Fantastic experience: Working with Keith Nitsch was hands down the best decision we made during our home buying journey. We looked at what felt like 50 houses, and not once did Keith lose patience or try to rush us. We both work full time, and he consistently went above and beyond—spending late nights and giving up his weekends just to make sure we could see every home we were interested in. We even revisited multiple homes several times, and through a couple deals falling through (through no fault of ours), Keith stayed positive, motivated, and committed to helping us find the right one. When we finally found our dream home, everything moved faster than expected and the closing process was smooth from start to finish. On top of that, I trusted Keith to list the home I was moving out of. I originally thought his recommended price was too high, but I went with his advice—and I’m so glad I did. He got it under contract in less than a week. That alone speaks volumes about his knowledge and expertise. What stood out the most was his honesty and zero-pressure approach. I’m extremely picky, and Keith never once pushed me into anything. He was always upfront, real, and had our best interest in mind the entire time. His work ethic, dedication, and commitment to his clients are unmatched. I truly appreciate everything he did for us and will absolutely be using him again in the future. Negative experience: Rented for three years. Reported every issue, never resolved. When I asked about my deposit, they told me I owed because of the upgrades the owner made AFTER I moved out. I will never use or recommend this business to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Husband and I rented our apartment from Coldwell for a good while. No issues and staff always pleasant, friendly and efficient. A good choice.

Negative experience: BEWARE of their rental properties, they are very scheming . Me and my girl applied to one of the properties, had to pay $60 total for a application fee, was told it would be 24 to 48 hours until we heard anything back per usual, about a day goes by and we give them a call and ask them for an update on our application and they say that it hasn’t been processed yet. at this point we started getting a fishy feeling in our stomachs about this reality and i started reading other reviews and highly regret even applying, so we had some friends call down there to see if it was still available and they said yes and almost tried begging them to come down and tour it than apply, most places ive applied too will take one applicant at a time and atleast reserve it a few days until denial or approval but this place will let 100s of people apply within a day which is ridiculous, 2 days later they then called us to let us know we were approved but that the owner wen’t with another applicant (which I’m sure was only due to us having a registered emotional support animal listed on the application). If you read this review you’ve been warned, they will steal your money.

Fantastic experience: I've popped into the business every now and then to see if they've had any properties for rent( in my size, needed) and if they didn't at that time!! The ladies at the front was always helpful.

Fantastic experience: Terry and Dave went through it with us! They probably had a few adult beverages with all we put them through ... We were trying to buy a home in Hamilton County after selling a house in SoCal (and while temporarily living with family in Central GA while house hunting). Long story!!! They not only drove to every property we asked to look at - even in Northwest GA! -, but they offered video walkthroughs to avoid a 6 HR round trip for us each time. After two months in a white hot frustrating market....having had homes snatched out from under us because our '0% down dual-vet VA loan' didn't cut the mustard...., we finally closed on "the" house in Ooltewah and couldn't be happier. After about a month of living there, Terry and Dave even took the time to respond to our report of a longstanding gas leak that hadn't been noticed during inspection or walkthrough, and they reached out to the selling agent for us after we had the issue rectified. Outstanding, wonderful, caring guys!!! Super grateful we had them on our side. Would recommend any day. Tammy & Mike

Negative experience: I'm not sure what scam they decided to run on us when we asked to look for a rental property. We explicitly told Maggie that we had a June 1st move-in date. She said that was fine and told us of a property that was in our price range and would be available at that time. We go to pick up the key and look at the property. It's perfect and just what we're looking for. The lady at the front desk said we could put in an application. We stated again that our move-in date would be June 1st. She said "Well, actually, this application only holds everything for one week. And we already have someone who has applied and put down a deposit on that property." So why did you let us view it if it's already being rented?!?! They clearly wanted to take our non-refundable application fee and do nothing with it. When we said that we didn't want to put in an application to an already taken property, she said we could try the website and handed us a sheet of paper with storage units available?? When we tried to contact Maggie again for some clarification and an explanation as to why we drove all the way to Cleveland to view a property that wasn't available and get our hopes up for nothing, she never responded. It's shady behavior like this that gives property management companies a bad name. Please do better in the future. The rental market is already difficult to navigate. Don't make it a worse experience by taking advantage of people and their hopes for a good home. If someone wants to explain to us their reasoning I'd love to hear it. I understand your primary business is in selling houses but please consider being more respectful of potential renter's time in the future.

