Negative experience: Rumor has it this Coldwell Banker JH office has been pushing local businessmen like Mr. Overstreet and others for some time to sell some of their properties. Wish we had known that before contacting them. That being said, buyer/seller be warned-if you are thinking of using this group-Don't-especially Jacki Hill or anyone named Hill for that matter. Jacki Hill did not listen, has no attn to detail, busy pushing other services like Pelican storage (Jacki owns), Steve Logan First Choice Lending Service (bf of daughter - their corporate agent), dumpster service, etc. Even after you do what they suggest they will make you feel you work for them not the other way around. Jacki Hill did not even put a key box on our door, insisted we leave property completely for a viewing on day one. What was unknown to her was we were next door with our drone, building security was left on showing the one person we clearly stated was not allowed onto our property let alone into our home. We kept all interaction recordings/videos/pics/texts w/this group. Per the suggestion of Jacki Hill via email the next day, contract was closed-fees waived so they know they got caught. Knowing them they will respond negatively to this truthfull review. What can I say, truth hurts when it is recorded-knowledge is power when it comes to your hard earned money.

Negative experience: Didn’t even get the opportunity to rent from this company.. Teresa Davis called on Friday to make an appointment for Monday at 4pm with me. My partner and I drove an hour from Knoxville after a long weekend trip to NC just to view this property. Showed up at 3:45 and waited until 4:15 just for her not to show, didn’t answer Zillow messages, no phone calls, etc. Very unprofessional and unorganized. It is already stressful trying to find a place to move and people like Teresa do not make it any easier…

Negative experience: I rented a house from Jim Henry Property Management for a little over two years. My experience wasn’t terrible but they do not make repairs to their rental properties. I made plenty of comments to the agency regarding things that needed repair. The gutters, the toilet, the sewer system backing up, carpet missing in one of the closets, HVAC system acting erratically. They ignored every request that I made regarding the issues I had. I did move out early because of a home purchase, they pro-rated my deposit regarding “damages” I done to the rental property not because of moving out early. The damages described to me were damages done by the previous tenants (soiled/stained carpets, paint chipping, scratching on walls and outside door frames.) They do quarterly inspections and every time they did an inspection I was told the property looked good and that I was doing a good job maintaining the property. I would not rent a property from this agency again unless I was in desperate need. If you choose this agency to obtain a rental from or have them manage your property just know they will not maintain their side of their agreement and allow the property to fall into disrepair. I done a lot of different little work to the home including door repair, patching walls because of previous patch work falling into the wall, cleaning the carpets with professional equipment and personal. I tried to leave the home in better state than I began my rental agreement in but they are greedy and do not want to give anybody any deposits back because they are in the business of making money not giving it back.

Fantastic experience: I've seen Makayla work first hand, she is devoted to helping her clients find their perfect home that's right for them, she goes above and beyond and also looks out for their best interest. She is a amazing young woman, new to this business and determined to succeed as a realtor!

Kathy May-Martin puts you first and is genuinely a super star in her field. You can rest assured that she will go above and beyond to make certain her client is happy during the process, answering any and all questions that may arise, and most importantly satisfied with the outcome. Negative experience: I do not recommend using the property management for renting. I leased a condo for 9 years. When I moved I was lied to and gave the run around about my deposit. To receive a bill for more than my deposit was for to cover so called damages. After 9 years it would be considered wear and tear, but not when it means they have to pay deposit back. Very unprofessional and I don't appreciate the lies.

Teresa was top notch. She kept us updated on rentals coming up. We found our place and love it! Teresa and Jensen made the process so easy. Teresa is very kind and respectful but understandably makes it clear to pay on time. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else because she is the best! Thank you Teresa and Jensen for finding a beautiful place! It already feels like home even though we have more to do.

We came from renting off of Asset in oak ridge to JHPM and it’s was night and day! She’s always right on top of issues in a very timely manner. Because of the profile she took, she was able to quickly point us in the direction of what ultimately became our home. She took personal interest. Understood our wants and needs. Helped us connect with prospective lenders. And because of her knowledge as a long time resident of the area, she connected us to the right house in the right neighborhood. We are grateful for Natalie and the experience we had as we relocated to the greater Chattanooga area.

Fantastic experience: First time home buyers: We started house hunting last summer will Billie Goldston at Coldwell Banker. She was wonderful to work with. Very willing to show houses whenever we needed her. She was constantly sending houses through email to look at and was able to keep us up to date on what was coming to the market . We didn’t buy last summer but we started looking again this year and she immediately got to work on showing houses for us. Once we found the house we wanted she worked hard to help us get the house and kept us in the loop throughout the entire house buying process. She even was able to give good recommendations for inspectors to use . Billie is fun, happy, and sociable but most important she took her job seriously and really wants to help you find the house you want. Thank you so much to Billie and the team at Coldwell Banker for helping us get our first home!

Negative experience: Very disappointed. They posted a rental available on FB marketplace. Messaged them, no response. Called next business day, was told they could email me an app as I am not local and I'm trying to relocate. Did not receive (and yes, I checked spam and promotions folders) called back 2 hours later and was told they already had a completed application from someone in person. I was welcome to submit an application and pay the fee to be next in line. She said she would send the application again. I still have not received an application. I hope this company is better at responding to house purchase offers than house rentals.

Negative experience: Don't rent from these slumlords. Unless something is literally ON FIRE (in which case, call the fire department) they will never ever fix anything, they just string you along until you give up. Their attitude is, tenants are dirtbags and deserve contempt.

Negative experience: I wish I didn't have to write this. I used this company for 4 years while I lived out of state for my rental properties as a property management co. Property managers can make or break a small landlord, at the end of the 4 years I was upside down. Shoddy work, empty units. Then when I went to fire them they gave me handwritten bills with no proof of work done. My tenants deserve to live in a nice place. I have so much work to do to repair these buildings. Very unprofessional company.

Negative experience: Contacted property manager listed on a rental by phone, left message, email, other messages thru rental site. She did not respond. I had to call the office and ask for someone that could show me the property. Makbe they are busy......good to busy, though. Maybe they don't like rentals.

Negative experience: The agent will not show properties on the weekend nor does he add pictures to the listing (except a frontal view of the home). I believe he is more concerned about his convenience than the homeowner whose house he is listing and the prospective customers that would like to rent the house.

Negative experience: These "Christians" are slumlords - don't rent from them! Apartments are roach infested, unsafe, run-down, and constantly in disrepair. It takes months to get anything fixed (and then it's done badly.) They violate your lease terms. They treat you like scum for being a renter. Just stay away.

Negative experience: I just moved into a home through the property management side and I am in no way satisfied with my experience thus far. I was told the house would be "move in ready" by March 1st. March gets here and I have to move in and the walls in the house were never touched. There is stuff all over the walls in every room. In fact I believe the only thing that was done was the carpet cleaned. I've had to remove dead bugs from the cabinets in order to put my stuff up. Most of the lights were burnt out. Over all I am not happy with the shape of the house. Office staff is wonderful but the way the house was left " move in ready" is sad. I would think will all the money I had to put down that the house would of actually been ready for move in.
