Negative experience: Unfortunately I had a very negative experience with an agent from this brokerage when I requested a tour off zillow. I was assigned this agent and things did not go well at all. After telling the agent how I felt they were rude, terrible at communication, and they were now borderline harassing me...they then hours later bothered me again via text to continue the problem. The professionalism is definitely not there and I think a huge lack of maturity on the agents part. I had to block the agent.

Negative experience: I question the knowledge and/or integrity of the Deeter Real Estate agent (G. Lunsford) who was the selling agent in a recent real estate transaction where I was the buyer. The MLS pictured and listed a "garage" (apparently in the form of a metal carport/shelter). However the sellers removed the carport/shelter from the property prior to closing. When my realtor inquired about it and informed Deeter that the carport should transfer with the property since it was not listed as an exclusion in the signed, legally binding contract, Mr. Lunsford informed my agent that it was listed in the MLS as an exclusion. Why then list "garage" as a feature of the property and include a picture specifically/solely of the carport/shelter? Aside from that, the MLS is not a binding agreement. A contract is and the agent/seller did not list the carport/shelter in the contract as an exclusion. Mr. Lunsford (and the sellers), in my opinion, lacked the character and integrity to manage the situation properly; with honor. It was very disappointing and I felt cheated out of/robbed of something that I expected (based on the contract) to transfer with the house and that will cost $1600+ to replace. Also I imagine Mr. Lunsford had some level of conversation with the sellers about the disclosure statement. Yet the sellers did not disclose 3 notable things about the property/house that I feel confident they were aware of and that were apparent to me within a week or 2 of moving in. Lastly, before closing, Mr Lunsford told me and my realtor that the grandmother/granddaughter neighbors next to the house were nice/good people. Yet within the first week of me moving in, the sheriff was out at their home a couple of times and patrolled our street regularly; sometimes parking and sitting across the street. Two different neighbors told me about drug related arrests and complaints against these neighbors or someone living with them (damaging and stealing gas out of the one neighbor's van and the granddaughter or one of their female guests having a drug induced episode on the other neighbor's front lawn which the neighbor told me was recorded by their security system). So I don't think Mr. Lunsford should ever comment on communities that he has never lived in nor neighbors he has never lived next to. I would never do business with Deeter as a seller or buyer. And the next time I am in the market for a house, if a Deeter agent is the selling agent, I will not even consider the house. This company is not trustworthy and has no honor in my opinion based on my dealings with them.

Fantastic experience: Very nice and helpful.

Negative experience: Having never bought a house with a septic tank we were unaware of what to look for when it came to “red flags” with septic tanks and permits. We used a realtor with this company that allowed us to go all the way through purchasing the house knowing it was only permitted for a 2 bedroom house but we bought it as a 3 bedroom house. I will say on the paperwork we signed it did say septic permit for 2 bedroom but before goin through the issues we are now going through I had no idea that it meant it would only support 2 bedrooms and not anymore. We purchased the house and started have septic issues but I kept making excuses because it was an older house. Eventually we found out the septic system couldn’t handle that of the 3 bedroom and it was failing which led us to having to tie in city sewer (costs $12,000 for everything hooking up to city). After speaking with a listing agent because we want to sell the house now before spending the $12,000 they tell me they can’t list the house as 3 bedroom because the permit only allows 2. Questions then start arising with how did we purchase this house to begin with because it was listed as 3 bedroom when we bought it. Come to find out the proper instructions and guidance wasn’t given by our realtor. We were not made aware that it is not legal to list a house with more bedrooms that the septic permit allows. This is something that could have been caught by our realtor but was over looked and now we stand the chance of losing value in our house because of this mistake. Just be careful when getting a house with septic and make sure you understand exactly what the septic permit means. We use a realtor to help us give advice, knowledge and reliability when it comes to buying a house because there is a lot we don’t know and we expect them to catch things like this. Unfortunately this is about to be a very costly lesson learned that we will triple check all permits and inspections when getting another house.

Fantastic experience: I love the agent on site. I went through my rental process with Karen and she's great! I've been rent through Deeter Real Estate for about 5 months now. They actually have the best prices for rent out of all of the local Real Estate place around here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Negative experience: This property management company only wants to collect money and make sure the homeowners are happy so they can keep the rental unit. They don’t care anything about the renter. Would never recommend them to anyone

Negative experience: I did not have a good experience with the buyer’s agent. Took 3 months to close, did not communicate information without being asked. When called the office to complain, complaint went no where. Would never recommend this agent to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Jenna Burleson was amazing to work with! Always available when I had any questions. This was my first time buying a home and she made it so painless. She went above and beyond for me even working around my crazy schedule. I am so thankful for the hardworking realtor she is.
