Fantastic experience: I was purchasing my first home and did plenty of research about buying a home and was very nervous about the process and the stress involved, but Dave Patai especially, made the process very smooth and it was so much easier than I expected. I kept wondering when it was going to get stressful like everyone said it would be and it never happened. Dave contacted me many times throught the loan process to see if I had questions or to explain next steps. He was very easy to talk to. I never felt like I was burdening him when I called with my silly questions. He picked up the phone or called me back right away. I know it took a team of people to process my loan but Dave was front and center through all of it and I really appreciated that. I kept imaging the process was going to be worse than buying a car and I kept preparing myself for it, but it never happened. Negative experience: I've waited some time since the purchase of my home to give an honest opinion. That being said, like all companies, they try to sell you aggressively on using Howard Hanna Morgate. I heard, if you don't use them, you won't close this deal. My realitor mentioned this roughly 6 times in a two day period. At that point I should have walked. At no point did I feel like my agent had my best interest in mind. After closing and securing the keys, I did a walk through of my new home. During this time , I noticed several things missing that were included in the contract. After contacting my agent, I was told they would write the seller but little could be done. This was Followed by my agent telling me to contact the seller direct. Isn't this what you get paid to do?? So, I called Howard Hannah corporate and several weeks later still no returned call. Clearly, once the deal is done so are they!! I definitely will never use this company again. Just my personal experience maybe yours will be better.

Negative experience: This is not a place a first time homebuyer should look to. Dave the loan officer is not that experienced with help first time homebuyers.

Fantastic experience: Dave was very helpful and informative throught the entire home buying process. The thing I valued most was his ability to be available after normal office hours. I work night shift and it helped me to have my questions answered when the time worked for me. I would recommend Dave to anybody going through the process of buying a home.

Negative experience: Buyers beware!!!! Make sure you read every single letter of your contract/mortgage. Howard Hanna will not disclose very crucial aspects of your contract. For instance property taxes. We were not informed that the previous owner of our home was on the homestead act. Therefore our taxes doubled our first year and quadrupled over 5 years. They are very unprofessional and if they are selling you one of their houses they will make sure they sell it to you no matter what. Also we found out from neighbors that 2 people died in the home and 1 of which rotted in our now living room for 3 days before he was found. Also no disclosed to us. I really wish I could have given zero stars.

Negative experience: If I could rate negative stars I would....A group of lazy,self serving GREEDY individuals .These jokers make car salesmen look like saints. The showing service they employ are even worse.6 calls in an hr....Bullying is frowned upon in today's society ....GET A CLUE ....
