Negative experience: the very unprofessional woman that works at the front desk in Conway on 4th Ave is extremely snippy from the get go and rude with her remarks~ she acted as if she owned the business… I went in with a questions about the neighbors (Ray Realty rents to) running a car business out of their garage and parking 8-10 cars and trucks along with 3-4 boats attached to some of these trucks all up and down the street~ sometimes over night… EVERY and I mean EVER FRIDAY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY these several cars~ trucks and boats meet at this home all hours of the day and leave all hours of the night… she asked me their names (which obviously I have no idea) but told her they were young college age… she then called me a liar and said the house was rented to ONLY 2 people that were older than college age… I called her out telling her I see them every day and there are more than 2 people that live in the house and they ARE ALL COLLEGE AGE young kids… not saying they go to school just saying they are ALL very young (not that that even matters)… several neighbors have been to Rays Realty to address the same concerns as myself… the constant noise from the cars being worked on in the garage all hours of the day when we live in a residential neighborhood with an HOA is unexceptionable~ with or without and HOA businesses like this should not be ran out of residential homes…. Ray Realty definitely has no concerns for the home owners that unfortunately have no control when a neighbors house is sold and rented out to renters that don’t care about their neighbors… I just want to make it clear that renters are ok as long as they respect the other people and homes around them…. we are asking Ray Realty nicely to take care of this problem~ they know the address…

Fantastic experience: I moved in one of ray realty rental properties in January 2026. It was the quickest process ever. Everyone was so kind, friendly and helpful with all my needs. If you need a place to rent contact ray realty you definitely won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I was so fortunate to have had such an exemplary realty company as Ray Realty for the past year. Their communication is wonderful and they are always there for their renters. I was lucky enough to deal with Jane, and I can't say enough about her. She truly went out of her way to help me in any way she could. There aren't enough words to describe how amazing she is. They initially found the property I purchased, and have since rented to tenants using them as property managers. They've done a terrific job at all times. Jane Miller in particular has been special in communication, investigation, and following thru at all times needed. Ray Realty has been the best in my years of experience in real estate.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been using Ray Realty for almost a year now, renting out our house in Conway. They found us a stellar tenant who takes care of our property, and we can rest easy that Jane and the staff at Ray Realty will handle any issues that pop up.

Fantastic experience: We live a few hours from our rental in Conway. When we put it up for rent 9 years ago, we knew we couldn't handle the job from this distance. We listed it with Ray Realty and never regretted it for a moment. They thoroughly vet the potential tenants and are prompt when dealing with maintenance issues. With many contacts in the service industry, they always call the right person for the job. I heartily recommend them.

Negative experience: My husband used this company for property management on a brand new manufactured home we purchased in August of 2024. They ended up finding us a renter in Oct of 2024 which was great but unfortunately the renter passed away in Jan of 2025. The only people that had access to the home were the renter, Ray Realty and the renters family after he had passed. We decided to move into the home in June of 2025 and upon moving our things in we found 3 areas on the vinyl floor where it was ripped up and the subfloor was showing. The rips ranged from 2-6 inches in length. Now we figure this either happened when the tenant was moving in or when the family was moving his items out. Ray realty swears they did a final walkthrough of the home, however, the floor was never mentioned nor do we have pictures of a final walkthrough being done. Once we were settled into our home we called them and they told us they weren’t able to help us because “they didn’t know who else had access to the home once the renter was out”. Considering the renters items were out by March and we lived out of state and didn’t move into the house until June, I would say it’s pretty obvious no one else was in the house during that time. It’s clear they don’t care about landlords and by other reviews it’s obvious they don’t care about renters either. Not to mention Jane is terrible with communication, she has since blocked me on Facebook. Anyways, I’d advise against using them as property management since they’re clearly unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Very honest dependable and trustworthy staff.

Negative experience: ILLEGAL DISCRIMINATION AGAINST THOSE WITH SERVICE ANIMALS. I gave them the full info ADA and Fair Housing requires for me to provide to a landlord and they illegally stated that I had to fill out a third party websites forms (I do not have to when I have had my doctor provide the info). I applied, sent the deposit and Mr. Ray reversed my deposit and said to rent somewhere else when I provided the required documentation through my doctor which is legally protected. I'm turning this into ADA and Fair Housing. And there is a woman there who was beyond rude. Beyond. Not ok.

Fantastic experience: I have known these folks for over 50 years - they have always been a leader in the rental market and in the community. From the owner to the staff, they are exceptional to work it.

Fantastic experience: Jane at Ray Realty is absolutely the best! All staff is great but always worked with Jane. Always willing to help and accommodate needs whenever possible. We stayed in our home for over a year till we found the house we wanted to purchase. Closing on the home got extended and Jane made sure we could stay in our rental til we got moved , even though we had already set a date we would be out and ended the lease. If you’re in the market to rent a home call Ray Realty and ask for Jane.

We recently moved in two months ago, and they already coordinated with the homeowner to arrange delivery of a fridge to replace the one we had which continued to break. They’ve been very quick with responding to service requests also. We’ve had a great experience with them so far! Best landlord experience with 12 years rental history!

She helped my wife and I choose a neighborhood that fit our wants and needs and helped us rent an amazing house. They were the most helpful we could have ever hoped for. I highly recommend.

