Fantastic experience: I have been a resident of Bonhomme Village Apartments for almost six months now, and I am genuinely impressed with my experience here. The standout feature of this community is easily the maintenance team. The entire property is kept clear and exceptionally clean, and the gardens are always beautifully maintained. Additionally, the roads within the community are well taken care of and fixed from time to time. Whenever an issue arises within the apartment, the maintenance team provides a prompt response. They handle requests with impressive speed, getting back to you immediately after hearing about any problem to get it taken care of right away.

Negative experience: Do not rent here. They will find a way to charge you for something. Management is useless. Find somewhere else!!! Outdated everything. High bills. Apartments do not cool down. Outdated appliances. Dishwasher does not work, they will not replace it. Cracks all over the walls. Avoid this place like the plague. They will change your contract on you at any moments notice.

Negative experience: ….Currently resident…They only take you to the show room apartment which they keep that building tiptop. Power washing done to first and second level, but not third floor. You would think inspections would be done by management, but of course it’s just the job. Wasp nest are out of control and All you can do is put a ticket in and hope someone responds. Roof nails keep falling on patio. Loose banisters and plywood. Respectfully, OK place to make a pitstop.

Negative experience: sketchy and outdated, they use an AI algorithm for their pricing that changes by the day when you go to lease, outdated carpet and appliances in units, management doesn't talk to you like a normal person and lies to you, changed the move out date on our contract 1 month before we're moving out, will try to get any money they can out of you, when the electric was out for 4 days earlier this year nobody from management or the property management company said anything no emails sent to anyone making sure anyone was ok, worst place i've ever lived

It’s truly one of the best apartment communities we’ve stayed in safe, calm, and full of great amenities that make it perfect for families and kids. We especially want to thank Victoria, the property manager, who made our time there so pleasant. She’s one of the kindest, most professional, and genuinely helpful people we’ve ever met. She handled every situation with care and a friendly attitude, always making sure residents felt supported and heard. We are so grateful for her and wish her all the very best in her future, people like her are rare, and we hope every property is lucky enough to have someone like Victoria. Bonhomme Village offers great value for the price and provides a peaceful, welcoming environment for people from all walks of life. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality place to live with a top-notch manager!

Fantastic experience: One of the safe apartment for family. A partment area is excellent for walk and Gym is excellent for excercise, Tennis court & play ground for kids, clean swimming pool available. Overall excellent apartment and its my 2nd year in this beautiful apartment.

Negative experience: Very warm welcome to an overpriced bungalow. I was never shown the actual unit to be leased. I was given keys to an out dated unit. Out dated appliances and old blown fuses leaving a horrible fishy odor. Very nice lay out but very old fixtures and features throughout.

Negative experience: Went on a tour and decided to not rent here due to the fact they use AI algorithmic pricing with no possibility for human negotiation. The rent price changes by the day and spiked over $300-$400/month between when I first looked at their units and when I finally went on the tour. The units and property look great, but I would not trust any business using this pricing algorithm. Also, Yardi, the rent-setting software this place uses, is currently being sued for illegally inflating rent prices. The DOJ and FTC are also investigating abuses of AI algorithmic pricing in housing, medicine, airlines, and other industries. It may not bother you, but I prefer to do business with humans.

Fantastic experience: Lived here for 12 months and enjoyed it very much. The gym is very well equipped, the maintenance team is friendly and does a great job, the pool is amazing in the summer time, and special shoutout to Lexie the leading consultant. She does outstanding work and was always a friendly face to say hello to.

Fantastic experience: I’m blown away by how amazing every single team member is at this property. I’ve lived here for a year and everyone in the office is incredibly kind. On top of that- maintenance is so responsive. Today, I placed a work order about a storm grate that got clogged and the maintenance team had it completely fixed within the hour. This is the perfect place to call home!

Fantastic experience: This is a beautiful and well-maintained property. The management facilitated a seamless move-in. Especially, Lexie is friendly, welcoming, and very professional. We received quick responses to all our queries. The maintenance staff was super helpful and provided prompt service. Our apartment is cozy, with a great view from the windows. Our experience so far has been great!

Fantastic experience: I have lived here for a full year and am sad to leave. No pests, responsive maintenance, lots of children having fun in the little Greenway between rows of apartments. The community has a swan that just landed here one day and lives here now. Gym is always clean. Only thing I would say is there have been a couple car break-ins so don't leave valuables in your car, but that's par for the course anywhere in Olivette.

Positive experience: Very high end rent for low end amenities. Staff is very kind but there are zero frills and many headaches due to zero investing in upgrades, appliances (specifically AC & dishwasher) and improvements.

