Negative experience: Company does not maintain their properties, per their lease. Their property is very ran down. They claim they just ‘remodeled’, but it is horrible repairs. They use left over material from other rentals that do not work properly in your rental. (ceiling paint was used on the walls, closet rods screwed into the Sheetrock and not anchored, never provided working keys to the back door, the list goes on and on. After waiting months for a hole in the window to be repaired and the A/C properly repaired, I got a message back that ‘AC isn’t a requirement in Missouri’. I scheduled a conference to meet with the owner, Tammy Dawson, and she sat in the window eating with another lady and the front door locked. SHE requested I schedule that meeting and then pulled that. To top it off, they refused to return my deposits after they forced my 2 minor children and myself out of the home because it was causing major medical issues! STAY AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL COMPANY, if you are looking for a decent home to reside in with landlords who follow their own lease!

Fantastic experience: When I had issues with my air conditioning that unfortunately was going to be more complicated than originally thought, a portable air conditioner was provided until the issue gets fixed. At first I thought it wasn’t ideal, but now I feel it was a good solution to a temporary problem.

Fantastic experience: We had been without hot water for the second day. Once I contacted PPMG Correy arrived within a few hours was professional and quick to find the issue. He left to get the part and promptly returned and we have hot water again!!! Thanks for the quick response and job well done!

Negative experience: Put in a maintenance request almost a week ago to fix my fridge & freezer & nobody has come by to even look at it! Now my food is going bad & I still can’t get a hold of anyone from maintenance or management.

Negative experience: Severely underwhelmed and beyond annoyed with this company. They took over the apartments I was living in and since day one they have been awful. The added a water bill, service fee and no longer spray for bugs. Communication on their end is practically nonexistent. I had serval issues with them and it took them weeks to fix any issues. And moving out was an absolute nightmare. It shouldn’t take a month to hear back about trying to move out, especially since I called and emailed multiple times. Pets are NOT allowed although the manager has two dogs and lets them bark outside all the time. This company is greedy and trashy and they single-handedly have ruined a good apartment complex. Beyond disappointed with them. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Negative experience: This company is a complete joke, in what world is it okay for the apartment manger allowed to have TWO dogs when the rest of us aren’t even allowed to have something as simple as fish?? They tried to put up “privacy” material on their balcony so the dogs wouldn’t be easily noticeable but everyone can still see them and they’re constantly outside barking. Absolutely not acceptable, if PAYING tenants aren’t allowed any type of animal then the manager should be required to follow the same rules and expectations. Extremely disappointed with this company.

Negative experience: Ridiculous time management with the most asinine work ethic and no consideration of the people that live at the homes they work on. Took 4 days to do one window and didn’t leave my house until past 10pm got there at 630pm was suppose to be there 5pm.

Negative experience: When we first started renting our current apartment (duplex) we were managed through Martin Management here in Sedalia. About 5 months into our lease the homeowner decided to switch to Pioneer. These people are the worst people I have ever had to deal with when renting. They do not care if something in your house is broken, they won't fix it. Our heater broke, in December, and was not fixed until mid February. This company is absolutely horrible and will not help you if they can avoid it. 0/10. Do not recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: You were great when you managed the property! New management is awful. Take your money, don’t change locks when you’ve had someone sneaking into your apartment, let the heat go out on the coldest nights of the year… (which they offered not even an apology) Miss you guys!

Fantastic experience: I have been dealing with PPMG for about 6 months now and my family and i are pleased with our home ( for the most part). When dealing with an issue the one bright spot has been the support we have gotten from a PPMG Rep named Crystal. She reaches out to us about our concerns in a very professional manner; then stays on top of Vendors (doing the repairs) all while getting back with us to make sure we are pleased with the work. Crystal is definitely an employee who should be cherished by the company. Along with David and Jessica the PPMG Tean is enhanced by their presence. These 3 employees do whatever is needed to satisfy their residents. Kudos to Crystal and the others for going above and beyond!

Negative experience: These people will absolutely take advantage of you. Our closing date got moved several times due to them not finishing the house we decided on. We tried to back out and they said we could be sued because it was so close to our closing date. So us being young and not knowing anything about this, we had to settle for the house. I’ve heard from multiple people that this company is an issue. We had our washer and dryer delivered 3 days after moving in and lowes said our dryer vent was too small so I went to the basement to find the dryer vent was vented into the old chimney running through the house instead of the outside wall 6 foot away. This company cuts corners. The paint looks horrible. Our walls look horrible. Our front door doesn’t even latch. They took all of our gutters off the house and didn’t replace them. There is a hole in the roof of our garage and they left it uncovered and unfixed so now the roof is rotten as well as the back wall. Don’t ever go through this company.EDIT* We now have no heat in our newly renovated house We also just had to replace our hot water heater element in a “brand new hot water heater” as you can tell these people are well trusted. Now we await our next problem.EDIT* 2/3/2022 The time has come, we have our next problem. Our roof is leaking in our pantry, where they covered it entirely with shiplap

Negative experience: As far as I know, it is illegal to turn the heat off in under 30° weather. Well, it happened... For 2 very cold nights. No notice with the new property manager either. COURT IS A POSSIBILITY.
