Fantastic experience: Bondurant maintenance staff have been quick to respond to tenants needs and always super friendly. They've also taken the time to explain what they're doing and very accommodating to our scheduling needs.

Negative experience: Been renting through them four three years. Never again. They will try to charge you over your total due payment you signed in your lease. So stay vigilant with that. Also say good bye to your security deposit. You leave a speck of dust on the ground, they are going to charge you 300 for it. Very disappointed with there services throughout the years. Hope yall don’t make the same mistake renting through them like I did.

Negative experience: Walls are paper thin, management does not care about tenants, place is poorly managed and has leaks, mold, rats. You name it.

Negative experience: For context: I have never missed a month’s rent, take excellent care of my unit, turn all information needed in on time, and take pride in being a good tenant. However, I expect my landlord to have the same level of professionalism. Bondurant has shown time and again that they are disorganized and do not pay attention to detail. My lease was sent to me a month late, despite me sending in all qualifications a month earlier than required. I contacted bondurant multiple times to inquire about the lease, and the response was always, “summer is a busy time for us.” Bondurant has been in the area for long enough to know that summer is inevitably going to be busy due to students. So, why do they not prepare for this? I also was supposed to have an inspection about a month ago. I assumed the inspection had been completed, because no one had contacted me otherwise. Today, I got a message saying that the deadline was almost up for the inspection, and they needed to come today. They had forgotten to come to my unit on the day that was scheduled. I have also encountered issues with them losing records of my paystubs, which delayed my renewal. There is always a “mix up”, or “we are so busy that your lease will be sent to you late,” excuse. In my opinion, a company that is responsible for people’s living situations should be highly organized and on top of deadlines. I have not had a good experience, and would not recommend bondurant as a company. Also, Melinda and Erica have never been kind when speaking to them. They always have a tone that gives the impression of annoyance when speaking to me. To reiterate, I rarely call them (only for a few maintenance things), I pay on time, and am a quiet and clean tenant. Also, I would have to call less often if things were done correctly and on time! So why is there always a problem?

Fantastic experience: Me and my famy lived in a home that we rented for 2 years here and it has been a great experience. Any time I have needed something fixed they where super helpful and normally where able to help that or the next day. Safe is super friendly and great with communication

Negative experience: Poorly run and never came for any repairs during my son’s 1 year lease. Things were broken the whole time including a bedroom window that wouldn’t even close. Upon move out they charged almost $1400 for repairs that should have been fixed during the lease term. I can understand a cleaning fee and minor stuff but charging for normal wear and tear items along with unfinished work orders is unacceptable! Renters BEWARE of the scam.

Fantastic experience: Julie was awesome! Me and my daughter had the best experience looking at apartments and choosing one with Julie. She was the best. There was never a time that we could not get ahold of her or that she didn't meet us at the exact time that she said that she would be at one of the apartments that we were looking at. She was honest and easy to talk to. The other girls in the office were great too. They were so kind and took time with us to explain things. How many times do we walk into a business anymore and people don't act like they want to work with us? Not here, every single person sitting in the office talked and you felt taken care of. The day of move in Julie was mopping the floors when we got there. She went the extra mile. She was so responsive to all emails and calls. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic apartment complex with Radford’s best leasing agents. Always super responsive, polite, and makes sure they go above and beyond for there residents. Would suggest leasing with them to all students and families looking for a leasing agency that cares.

Fantastic experience: I’ve lived in a Bondurant property for two years now and I love it! They are always super polite and helpful- the few issues have I have experienced, were fixed in 24 hours or less.

Negative experience: Stay far away. My daughter rented a property with this company and moved in and the state of the rental was rather poor. Prior to moving out, she spent hours cleaning the property and ensuring it was clean. However, she received only $50 back on her security deposit due to small cleaning fees and nitpicking an already filthy apartment. When calling to inquire about this issue, the phone receptionist stated my daughter had “an attitude”. Make it clear, Bondurant is a predatory operation that takes pride in taking advantage of college students.

Fantastic experience: Over the span of 5 years I have rented with multiple different companies, but Bondurant is definitely the best one by far. Their prices are very reasonable considering it is a college town, the apartments are consistently in great condition, the staff is so helpful/communicative, and the locations of their properties are unbeatable. They made the application, leasing, living and move out process extremely easy and enjoyable. Thank you to the leasing and maintenance team!

Negative experience: As I'm reading the previous reviews and see that this company already has less than a three-star rating, I wish we had done our due diligence and researched them more before my daughter signed a lease with this company. Bondurant realty made a mistake with the end date on my daughter's lease. Multiple times on page 1 of her lease they stated that her end date was June 8, 2024. So, my daughter pulled out enough in student loans to pay through June. Now, however, she's in a tough predicament, because later in the lease it actually does state July. While I recognize that the true contract should have been July, and perhaps she should have read more closely, the simple fact is that the company itself made a mistake. I'm aware we have no legal standing for this but one would expect that a business would own up to their mistake and do what they can to rectify the harm done. The person I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude. The company is only concerned with their bottom line, because what can anyone do about it? They have a monopoly in the area and charge kids $3000 per month for an old, busted house with crumbling stairs, central air that barely works, and doors that don't even shut. They are taking advantage of young college kids because they can. Nice job, Bondurant.

