Fantastic experience: Chelsea helped me find a new home on Lake Anna this year. Through many months of searching, her resolve to find the one that was right never wavered, despite visiting probably 30 different homes over the course of quite a few months. She was very willing to schedule visits that worked with my schedule. Her husband Nathan was always there too, even walking through the woods exploring building lots with me. From the home showings to the offer process to closing, Chelsea is always professional and striving to make the buyers experience top notch.

Fantastic experience: Chelsea was recommended to us by our son and his wife. After a call to Chelsea, she met us at a donut shop on a Friday afternoon to discuss our desires. Rather than pushing specific offerings, she asked the right questions to determine what we were looking for and then offered appropriate listings. We were living 2 1/2 hours away, but Chelsea alerted us to new listings she thought might interest us and was always responsive and flexible to schedule showings to accommodate our visits. Rather than a real estate agent, she truly acted as an advocate, helping us find the home that “spoke to us” and kindly guided us through the purchase with a most caring demeanor. Our only issue with this review is that we can’t add a few more stars to the rating! If you’re in the market to buy or sell, Chelsea Newcomb should be your realtor.

From start to finish with both sells she was friendly, professional and consistently on top of every detail. What really stood out was how she supported us through an unexpected issue right before the recent closing on our house. The day before closing a storm blew down 2 large trees across the driveway completely blocking access to the house. It was an extremely stressful situation. We were worried about delays and understandable had upset buyers who were expecting to complete closing the next day. Chelsea stayed calm, jumped in immediately, helped us understand our options and coordinated next steps. Thanks to her we were able to move forward with confidence and complete the closing. The biggest moment that stood out was on closing day. We had a burst pipe, which could have easily delayed everything and turned into a nightmare. We still closed on time, and we barely felt the impact of what could have been a major issue. I rarely write reviews or wasn't even asked for one, but this went so well I needed to share our experience. There are so many realtors who will promise you the moon but after you sign with them, they underdeliver. I personally work with over 100+ realtors in my line of work and see dozens of properties every day. I decided to hire Chelsea to personally help my family purchase a home in a very fast and competitive market for buyers. Chelsea is extremely responsive, professional, and took the time to understand what our family was looking for a home. I knew she was a top listing agent, but she is a force on the buy side. After our appointment with her, a beautiful home in a great area in Goochland came live on the MLS the next day and we knew it was going to be competitive. We quickly booked our showing and were the 4th on a Friday night, and we absolutely loved it. Chelsea moved quickly and helped us put an offer together. She knew exactly how to build rapport with the listing agent and communicate to the needs of their seller so our offer would be accepted. We were able to get showings cancelled through the weekend and our house under contract 24 hours after hiring Chelsea (unbelievable). What would have been a potential bidding war turned into a smooth and seamless transaction. Our inspection passed with flying colors, and Chelsea patiently took the time through the entire process to explain anything we needed clarity on. We never felt pressured, and Chelsea was insistent on making sure we were comfortable and making the right personal and financial decision for ourselves even after we had the house under contract. We always felt she cared about us making the best decision for ourselves instead of pushing to get the deal done. As a professional who works with real estate agents for a living, Chelsea is a gem that actually works with her clients and does best by them.
