Fantastic experience: Elke is really amazing to work with! I don't even think we knew exactly what we were looking for, but she viewed about a million houses with us and helped us find it. It was our first time buying, so she guided us through the process and just went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I'm kind of an anxious person, and working with her was so grounding. I never felt pressured and she helped me identify what were big things to worry about and what things had easier fixes. She never pushed to go out of our budget, which I've heard happens with other people sometimes. When I got discouraged, she encouraged me that we would find the right one! Just a really wonderful person and really wonderful realtor to work with. And she advocates for you hard! If we ever move, away she's just gonna have to learn real estate there too because I only want to work with her.

I have never before experienced such a flawless, clear home-selling process. By way of background, I've bought or sold 3 homes in my life. Elke was available via text/phone, and kept me appraised of all relevant updates.

Fantastic experience: Elke helped us sell our house in Cedar Falls in summer 2022, and she was great. When we started working with her, we had already moved out of state, and she helped us coordinate everything from afar: getting quotes and scheduling with professional cleaners, coordinating with the utilities company, and in general preparing our house for sale. Our house had an unresolved zoning question with the City, and I tried for 2 years to get answers but wasn't able to. Elke helped us find the right person at the City to talk to, got answers for us in writing, and then once the zoning status of our house was confirmed, she helped us talk to CFU and the post office to make sure everything is updated with them too. I think of Elke as the dream coworker. She got things done, remembered the details that I told her, responded promptly to my emails and text messages, and always cheerfully answered my questions. She always gave us a straight answer, but she was also sensitive to our feelings and pretty tactful in her communication. If I asked her a question or explained my worries, she listened, summarized the issue to make sure she understood, and then came up with suggestions. Most importantly to me, she gave me status updates and confirmed with me when things were done. I have worked with 3 realtors in the last 2 years (our family had to move twice in a short time due to career reasons), and I found her skills to be a rare combination. All of the realtors that I interviewed and worked with in the past were also full-time, well-established agents in their areas, but it was only with Elke that I felt like I was working in the same team as my realtor, and that my realtor was pulling her weight and watching out for my interests. Thanks to her, I was able to worry less about selling my house from a distance and could focus on getting settled into my new life in a different state. I think she's quite possibly the best realtor in the Cedar Valley, and I will recommend her without hesitation to my friends and colleagues in the area.