Fantastic experience: On the day of move-in, maintenance, Erica, Julie, and Melinda were so helpful! They always answer my emails with any questions I have. I plan to stay with Bondurant next year as well! Thank you for all you do!

Negative experience: I went over 48 hours without a working shower over the course of 3 weeks I put in maintenance request for it because it was barely functional.

Negative experience: Half the power is out in my house and they refuse to do anything about it

Fantastic experience: The ladies at Bondurant are always so helpful and care so much about the residents! Erica, Julie and Melinda are also wonderful and are there to provide any information and help they can. I have never rented anywhere except bondurant Radford and I won’t go anywhere else! Another shoutout would have to be Steve Seale! Best maintenance man ever! Worked in a timely manner and left everything clean and fixed! You’re awesome Steve!

Negative experience: This company does not care for tenants at all. My lease has not even started yet and I have had nothing but problems. I was not sent an informational welcome packet until Monday night, and am expected to move in on Thursday. They require an appointment to pick up the keys but they do not answer the phones. This has been a horrible experience and I would warn anyone to stay away from this place.

Fantastic experience: Julie and Will were incredibly understanding and accommodating to my disability. I am a disabled Veteran and they have made sure I was well taken care of. We love renting from them.

Fantastic experience: I have lived in Bondurant Realty Corporation for about three years now. My roommate and I went to the office to get the keys to our first apartment. When we got there, we noticed glass everywhere in the living, bedrooms, and bathrooms. I called immediately because my concert is our beautiful yellow lab would step on it. The maintenance came and cleaned up quickly and fixed the lightbulb. I live in a lovely neighborhood. Some are not students, and some are students. If I have problems with the apartment, they fix it right away. Overall everyone is so friendly and concerned about our baby and us.

Fantastic experience: So far I've had wonderful experience with Bondurant realty. From day one Julie was quite helpful and helped me in choosing the right apartment for my needs. I also think Bondurant has a large range of apartments so that way students can choose what they feel is best suited for them. Lastly, Bondurant family has been operating in Radford for over 70 years. The auditorium of Radford University is named after their family. That to me shows trust, experience and skill. If they can carry on a family business for 70 years then that means they are doing something right and so I urge everyone to try their services once and make their own judgement.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Bondurant Realty has been pretty great so far! I have been renting from them for awhile, and I would say they're the best option when looking for rental units in the Radford City area. The units are maintained well, much better than some of the other leasing agencies in the area. They're a great option for student housing that is budget-friendly for full-time students, while also being well-kept. I also had a great experience when considering them as an option for renting. Even though it was in the midst of the beginning of the COVID pandemic, I still received fast responses and kind service. I wasn't able to tour, due to COVID precautions, but was sent pre-recorded video tours of EACH unit I was interested in. They were super friendly and professional with this, whereas other agencies did not deliver the same accommodations. Definitely recommend for full-time students!

Negative experience: STAY AWAY!!!! I had the worst experience ever with them and I have been renting for years. They will charge you for last tenant damages even when you filled out the form with what is wrong with the place before you move in. What is the point of filling out that form when they will just charge you with the damage? They will nickle and dime you when you move out. They will charge you with everything they can think of. They tried to charge us for new carpet because they said we damaged the carpet but I had stated in the move in form that carpet was dirty and had stains in all rooms. They took us to court for it but since I had filled out that form we were not responsible for the carpet damage. If I had not stuck up for myself and disputed it I would of been charged for new carpet. My best advice is to stay far away from this place and don't ever rent from them. I also want to point out they are very rude and don't waste your time and money with them. I wish I could give zero stars.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with the owners of Bondurant Realty Corporation for many years. They run a first-class operation. In my capacity as a local attorney, I occasionally receive calls from disgruntled student tenants who are unhappy with their landlords in Radford. In 15 years, I have *never* received such a call from a Bondurant tenant. I would highly recommend them to prospective tenants.

Fantastic experience: I have both rented from BRC in the past and worked with them for a number of years, far longer than the typical student rents from anyone. It is a professionally run company, with excellent people. They are competitively priced and are responsive to service calls. I can highly recommend them without hesitation.

Negative experience: Lowest rated realty company in radford for a reason. Their properties always need work and maintenance takes way longer then it should. Every year they keep increasing their rent costs and and their fees are steep too. Also overcharge tenants for cleaning so they can give you the least amount possible back for your security deposit. Office wouldn't even answer the phone half the time either.

Negative experience: STAY FAR AWAY FROM BONDURANT IF POSSIBLE. they’re nice until you sign a lease, then they couldn’t care less about you and and treat you like an utter pain in their side, i would never under any circumstances recommend Bondurant realty in Radford. I could ramble for pages about the scam artist tactics and shameful practices of Bondurant but it seems a few other reviews have encapsulated exactly what i feel like. read around, check the Better Business Bureau reviews, and do yourself a favor and stick with price williams or anyone else for that matter. You’ve been warned!

