Sherry Ethell Team - Associate Broker - Real Estate Agent - Sierra Vista - Residential Realtor

Fantastic experience: Sherry was amazing and provided expertise advice. She or her team were available at every showing and open house. Nothing fazed her! And, as you know, selling a home can be quite daunting. We would highly recommend Sherry and her team to provide you with everything you need during the listing and sale of your property.

Negative experience: To my fellow active-duty military families: if you’re PCSing to Fort Huachuca and see Sherry listed as the selling agent, I highly recommend caution. After more than 25 years in the military and many home purchases, this was the most difficult experience we have ever had due to a severe lack of professionalism and transparency. Because we were on a tight PCS timeline with a VA loan, it felt like our constraints were leveraged to push us into accepting the property as-is. We faced multiple issues during the process: Dismissing Professionals: Two licensed HVAC contractors determined the system was undersized. The agent dismissed their findings and relied on another realtor's opinion instead. Unrequested Charges: The agent produced a $2,500 invoice for roof repairs we never requested, which felt highly unusual given the conflicting roof inspections. I seriously wonder if this was to influence future negotiations and was a waste of the seller's money. Repair Deflection: The inspection found structural issues like stucco cracks, soil erosion, and fascia damage. The agent dismissed these as "unnecessary upgrades" and only offered to fix minor items like a leaky faucet. Delay Tactics: Despite getting our paperwork in early, the agent waited until the final day of the response window to claim she couldn't reach the seller, forcing an extension request when we had no time left to look elsewhere. We only proceeded because we had the personal means to fix these issues ourselves and zero time to restart our search. Not all military families have that flexibility. I am filing formal complaints with the appropriate state real estate and military housing authorities. I strongly advise military families to protect themselves and consider other homes if this agent is involved. Note: The opinions expressed are my own and do not represent the U.S. Army or the Department of Defense.

Once Dion even trimmed a tree for us when we were out of town, so the property would still close on time. Sherry took the time to even meet the bee removal company for us from another property. Fantastic experience: Sherry Ethell and Team are the absolute best in the business. We were completely blown away by what an amazing job she and Dion did. Our home sold in less than a week for full asking price and they made it so easy. Sherry‘s knowledge of the market, her professionalism, and her genuine caring for her clients was completely palpable and so appreciated. We truly felt like we were her only clients. Sherry always took the time to communicate everything we need to know before we needed to know it and communicated all of the little things such as completing a change of address with the post office and reminders about utilities to cancel. Truly serviced that goes above and beyond anybody’s expectations. This whole experience dealing with Sherry and Team makes me wish that we had hundreds of houses to sell so that we could continue to use Sherry in perpetuity! My only regret is that Sherry has set the bar so high that any realtor I use in the future is going to be a disappointment :)

When we arrived in the Sierra Vista, they took us to several houses and really got to know what we were looking for, narrowing the search until we found the right place.
