Fantastic experience: I have been working with Jerome for 4 years. Purchased 4 units in that time. He is always very professional, providing excellent information and negotiating a good deal for me. He has been a great property manager, displaying good renter vetting and staying on top of any maintenance and repair issues that arise. His response time is excellent even when he is out of town or sick. I think he may have his cell phone surgically installed as he is always reachable. Positive experience: Jerome helped me with the sale of my home. The experience had with Jerome was mixed. He is incredibly kind, professional, and easy to talk to. He went out of his way to drive over to meet with each of us individually in the evening before closing, as we were going through a divorce at the time so he needed both our signatures which was much more convenient than us having to both show up during our work day to sign the papers at the end. However, some of the communication was poor. For example, posting the listing of the home at a higher price than discussed without giving any heads up or approval from us. His communication with us throughout the process and what would be expected of us could have been more proactive - for example, we weren't sure our role in closing (did we need to be there? how would we get the money?) and we had to make sure to ask these questions of him, rather than him keeping us informed along the way. At the end of the day, he did help us get an offer above and beyond what we were expecting to get for the house.

Buying a home is stressful no matter what, especially in the 2021 market, but Jerome made the process less so. (Realtors I've worked with in the past have had the opposite effect.) Fantastic experience: Jerome insists we weren’t hard to please, but I am pretty sure we were. We ran him all over Benton and Iowa counties so that we could zoom tour houses. It wasn’t only COVID, but we were buying from Colorado. Jerome worked hard to understand what we were looking for and did a great job of finding good prospective homes for us. Professional, organized, and friendly are all adjectives we would use for Jerome, perhaps including long suffering in our case. Since we were looking for a place with possibilities rather than one that was all done we drew on Jerome’s experience in updating properties as we formulated our bids. After being outbid on two earlier properties, we scored our hilltop acreage. Jerome insured that the closing went perfectly. We have nothing but high marks for him in every area.

Right away he was super informative of the house we were seeing, answered all of our questions and even took some notes of what exactly we were looking for so he could send us more options - this impressed us right away.
