Fantastic experience: When my dad died, the house he left me was a huge mess. Dan worked with me and my brother on a complicated remodeling venture and got it done really fast and professionally and then turned around and sold it. Dan is so knowledgeable about the market and knew how to guide us every step of the way with all the problems we had with various potential buyers, helping us avoid someone who was probably fraudulent, helping us navigate sticky situations with the buyers' lenders, all of it. He's an expert negotiator as well and worked really hard to get us the best deal possible and I'm really impressed with the outcome, where we ended up getting a much better price than I would have thought possible! And he was so professional and outstandingly upright about the whole process. We are now in the middle of selling a second house with him and again he's so good at helping us navigate pitfalls, and he also does it with a total spirit of service and deference, always leaving the choices up to us and just offering really solid counsel and services. He's also FAST. I really can't imagine having a better real estate agent. I can't recommend him enough.

Positive experience: They did the best they could to get back to me during a week of most people being snowed in. They are very friendly and have some resonably priced rental properties. My only issue was that the one I was interested in didn't allow pets.

Fantastic experience: I've rented through Midgett and Fire for a year and a half. First off they made sure we thourghly understood the lease before signing the lease, very transparent. In the past I've had landlords who would try to loophole us into signing things. Next they were always very responsive and helpful. Every interaction with them has always been plesent. We found a home that better met our needs (bigger family). But they had an opportunity to keep extra money from us and we would of NEVER known. Apparently we had overpaid a few months back and Mrs Jeneva caught it and brought it to my attention. Her knowing I would of never noticed but making sure everything was accurate speaks on her character. Definitely recommend renting through them! We love our new house because it's much bigger but the only down side is we aren't renting through Midgett and fite any longer.

Fantastic experience: Dan & Geneva Midgett are two of the most professional & kind individuals that you would ever want to be acquainted with. They'll go out of their way to try and accommodate renters. We are grateful that they manage our property for the nine years we have lived here. You can count on them to try to make things right if it's in their power.

Fantastic experience: This place has reasonable rates on places to livelandlord is nice to talk to if something breaks down he's there to fix it right away and maybe take a few days before they get right to it they got an excellent construction crew that fixes I've been renting from him past three-and-a-half years from now got no problems with we this landlord if you need a place to live give him a call and some of his places accept pets

Negative experience: I would never let these people manage my rental property. To put it nicely, they are the definition of slum lords. I live and own a home by 2 of the houses they "manage" and they NEVER come out and inspect the properties and the houses look horrible. Here are some pictures. I think they speak for themselves.

Fantastic experience: I (a first time homebuyer) had a great time buying my first house with Midgett & Fite. Dan Midgett, the realtor, is very smart and knowledgeable in what he's doing. He gave me plenty of great advice, for someone like me, who doesn't know anything about real estate and what's it like to be a homeowner, I can ask him just about anything that I can think of and he'd give a great answer. Most importantly, he is trustworthy. He will do what is best for you and also anything you ask him to do (about the deal,) so that you can get the best deal possible. He is also very good at negotiations. During my homebuying process, we ran into a few issues; most notably the appraisal for the house came in much lower than what I had offered and I'd have walked away from the deal, but Dan was able to negotiate and lower the price, and saved the whole deal from falling apart. This is just one of those things that you don't expect when buying a house, but it does happen and you will want someone that knows how to deal with this situation like Dan. His associate, also son-in-law, Jared Snyder is also a great guy to work with as well. He helped me with the house while Dan was away. I know about them from my co-worker, who just happens to be Dan's son. All in all; a great family. I'd recommend them to anyone. This review is from my personal experience. Pete S.
