Fantastic experience: To our kindest and strongly devoted realtor Melina Bradley Melina was referred to us by our former realtor who stated that she will be a great person to handle our real estate transactions and she was correct. Melina found an investment condo for us in New Jersey, where she devotedly worked with the mortgage company from California who was giving her the run around along with dealing with tenants residing at the property. Luckily, she stuck it out and we were able to close on the property on April 2022. On July 2023, we reached out again since we decided to sell the the same condo to reinvest in another property in Hawaii as a 1031 exchange. Melina was able to find a cash buyer but had the hurdle of needing to deliver a vacant unit, which she was able to overcome later on after working closely with the tenants and even assisted them in checking out their potential new home. On top of that, she also promptly corresponded with the agent in Hawaii and with the 1031 company, and made sure that we are always on the loop on all the communications and transactions. There was also a point where we were looking for a property in California and she referred us to another agent, who works locally in the area, which shows Melina's ability to listen and help her clients outside her scope. Melina's actions and compassion for all involved made us feel so comfortable to work with her, as she always made herself available to her client. We loved working with someone who was always there looking out for our own and others involved to achieve what is required. Fantastic experience: I worked with Emily Knight Berke to find a beach home in NJ. I had 5 homes that I found on the Internet myself and she got appointments for all of them on the same day so we didn’t have to travel back and forth to see them all, as we lived an hour away. Fantastic experience: My husband and I had the privilege to work with Kandis Furlow at Keller-Williams when we decided to sell our home in Middletown. We had lived there for over 20 years, but knew we were ready to down-size. Kandis came prepared with a full market review, things we should be aware of based on current market trends, and advice on what areas to “touch up” in our home before listing - all solid recommendations that ultimately paid off in terms of attracting qualified buyers and getting a great sale price. Once listed, Kandis kept us informed of what to expect and how to prepare for the showing our home. As most know, selling a home can be a very stressful time, but Kandis made the process move smoothly. Her professional manner and marketing skills allowed us to sell our home in 5 days. She then went through each offer with us, discussing the individual pros and cons. While she emphasized that it was ultimately our decision to select an offer, her guidance and knowledge was invaluable. It’s easy to list a home. It’s very difficult to list it correctly, setting seller’s expectations, highlighting selling points and knowing your selling price range. Throughout the negotiation process with the buyer, Kandis was skillful in working through the buyer’s requests and our responses. With our first meeting with Melina, she had a calming, friendly aura that seemed to good to be true. She offered her expertise with confidence. She is proud of what she does and she was truly interested in making us happy. The offer of the organizer and stager at no additional cost to us was a game changer. After raising 4 children, now adults, in our home of 21 years, the amount of “stuff” seemed like we would never get through it. We know that the help we received in organizing and staging in advance of very professional photographs was the key to getting us our asking price on day one of the first and only open house at a time when interest rates were climbing and availability of homes was declining. On top of all that, we had no clue where we wanted to move to. Within one month, she helped us find our next home. Along the way we worked with Ryan a few times when Melina was unavailable and he was the nicest person. It seemed everyone Melina put us in contact with had her same determination and professional attitude of just wanting to help us be happy. I was in the process of selling my home and it was immediately clear that she wanted to ensure that I had a place to move to after the sale.
