junior year. He moved in in August of 2016 and the building was completed the last week of October. Park Place claims that it was out of their control that there was no internet service when they moved in, yet I was able to have service installed within a week and a half. They still claim that all of the unfinished issues were out of their control, but they refuse to give me the name of the person in charge of ownership of the building. They will only give the name of the entity and an offer to forward a letter of complaint. I feel that that Park Place should act on behalf of the tenants and help to negotiate a rent concession, but they are only protecting the unscrupulous property owner. Deal at your own risk.
