Negative experience: I had purchased one of James Long's listings in May of this year. After being settled in for a few weeks, I've reached out to get a little information from him via text, knowing that as listing agent, he should be able to get it easily. After sending the polite request twice, I knew he had to be ignoring me, so I'm having to seek it some other way .. not sure how yet. This makes me glad that I did NOT use him as my buyer's agent and definitely not my agent to sell my house. EXP Realty is so much more professional.

Fantastic experience: Our realtor, Jenny, was absolutely amazing and helped us with the entire process even getting us a lender. She showed us many houses even at last minute notices. Whether you are new to home buying or well seasoned, I would recommend Remax to get you through the home buying process.

Negative experience: I rented out a storage unit from them and had 2 breaks in. All my stuff got stolen.

Negative experience: Had been Refereed to the main Agent with this Group who then passed me off to another subordinate agent. Witch briefly made contact with me by phone. I provided my search parameters and shared a few examples and then waited for over a week for any contact. I had set aside a whole week to look at property's. I returned an email today only to be told they dont normally handle the property's I am interested in. He indicated he didn't have time for me and would pass me off to another agent in the group. When I asked for a showing a week in advance he replied in a manner that I wouldn't have time to look at the property. This was terrible an unproductive circumstance and as a disabled Veteran I dont need this sort of interaction with an ineffective realtor Group. Out of Courtesy I did not name the individuals specifically. Response from the realtor: "I was trying to be polite and explain that I am not a residential agent and really don't focus much on houses coming available or looking out for ones you may be interested in, so was going to set you up with an agent who may be more available and helpful in your search. I'm not sure why you have been passed around by 4 other agents, although I could take a guess judging by your last message. But either way, that is not my doing, nor is it a reason to be rude. I've worked with hundreds of buyers and sellers and have never once had a bad review or negative feedback, so I'm extremely confident my customer service is not the issue here. Good luck in your search."

He went out of his way to meet with us quickly to see some homes we were interested in. After that first meeting he had an idea of what both my husband and I liked and disliked, and the following week he had more homes for us to look at-one of them being our home now! After a very smooth process, we closed on time in 45 days! Phillip made sure to accommodate us on times to meet & sign, and was very quick to respond to our questions. Thank you, Phillip!

Negative experience: Very rude customer service by the lady at the front desk! Didn't realize our credit card company thought it was a fraud charge so they stopped the auto pay. We never received a call or anything until we were almost 2 months late! When my husband asked why they didn't call us she was short and rude, saying your lucky you got any notice at all!

Negative experience: Don't rent a storage from them because they get broke into alot and they don't care at all. Mine was broken into twice in 1 1/2 months.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with Phillip and Tasha Smith! As first time home buyers, we needed a lot of guidance. Phillip and Tasha were very patient and understanding and they helped us through a number of hurtles that we encountered in trying to purchase our home. We were able to count on them every step of the way and I honestly believe that we wouldn't have gotten into our home without them!

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience renting and then buying through Remax Truman Lake!! We would highly recommend using Tasha Smith and her Husband Phillip Smith as your realtors. They are an incredible team. They go way above and beyond in trying to find just the right house and were super welcoming. We were new to the area and they helped us with getting to know the area and we now consider them to be great friends!! They are not at all pushy and are very honest and open about neighborhoods and the good and bad of each house. Together they offer great incite into what the going value of a house should be and give honest input into costs of needed repairs or upgrades to houses. Rather than hiding issues to get us into a place quickly, they pointed out the "problem issues" at houses and gave real estimates on what repairs would cost. They were great negotiators as well. I would send any of my family members to them to buy or sell with if they were to move to the area. Give them a call. You won't regret it!!

Negative experience: Allen Kidwiler happened to be our landlord until he sold the house to an elderly couple. He DID NOT tell us about the selling of the house nor did he advertise the house for sale. As a matter of fact, Allan REFUSED to tell us that he sold the house, according to the new owners. Very unprofessional.

Even after closing he still checked up on us to make sure everything was still doing good. Everyone was extremely nice and chuck is just as awesome as Phillip. They both made sure we where taken care of and made sure that the few repairs that where needed got done properly. Would definitely recommend over and over again.

Negative experience: Updated review on John Hill of Remax John Hill offered to be my buyer's agent for a home he was selling. The home required some repairs for the contract to go through. Mr. Hill made me use his repair people which I did not want to do and found out later Mr. Hill wasn't allowed to force me to use his repair people. His repair people did the bare minimum for triple the money. They were very sloppy and unprofessional. They forgot to do some repairs and some of the repairs they managed to do were already coming undone by the time I moved in a couple weeks later. Mr. Hill knew I was unhappy with all repairs and lies he had told me to sell the home, so he had me sign a contract stating he was only the seller's agent and neglected to go over that with me. I do take responsibility in the fact that I trusted a real estate agent with my well being while I lived 20 hours away. I moved in to a house that was in worse condition then when I looked at it 4 months prior. Mr. Hill knew I was going to have no choice but to move in to the home no matter what the condition. Mr. Hill was not at all held responsible for his wrong doings because of the way he did the contract. If you use John Hill have a third party, go over the paperwork with you or he will take advantage of you. He took complete advantage of me as a first-time home buyer and someone who lived out of state. He knew I couldn't inspect the houses progress as it went on, so he knew he could feed me the lies he fed me. DO NOT let him be both the buyer and the seller’s agent, bring your own agent if he is selling the home. I would also get everything you talk about with Mr. Hill in writing. He will try everything to avoid putting your conversations in writing, so he won’t be held responsible for what he says and does. Remax not only condones this kind of behavior, they defend it. Be very careful if you work with this agent or company.

Negative experience: Our lock was cut off our storage unit 4 times in a year. The first time the woman literally laughed about it. Every other time she was as rude and non caring.