Fantastic experience: I love living here. Everyone from the staff, who are very helpful, to the maintenance team, who are timely and knowledgeable, has made my experience here great! This is a safe area, well-lit, and central to everything within 15 minutes... I love that this feels more like a neighborhood, than a stuffy concrete apartment complex.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and welcoming staff from the manager, to the leasing agents, to the maintenance personnel. Very clean space with a beautiful view from the windows and deck. There were a few extra fees upon move in that I wasn't charged at my previous locations (admin fee/inspection fee) but you can't beat the location and price. Also, no security deposit (which the last leasing company I rented from took 4 months to return). Clean pool and newly paved tennis courts, as well as a sand volleyball area and a basketball court. Definitely the friendliest and best apartment complex I've lived in!

Negative experience: Recently, the maintenance is extremely slow. If you kitchen sink is clogged, they may tell you to wait for 2~3 days. If the oven is not working, they will tell you to wait for ~1 wk. If the bathroom has a problem they will never bother to come to check the problem. Be careful before you move in if you expect a reasonable maintenance.

Fantastic experience: I'm in the process of moving from Florida to these apartments in Missouri, and the assistant manager, Neha, has been so helpful. She took pictures of the actual unit and went above and beyond when it came to her customer service skills and answering all of my questions. This was beneficial for me since I'm moving from out of state and am unable to visit properties in that area. Will update this post after moving in.

Negative experience: My motorcycle stolen from this apartment complex, after being recovered by the police apartment had a tree fall On it. I had to pay for it!!! The staff moved me from my parking spot because the Neighbor did not know how to park and took up half of my spot , and I was the second person that they moved because of her! So instead of moving her, I was moved! Over priced!!! $1300 for a apartment that should only be $900 or less!!!

Negative experience: We moved into Bonhomme and were ecstatic, under the belief that we were getting a bargain for the location and the quality of the apartment. We didn't understand, at the time, that the nice appearance of the apartment and apparently just living in Olivette were justifications the property management company uses to overcharge on rent. When we looked just down the street, a comparable apartment unit was going for several hundred a month less, and this is after we received several discounts already for my wife's place of employment(part of how we got charmed). Even accounting for the high rent cost, though, we could have managed - if not for some changes in my wife's life which required her to take a steep pay cut. This impacted our ability to make rent on time, which I explained immediately to the company representative in hopes of making an arrangement. I wasn't seeking to pay less rent, just to pay rent on a different day, because it would work out much better and I was unable to negotiate my income to land on a different day. I was told this was impossible, and the representative who worked the desk seemed utterly disinterested in our problems. I advised them that if we can't make any kind of arrangement, I may have to pay late some months, and I was told that I'd just be charged late fees each and every time - even if they were told well in advance. So I struggled to make it work anyway. It was very stressful, and one month I had to pay late and asked for some kind of arrangement again - this time, I was advised(by the same bored woman at the front desk) to ask churches for help. She even referred us to soup kitchens. So let me make this clear: this company expects churches to subsidize your rent before they will consider the smallest possible concession for you. I was not about to take resources from people in worse straits than myself just to meet this company's ridiculous bureaucratic preferences, so we had several months where we -barely- got by. My wife and I got married during the year we were at Bonhomme, and even with a month's advance notice that we'd like to pay late in order to accommodate the wedding, we were hit with late fees anyway. Then, when we were blessed to find a cheaper place to live with equivalent quality and a better location, we left earlier than the date we agreed on the contract, and we were given a new contract that listed we would pay a little over $100 for the last few days. We agreed to that amount. A few days before we left, the same bored woman called us up and explained that, due to 'utilities being billed late,' we would be charged an additional $120 or so dollars. Despite this explanation of being 'billed late'(and that was the only explanation given, rephrased in a couple of equally meaningless ways), we were okay with this and paying that was no problem. Yet, when we finally left, we were hit with several hidden fees that were never explained to us, which doubled the amount. I even have a recording, on my phone, of this SAME bored woman explaining that we would owe XXX amount when we leave, and then literally days later it jumped up by a few hundred with no real explanation given. At this point I was just accepting this and told them that, as they KNOW, it is easier for me to pay some things at the middle of the month and THEREFORE, I would be paying that in a week and a half's time from the time of the notice. The woman said it would go to collections anyway. As luck would have it, though, I received a promotion at work, and I actually could pay the amount owed just a few days after it was due. I went to their ridiculous website to make this payment, and learned I was locked out of the system already. I then called them, and left several messages, explaining that I have the money and can pay them. No response calls, because of course they had already sent it to collections. They were never interested in just talking to me like a person, they are solely after your money. I was never trying to pay less, just meet my non-negotiable student loans and still live there.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed my stay here. I would like to oneday return. The landscaping is so beautiful, I found it calming. I never heard any of my neighbors, no noise at all. The staff are very professional and exceptionally friendly. I've lived in different places but this is the one place I would claim as my home.
