Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing team of people, great communication all around. I purchased my first time home with these people through Chris and I do not regret it in the slightest. Their knowledge and no how never made me feel like I was in the dark or if I didn't know something, Mr Chris would always have the answer and the proper way to explain things in detail so I could be more knowledgeable on these topics. We searched and filtered through homes til we found the right one then once we did, Chris and his team put me through to the right people and my time to closing was a breeze. 100/10 experience and would easily recommend anyone i know in this area to Chris and his team at Basin Creek Realty

Fantastic experience: Gambill Aldridge has been a life saver to my family in the past two years. He sold my dad's office and had helped my mom sell her home after my dad's unexpected death. He has been helpful, honest, and kind to us all. The deal went through exactly the way he predicted. Fantastic experience: Gamble did an absolutely fantastic job and handling my father-in-law‘s property after a mother and grandmother duo skipped out two months early on the lease to Texas and did not pay the last 2 months rent ,as well as trying to slip her son and family in the house for the remainder of the lease term with no approval,not to mention the hoarding conditions to the house was left in. He was very attentive and thorough and rectifying the situation, he comes highly recommended

Negative experience: Stay away!!! My elderly mother and grandmother were very mistreated by this man Gamble Aldridge who owns this group and manages properties. People tried to warn them about this guy, but they needed a place. This management company failed to fix things in the home, were very poor in their communications, and were VERY unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Chris Hockenbury did a fantastic job working with us on selling our family property in Wilkes County. Chris is positive, honest, and knowledgeable—with excellent communication. He is also incredibly resourceful and willing to go the extra mile. I cannot imagine working with anyone else. I was truly lucky when I found him. Fantastic experience: Lee Mastin and team have been true champions! My husband and I have had a dream of having a homestead farm for more than 40 years. We were now in a place to make it happen, but needed someone who knew all the nuances of each jurisdiction and had the real skinny on the local real estate market. Lee was amazing. He was able to guide us into properties in areas that fit us perfectly. And once we found the place, he had the perfect lender (Daniel Denny at AgSouth Farm Credit) and attorney (Emily Barr Andrews in Elkin)! Having the right connections is so important. There were tons of difficulties with the sellers, but Lee and crew used every bit of their knowledge to make it happen for us. Lee is without a doubt one of the top realtors in the area. No matter how big or how small your needs, he is there for you. We are so grateful to know him and recommend him to everyone we see.

Gambill just helped me sell the same house (moved for work), and as unbelievable as this sounds, he was even more helpful this time around, handling almost all aspects, even those well outside of the requirements. If I ever come back to the area, will be using him again without question. Original review: I am currently in the process of buying a house through Basin Creek Realty. Gambill Aldridge is the man. He will bend over backwards to help make the process run smoothly, going above and beyond what is required. Furthermore, he is 100% honest, trying to save the buyer as much money as possible. He will point out issues he sees, and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had been in the process of trying to build a house. We talked with a couple of realtors and hadn’t found one that we really loved. After a recommendation to talk with Lee Mastin on Facebook, we reached out. From the first phone call, Lee was extremely enthusiastic and eager to help us find our dream land or home. He was extremely knowledgeable about the properties local to us and gave us the pros and cons of each. He encouraged us to step out of our comfort zone and to take a look at not only land but at homes as well. We absolutely loved how Lee took the time to go into the houses and throughly look them over and point out potential problems that we may run into later on if we purchased the house. There was a particular property that we had no interest in looking at due to the cosmetic components of the property, however it was in the location that we wanted to be in. Lee encouraged us to take a look having previously been inside the house. From the moment we walked in, we absolutely fell in love, even though we weren’t looking for a fixer upper. Immediately after leaving, Lee wrote our offer and we were under contract by the end of the day. During the entire process, Lee was always willing to answer questions, address concerns- at any time of the day or night. After closing, Lee and his wife Desiree (the office manager at Basin Creek) stopped by and checked on us during the renovation process. We are so incredibly thankful for both Lee and Desiree for all they have done for us in finding our dream home as well as the friendship we now hold. Lee truly cares about his clients and wants to help people find their dream home. Our business was personal to him and not just a paycheck, and that means more than anything. Fantastic experience: I had the privilege working with Chris Hockenbury. I was looking to buy a home and I could not have asked for a better agent to have worked with. Anything I needed or questions I may have had he was right there from beginning to end. We had some issues with the home and he went beyond his duties of an agent and had it taken care of. I seriously can not say enough great things about this agent. If you are looking to buy or sell your home then Chris is your guy. He truly goes above and beyond for you. Positive experience: Look at several houses on their site. It seemed nice not to have to pay to just look at a possible house you are interested in. It seemed that I was not the only one interested in the houses I was interested in.Most were under contract or was in in the process of the contract. You have a very good website easy to follow and find what you are looking for.