When my brother passed away, I took over as executor of his estate and have been happy with the service Ray Realty's team has provided. Jane has kept me promptly informed of any issues that have come up and she has been extremely helpful throughout this difficult situation. She even sent me pictures of one of the homes after it was painted inside for a new tenant since I am not local. I would highly recommend this company.

Willing to work around my schedule for visits if possible, the grass is cut every week, and the apartment itself is affordable as well as spacious. Very calm and peaceful community of apartments. Jane was fantastic from the touring and application process, and Ms. Sherry helped us through the leasing process as well. We are thrilled to be in such a nice single family home, and appreciate the work the team did to make it as easy and stress-free as possible!

Positive experience: We had a really nice experience . The office ladies were very kind and helpful. The yard was not taken care of before move in, but Jane the property manager took of it immediately. So far we really like the rental .

We stayed in a brand new build rental home, hence we did not have issues with brand new appliances, etc. They are prompt at answering questions via phone or email when we did have them. Their customer service is goes above and beyond. Polite front desk staff is always a pleasure to talk to. We spent almost 2 years in this home on Burroughs Street and loved every minute of it. Close to all sorts of activities and restaurants in downtown Conway. Great neighbors on all sides! We have since purchased and moved into our own home. But Ray Realty is worth renting from! S. Negative experience: One of the rudest realtors I have ever met very disrespectful. I will never work with these people again and they will never be allowed in my home again. If they ever come back I will have them arrested for trespassing, never never will I recommend these people for any kind of reality work!!!!

Fantastic experience: Ashley Bercovici - Ms. Bercovici did rent from us. Upon vacating as she admits in her post she left the oven dirty and did not sweep the porches in addition to a number of other items. We did retain $125 of the deposit to take care of these items. She agreed to provide photos for my review which she has failed to do. She filed a complaint with the BBB who failed to find in her favor.. If Ms. Bercovici does not remove this review i will take legal action and require her to appear in court to prove these baseless allegations.Charley Ray

Negative experience: Renting from Ray Realty was the worst renting experiences that I have ever had. I have lived in Easthampton, MA, Boston, MA, Burlington, VT, and Conway, SC in 7 total apartments/houses and have never had the kind of issues I had while renting from Ray Realty. We lived in our Conway home for two years and experienced all of the things the other reviewers experienced (non-response to our issues [including frozen pipes twice], shoddy repair people coming to complete work, and a dirty rental at the time of our moving in. All of these things were things we were willing to tolerate, however, that is until we moved out. We gave our month's notice, requested a walk-though with us of the property (which went unanswered), left our house immaculate, and moved out. After calling myself to confirm with Bonnie Grice that everything was left pristine, she had a few complaints about the property (dirty stove pans and oven, an untrimmed bush and tree undergrowth???, and unswept porch), which I explained I had forgotten to clean inside the oven and sweep the porch, but the other things were left in the same / better condition then when we moved in. All she said was, "Well, ok.." and that was the end of the conversation. Until we received our security deposit refund check which they kept $125 from!! I was livid so I called and left her a message. Of course she didn't bother calling me back. I called again the next day 5 minutes after they opened the office and spoke with her. To sum up what proves to be a very long story... this property company is a fancy slum lord. They will not maintain your property, and they will steal your money when you move out. I am currently FIGHTING for our $125 back because these allegations are absolutely ridiculous and I have photographic proof that the condition we left it in was the condition we received it in. HOWEVER, DO NOT RENT from Ray Realty. They run a racket and a monopoly on all the properties in the greater Conway, SC area, but do what you can to find someone else to rent from. This was the worst experience I have had the misery to encounter.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I were looking for a rental in the mainland area and were unable to find any after almost two days. I happened to tell someone about this difficulty, and he said that he and his family ran into the same issue, but Ray Realty was recommended to him and they had helped. Ray Realty wase able to get us into a nice house within a day. Very pleased with their service.

Negative experience: Do not rent from this company. I assure you that when you sign the contract everyone is nice but things are not always what they appear. I was warned about them in advance by one lady but I spoke with another lady that said "those are just people that don't pay their rent on time that don't like it here." THAT WAS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. I paid on time but they stll wouldn't fix anything.My toilet stopped working and it took a few days for them to fix it. My faucet was broken they patched it. The ceiling was leaking they did shoddy work when they got to it by the looks of it when I left it will be leaking again soon. I came to the conclusion that the people don't pay on time because they don't fix on time. I found out lots of other things while going to make monthly payments. I spoke with one tenant that said when they opened the dishwasher the door fell on the floor. It wasn't even on. YIKES!!! Another tenant had a sewage problem. The only reason I stayed was because I didnt want an eviction on my record. But take it from me lesson learned. They asked if I wanted to continue my lease I politely said NO. We found another home and our landlords have been GREAT SO FAR. My advice: always check reviews when renting from a company and if you can speak with tenants. I could have saved myself alot of trouble if I had just listened to the first lady. Also another clue I should have picked up on was the fact that alot of their homes kept reappearing with their signs in the yard beforehand. I kept saying maybe they were just bad tenants. But NO they are just terrible landlords. I should have known that something WAS NOT RIGHT. MAN OH MAN WAS I STUUUUPPPIDD!!!!!
