Negative experience: Im writing this now because I have moved from Jamestown and now feel at distance enough to not be affected by small town nonsense.. I was in Jamestown on contract work 2yrs ago and was asked to extend my contract time there. I found a somewhat ok house through Bluefrog and went through the application. Once approved, I was hounded into paying the deposit to the point where I ran into one of the leasing agents at a Fred's in town, and she pushed me to 'lock it in asap.' Not thinking fully, I did. Biggest mistake ever. I paid $1500 through their online portal and thought I'd feel relief. I had several unanswered questions and figured any leasing office would make things right if they weren't ok before me moving in. The next day I called to ask about blinds for the windows (as there were none in the entire house) and securing the doors and windows since there were some visible gaps. All of this I only noticed after rewatching the video I had taken at our walk through. Not being from ND, I had a ton going on daily so I should have focused on this business transaction more but hindsight is 20/20. Eitherway, I was refused blinds or any additional repairs before move in and was told 'blinds at Menards are around $20.' Blinds for the whole house would have cost me rough $350 with sizes of the windows.. I checked. So, I found out my contract would not be extended and called the leasing office to retract my deposit being that I hadnt received keys and was 2wks from the move in date. I was adamantly denied. I was told 'you must not have read our lease. Its ironclad and literally death proof.' So after explaining my contract wouldn't be going forward they assured me, it didnt matter to them. I was told 'the only way out is if someone else signs a lease' I asked in that event would I get my deposit back. I was told no. Luckily some poor guy did sign a new lease but when I asked for the $1500 back because I literally never took possession of the property, they found it funny and I was told, 'our business is done.' After telling people around town, no one was surprised and I paid for a $1500 lesson. Its simply bad business to treat people this way.

Negative experience: Moved into one of their units around December 30th 2023 with only my clothes. My husband and I planned to start over with furniture so only bought a brand new mattress right away. Less than two weeks later I came home to roaches! My coworker at the time said her friend moved into a unit with bed bugs in another building . When I got to asking around my building they said roaches and rats had been an issue. It took them repeatedly coming in bc Robin refused to believe there were roaches, in fact her comment was “usually they live in cupboards,” USUALLY?? I wish I could say when I caught a roach on a sticky trap and brought it to their desk that they would have been like oh yeah, you’re right! NO, instead it was “well we don’t know if that actually came from your unit.” Don’t worry, we caught another one later on that morning, that’s when they said they could spray the unit. Mam I’m sorry but you need to do the whole dang building but they refused to do that. They were coming out of the walls in the bathroom! I turned the lights off and turned the shower on hot and there were so many it was easy to catch a new one. Anyways, the solution was they could move us, to where? A unit with bed bugs? I still have the videos and photos. Ended up having to rent a hotel for a month and a half which cost an arm and a leg. Anyways, they stopped answering the phones and no one was ever there if I went to the office. Rather than try to evict me so I could countersue they just sent me straight to collections. 3k later for 12 days….these landlords are exactly why I have to believe God is righteous and their karma will come.

Fantastic experience: Always willing to work with people when it's communicated. The ladies in the office are always kind and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Blu Frog has been wonderful to our family. We have had 2 of our kids rent apartments from Blufrog. Any issues that arose were always dealt with quickly and professionally. We also just recently purchased a house through BluFrog and had an amazing experience. It was stress free and Seamless. Huge thanks to Jen Dockter, our Realtor and Robin and Chastity for all their help and patience with the apartments we have rented! I would not hesitate one moment to reccommend this company to anyone!

Negative experience: Takes forever to get stuff done. Not good land lords at all. Lies about when you started telling them about issues. If you need non smoking apartments do not rent from them because they do not care. Over a month since I made this review and still no progress. Instead of fixing the problem they now ghost me every time I try to let them know issues.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience buying a house through BluFrog last fall. We were first-time home buyers and Chastity was extremely patient, knowledgeable and thorough with every step we had along the way. She was also a great resource for other things we needed once we were home owners. And after all was said and done, she went above and beyond to resolve some things we needed after we had already closed on the house. Thank you, Chastity! This review was long over-due.

Negative experience: Rented from several companies and this is by far the worst in every way.specified wanted a animal property. Brought animals. Got told it was a no animal property and they had to go as well.

Negative experience: If I could give this place 0 stars I would . First off, I would like to talk about how I moved away from my hometown for a new start to North Dakota not understanding that it is not a place for people of color. Jamestown North Dakota is a very small town where everyone knows everyone and the only rental property they have Blufrog. I’m an honest person and I always leave honest review simply because I want people who are jumping off to a new start to honestly know how things are without feeling like A bad review is a person who was angry. When I first moved there, everyone portrayed themselves As nice. There are only a few people in town So they will know exactly who you are When your name is spoken. I moved there alone and without family and had to have my mom move there because I did not trust them after while. When I was six months pregnant And had only been in the apartment for three months, which means that it was Inspected for safety concerns recently, Somehow My stove overhead exploded And the house almost caught fire with me and My oldest daughter in there. If it had not been to me waking up from the loud bang of the overhead falling We would be dead. It’s common sense that they Set that up purposely because it was a new apartment That “passed” inspection. Once I let the property manager know, all she told me was that she would have someone come fix it . No one apologized no one showed concern that me and my children Almost lost our lives. Simply, this place is a very wicked place if You are not like them. Also, It was time for me to move in A year with having all my rent paid no late payments, They told my potential landlord That I wasn’t a good tenant and when I called to ask them, why had they said that when we never had They claimed to have had me mixed up with a different in it. But I was there in town with My name and age in apartment address there was no way they could Have had me mistaken with anyone. Chastity, who is the property manager and Robin are horrible people because some things you just don’t do to people, but God sees all . You will be OK if you are Caucasian to live there. But if you are African-American or Mexican-American They will do things to torture you Without making it seem like they’re torturing you. It’s sad because we are all gods people and we all bleed the same, but they don’t seem to think that way there. If you are thinking about moving to Jamestown, North Dakota don’t. Especially if you don’t have family there In case something tragic happens. Attached are Photos and proof of the incident I mentioned above . As you can see no one apologized they just stated they will forward the message to Blufrog.

Negative experience: Blu frog management is a joke. When you call them for a problem, they will laugh at you and call you dude. They act like they are the best people to rent from. There customer service is horrible and whatever the problem is they will blame it on you, even if the problem is clearly not your fault. I would not recommend renting from them

She was able to replace the carpeting with linoleum which was something we really wanted done and she is also working on getting the shower head replaced with a new one since the current one is too short for myself and my roommate. Highly recommend renting from Blue Frog and making it your next place to live!

BluFrog treated me with fairness, compassion and never made me feel less than. They are a company that in my opinion has honesty and integrity. If you have a problem, be upfront and honest and they in turn will do the same. I had to move because of a life altering event and they couldn't have been more kind. I didn't even have to get upset about my deposit. They cared about me after my lease was up too. GO TO BLUFROG!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED. if I come back to Jamestown...no question...that's where I'll be. THANKS BLUFROG Tina
