Fantastic experience: My husband and I had the extreme pleasure of meeting and working with J Martin Orlando aka Marty after I did a Google search looking for 55+ homes. We were originally looking for new construction in New Jersey, because we lived in South Jersey, but my Google search led me to multiple developments in Delaware. Both my husband and I filled out a short Lennar questionnaire and Marty immediately reached out to the both of us. We set up an appointment to meet with Marty to tour Noble’s Pond and Auburn Meadows; two 55+ communities. Marty spent many hours with us to tour the models in both communities. He was patient, kind, hospitable, very knowledgeable, and he went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and that all of our questions were answered. We met with Marty again to tour Auburn Meadows a second time. After many hours of looking at the available short sale homes, we decided to put an offer on a home in Auburn Meadows. Fantastic experience: Marty worked with my husband and myself over a year and a half. On a quickie trip one weekend we fell in love with what was an unknown to us-Delaware beaches, A quick call that weekend to a few realtors brought us to the most accommodating one-that being Marty Orlando. We were from out of state and were able to easily coordinate with Marty when we had some free time and decided to take a road trip - he always made himself available-even showing us 11+ homes in a day. Home shopping was quite difficult at the beginning because homes in Lewes DE would be snatched up minutes to hours after posted and of course we couldn’t quite make it down to Lewes that quickly from 3 hours away. This summer we finally were able to find that home- and Marty gave us the greatest advice to be able to be the most appealing buyer. Despite two other offers, our offer was most attractive to the seller thanks to Marty’s guidance-and accepted one day after making an offer and just closed on it today!