Fantastic experience: Bondurant found a quick solution and resolved it promptly for our rental. We were pleased and reassured to know that when an update is needed or something needs fixed in the rental, that it will be taken care of! This is a college rental and it is reassuring, as a parent, to know that my child is going to be taken care of just the same as any other renter. The maintenance staff is friendly and quick to respond and our realtor, Laken, is always willing to be of assistance as well.

Fantastic experience: Renting from Bondurant Realty has been great. I rented a property in Radford that was a great place to call “home” for almost three years. The Bondurant Realty team was friendly and helpful. They promptly addressed anything that was needed for my property with courtesy and with a skilled, efficient maintenance staff. The area around my townhouse and the apartments adjacent, managed by Bondurant Realty, were clean and well maintained. I always felt safe when taking my daily walk and the grounds and properties were always groomed and welcoming. Fantastic experience: I have rented from Bondurant Realty since 2016 and my experience with the office staff and maintenance team has been nothing but positive. Don’t be fooled by these 1 stars and their comments. I am sure that majority of Bondurant tenets would give 4 or 5 stars if they took the time to give some feedback. If you don’t believe me, give them a shout and take a look at one of their properties.! Proof is in the pudding people!

Negative experience: Worse retailers in Radford. They don’t care about their tenets. We had to make multiple calls to have someone come fix our circuit breaker. They have yet to fix the other things wrong with the apartment (i.e. broken closet door, missing patio screen, etc.) but does not hesitate to expect rent in full a week before the first of the month. They were unwilling to work with college students during a pandemic. They are making us leave late June and still want July rent. The management (Erica) has a constant attitude and she make the business look bad. Consider this a warning DO NOT RENT WITH THEM!!!!! Why isn’t there a 0 star option but 1 star is too generous

Negative experience: My current lease ends may 10th, they are charging my roomates and I for half of our monthly payment for those 10 days. Therefore, we are paying them for a extra week that we will not be in the house. This is after they charged me 300$ for proof of renters insurance when it is a REQUIREMENT to have before you move into their units. So I got fined because they couldn’t keep a copy on hand. Ruined my last year at Radford for sure.

Negative experience: Don't expect to get your deposit back, when you move out they will not call or tell you anything. They'll send a bill 3 months after their walk through and not say anything. Don't get your expectations to high with them either, very nice at first then after a few months of moving in it goes down hill from there. 0 stars. Stay away at all cost.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. The staff is not only rude but entirely unprofessional. I have to call them from someone else’s phone if I need something because they no longer answer when I call from my phone number. The apartments might look decent (or not) but I promise they all have a million things wrong with them. For example, ours had no heat the first time we went to turn it on and we called to get it fixed and had a 50 degree apartment for 2 weeks, our showers all clogged, our toilets leaked, every single bifold door broke, and we had screens missing. I literally don’t have a single positive thing to say. Also don’t expect your security deposit back even if everything is in better condition than when you moved in .

Negative experience: They make excuses to take all your money even if they had previous problems in the house. You have to fight them to fix even the most basic things in the house.

Negative experience: THIS IS YOUR WARNING TO STAY AWAY!!!!!! If I could give them less than 1 star, I would. Talk about the WORST realtor company on Earth. They charge you for things that couldn’t be remotely true, they don’t fix any issues you report, their maintenance men come in whenever they please and have NO respect (leaving muddy boot prints everywhere and coming in when you’re naked), they have NO respect for clients once you sign that lease. Up until the day your sign the lease they are so nice and respectful but once they have you locked in, they’ll screw you. Their apartments may seem nice at first, but the longer you’re there, you’ll notice how DISGUSTING and INADEQUATE they are!! STAY AWAY!

Negative experience: This place allows tenants from apartment 670 to feed feral cats by the dumpster as well as letting tenants own multiple animals both indoors and out doors and move new tenants in apartment 666 with a large dog over 25 pounds while they displace other tenants with dogs over 25 pounds or others will multiple small dogs. This is a double standard.

Fantastic experience: Easy to deal with and always very quick (typically next day) with work orders, very friendly staff, definitely best realty corporation to rent from in radford if you are a student

Negative experience: Just moved in October & already moving out. Staff is unreliable when it comes to fixing things and keeping documentation of it. Toilet has been broken ever since we moved in and have had someone look at it twice and it still broken ; just the water and sewer bill for one month is over $600. They refuse to pay it and now that we’re leaving are refusing to come look at the toilet again. Manager is unprofessional & aggressive.

Fantastic experience: This realty company moved mountains to get my house sold. They managed the property for 5 years and did an exceptional job! Always informing me of what needed to be done to keep the house in good order. I really wasnt sure I could get my house sold as quickly as I needed and Bill and his team were wonderful to find a perfect fir for the new owner. I will never forget my experience with you all and how good you are at what you do!
