Positive experience: It was a brand new build, but was definitely rushed. For example, we had to have a plumber visit the home very soon after we moved in because someone left a level in our plumbing system. The staff was never really welcoming, but got the job done. Being a military family, we have lived with lots of property management companies, they were not the worst but definitely not the best either. Make sure you are VERY thorough on your move in inspection because they are very picky. Also make sure you get your deposit money returned. We got permission to install a garage door opener in the garage (I know it was ridiculous one wasn’t there to begin with). We paid for the entire thing. We ended up leaving early due to my husband receiving deployment orders, and accidentally took a garage door remote with us (again one that I paid for) and they charged me $100 . Again they weren’t the worst, but I wouldn’t choose to live with them again.

Fantastic experience: Helpful, attentive, professional! Every interaction so far has been great. Fast and efficient in every dealing. We rented from McMullin for 3 years, and then used their services to purchase a house. We've already referred our friends and family, and will continue to do so without hesitation. Best. Company. EVER!

Negative experience: I cannot believe the disrespect these ladies in the front give out! How are they still employed!!? They have the worst attitudes. This company needs to look into hiring better personal. These ladies are a reflection of your company and they sure do leave a bad taste in everyone’s mouth! Also how dare them discriminate against anyone!! Anyone and everyone stand clear of this company!! You’ll regret doing business with them!!!

Fantastic experience: Rented from Mcmullin for 3 years. They always responded to any maintenance issues very quickly. They also have a great office staff that is always super friendly and helpful. I also like their rental portal which makes it easy to keep track of payments and maintenence issues.

Negative experience: Rent is too high for such a small property and my neighbors in the same complex are laying $300 less than me for the same apartment. They are not understanding of your situation all they care about is the rent is paid. The only good thing is the maintenance is quick to respond. The ladies that run the office are rude and don’t care about anything you have going on. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: The only rental company I used when I lived in Texas that was actually commendable. Rented for a few years from them because they were so good. Very military friendly. Rare to find a company that won't try to squeeze money from you over everything and they are honest and fair. Staff is also friendly. Recommended. Mr. Mcmullin is a good guy.

Negative experience: I submitted my application and NEVER got a response back. I called and a lady answered. Me: My name is ... calling to see if my application was received? Lady: Yes... Me: Is it possible to provide a status update? Lady: I am working on another application. (Huh??? )LOL -I was confused... (she never answered the question) Me: Normally, how long does it take the application process to be completed? (still no answer...) Lady: You applying for …. there is another application currently pending for that unit, were working on it now. (WOW) Me: okayyyy So, If that's not available, if approved I'd be able to get in another unit that is available, correct? Lady: There is only $1400 units available. Me: What you are saying doesn't match what is on your website. Lady: What do you see? (now I'm really confused...lol) Me: I see at least 10 units available and I am interested in 5 of them. I could take a one bedroom, its just me. Lady: Those maybe pending as well and they are in Copperas Cove. Me: That's fine, I work from home. ***(my thoughts were, why does it feel like I am on an interview, trying to prove I am qualified for the job!!!) Me again, politely: I'm curious as to why your company doesn't remove units that are not available? Lady: Oh we are not going to take them down! The applications may not get approved! (WOW...The unit I want is STILL AVAILABLE on the website) Me: Oh I'm sorry, didn't mean to upset you. I'm trying to conclude if I should continue my search. Lady: (crickets) Me: (changing the subject) I did have concerns on my background, that I recently disputed with another company and won in my favor, so its important for me to know if I'm approved? (Realizing the conversation is a waste of time....) Me: Thank you, have a good day. I never got any answers aside from Yes my application was received. They get one star for that. I have two questions... 1. How long does it takes for the application process? I'm still waiting. lol 2. What's wrong with the word "pending" on units that are currently under the application process?

Fantastic experience: Went to see Mr. McMullin here to fit his aids. It is a very nice place.

Negative experience: Front staff was very rude and didn't want to let my brother and I view a house because she assumed we didn't make enough money to afford it. Once we convinced them that the house was in our budget, we showed up to the poorly renovated house. Mismatched paint and terrible quality. I wouldn't recommend going to this place if you look young and are looking for a rental. Didn't catch the name of the rude woman but it was an older white lady.

Negative experience: Never rent from these guys. They take advantage of solders and loose paperwork.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been renting a property for over two years now, and they are fantastic! The last company we rented from ran us out because the structure was literally falling apart. DMP didn’t even hesitate to get us into a home even after the long battle with the last company. The ladies in the office are wonderful and so is the maintenance man. Any time I’ve had a maintenance issue, someone has came to our rescue the same day or the following. They do a quarterly inspection and never had a single issue. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Negative experience: It's a roof over my head, but I feel like property management could be a lot better. I called the after hours number only to get hung up on and ignored. It took all of the tenants calling the after hour number for someone to finally answer, and then do absolutely nothing about the issue. My oven doesnt work, and theres a bug issue they refuse to handle like the said they would. But I could be homeless, so I guess.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been renting a 3 bedroom house for a year now. Great tenant support! They are always very prompt when an issue arises. The maintenance man is a diligent worker, and will always try his best to fix any problems. Rent is very good here compared to Killeen places.

Fantastic experience: I have been renting from Donlie McMullin Since 2009. They have always responded to work order requests. Which got even better when they set it up online. They have always answered any questions I had. When done properly I got reimbursed in a timely manner for any repairs that I did to the property. I have been very pleased being a tenant in all 3 different locations that I have rented from them. If I happen to be living in there area again in the future they will be the first people I call.

Negative experience: I don't even rent from them but because I stay at a property next door to them they had a water break due to freezing temperatures and they tried to blame the other tenants for their water break when actually the place that had the water break hasn't had the lines redone in 25 years.. I know because I used to live there before Donlie McMullin took over the property management. And even though he's buying up all the properties around town don't rent from this person from this company theyre slime balls

Negative experience: If you are looking for a place to rent do not rent from here. I've made the mistake and rented from them twice. And both times that I have rented from them the duplex was not moved in ready. Things were broke and dirty. I had to fix what the last renter left broken and or cleaned what they didnt. And now my security deposit is being held and not given back.

Negative experience: This company does not have the clients best interest at heart, the employees that work under the home rentals department are totally unprofessional and rude. The lady I have had to deal with "Sandra" confirmed all I wanted to hear when discussing the contract. However when she finally rented out my house she rented it with disregard to my stipulations. Every month I have to call or e-mail several times to get copies my invoices and even payment is not submitted to me in a timely manner. She lies about everything, and I even asked to speak to the owner for a few days and even he has failed to return my calls. I have a few months left on this contract unfortunately! But I highly advise you not to rent your home out through this company. Your better of renting it out on your owen. I could go on and on about the issues I face with this company.

Negative experience: My family was pretty much screwed over. They tried to extend the closing out over the period of MONTHS and were very rude when the closing didn't happen. They gave poor advice and did not have the clients' best interest at heart.