Fantastic experience: Basin Creek Realty and it's owner, Gambill Aldridge, did a great job for my family. Gambill is very thorough and does not rush. He allows the customer to be content with the pace of progress and the methods to be used to market the property especially during the Covid problem. He wants the customer to be comfortable with the pace and not just rush to make a sale. Gambill has excellent connections to help such as electricians and other contractors who hold him in high regard and hence get the job done expeditiously and properly. No short cuts. Gambill also is hands on in surveying the property to solve any issue that may come up. I highly recommend Gambill. He has years of experience and cares about the customer and community.

Fantastic experience: We just recently purchased land through this company and we worked with Gambill Aldridge. Not only was he very professional, he was willing to look at any property we chose. We probably looked at 10 different properties and a couple of them were several acres! Some of the property was steep and over grown. Negative experience: Own it Brother❗️...you did it❗️...Truth hurts...right❗️I was alerted by my credit card company when you used my credit card without my permission and ran it up to twenty thousand dollars. When I ask for my card, you opened your wallet and handed it back to me. My daughter never had the card and did not make the charges to my card. This is the truth...you know it’s the truth. I would not trust you with any financial transactions especially not selling any properties. ❗️❗️❗️

Fantastic experience: I’ve had the opportunity to use Basin Creek Realty on a couple of occasions. Never have I felt in better hands than when Gambill Aldridge and his team were looking after us. They went above and beyond to see that our house sold quickly and easily. When issues would arise they offered smart fast options to make both buyer, and seller happy. Would I recommend them to you? Yes completely. Would I use them again? Without a doubt. Real estate and property management Is a tricky endeavor at best, I’d trust these guys to guide me through the process again in a heartbeat.

Positive experience: When I first moved to the area, Gambill helped me find an apartment and gave me tour of the town to help me get oriented to the area. Later he assisted me in finding a house and was very patient in explaining the details and process of purchasing as a first time homebuyer. He knows the area and the people and got me quality references I needed to make home improvements.

Fantastic experience: A 5 star rating does not express our opinion of Basin Creek Reality, maybe double the stars to 10. We recently listed a property to sell with Gambill Aldridge. We signed the selling agreement on a Friday afternoon, the property had 3 showings on Saturday and on Sunday we had an offer that we accepted. Gambill patiently walked us through the process of selling the property with the normal amount of bumps in the road ( no fault of Gambill’s). He helped solve all of the issues that can rise in a real estate selling process with patience and doing even more for us than required. Negative experience: we came up an found a piece of property that was listed at 10.97 acres and placed a deposit on that property. when we closed on that property i found out a year later looking for my brother a piece of property nearby a listing at this same address by the original owner that was for 9.65 acres. this was before he listed with this realtor who then added the state ROW which of course is not usable property. BEWARE!

Fantastic experience: We worked with Clark on a piece of land we just purchased and he was great! During our search, he added properties to the list based on others that we were interested in. We ended up purchasing a piece of property he found for us that we had not even put on our list. He was very communicative during our due diligence period and closing. I would highly recommend Clark!

Negative experience: Everything was going so smoothly, until the relator at this location messed up my addendum. I'm still in the processes of finding out if my closing date may be delayed now. This has turned into a nightmare. He then proceeded by laughing at my situation, which wasn't funny to me at all. Never excusing himself for his mistake. Feeling as if he didn't care. I won't be recommending them.