Negative experience: They are terrible and none of the staff members are familiar with leasing policies and other processes. When you ask them anything, they will say "don't know". Then why do they have to run this business? They would never update you with the status of your application form. My husband contacted them for rental as he was transferred to Cleveland, TN. He clearly explained our current situation that he had to break the leasing agreement with our previous apartment (but settled the entire due as per the leasing contract) due to job transfer and was looking out to rent a unit to bring in his family to a new place. We applied for a rental unit that's listed on Kinard realty website. They collected money from both of us and processed our application form , but never told us any status about it in spite of my husband's continuous follow up calls with them. Later after a few days, when he called only, they told us that the owner denied the application due to the previous lease breaking. When we asked why couldn't you inform us of the owner's requirement in advance (before filling up the form), we were told that they weren't aware of it. I was completely disappointed with their lame excuse. We simply wasted our money and time with them.

Negative experience: I highly recommend you never do business with Coldwell-Banker-Kinard realty. They are liars and cheats. My experiences with them over the last 2 years or so have been the worst business experiences of my life. They refuse to do most maintenance requests, despite the lease saying it is THEIR responsibility, by using the excuse that the owner has to approve it first (and the owners have no reason to). They will make mistakes and expect you to fix them, but if you make a mistake with your bill they will not fix it for you. They are currently holding a whole extra rent payment hostage because the autopayment went through AFTER we moved out, and they are refusing to give it back in a timely manner. If you have to rent and it is at all possible, DO NOT rent with them.

Fantastic experience: Christina was fabulous to work with!! We are from out of state and when she learned we were traveling to see land options, she set aside the whole day to show us what was available. Once we decided, she stood in for us when inspections were scheduled and was so helpful with info on permitting and other items. I can't say enough about her and all of her help. She was always available and kept us up to date on what was pending and when it would be resolved. It's hard when you buy land in another state and Christina just made it so much easier for us!

Negative experience: Called asking about a place they said it was rented. Place has been empty 4 weeks .The place is listed on multiple sights and is up dated daily. They keep the listings online so they can collect as much nonrefundable application fees as possible. Their rude over the phone. Beware....

Positive experience: It's a nice building with some great employees. They helped me purchase the home that I am living in today. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They helped open up some options to me I otherwise wouldn't have known about. So, thank you for helping my family and I find a nice home in the Cleveland area while I go to work and school

Negative experience: Rental Department is TERRIBLE. These women will treat you like garbage, regardless of how long you've been a loyal tenant with ZERO late payments.

Negative experience: Terrible service, the ladies that work there in the renting side, are so......rude and just plain hateful. I try renting from them, my aplicasion was not accepted and they never called me to let me know and when I asked why, the lady there went off on me, talking to me as if I was stupid just for asking a simple question. They don't know how to talk to the customer. Totally unprofessional!! I have talked to some people about this and they have told me that that's how rude they are. Haven't heard anything good about their service.

Negative experience: I have a rental Property with them. The client pays on time but we have to chase our money every month. I email and get no response or response a week or two later. Service is very poor.

Fantastic experience: Recently my wife and I purchased a home. The listing agent was Kathy Roshsenberger. I worked on the purchasing end with my life time friend Dale Clark from Bender. He was totally excellent in all that he did for me. He told me that Kathy went beyond the call of duty in the sale of this home...doing things that the sellers probably should have done. She kept with it every step of the way (this house had some legal issues attached to it). Her relentless pursuit allowed us to close on the house about 3 months after the original offer. To be honest I thought the deal was dead after 6 weeks but Kathy would not let this deal die. I do not even know everything that she did, only she knows but I am thankful for her and I pray that her company is thankful for her as well

Fantastic experience: I have rented through Coldwell for about 4 years and they are easy to work with. They have good customer service and get back with you quickly. Whenever you call you can always get someone on the phone and get the help you need.
