Negative experience: This complaint is about cedar Creek apartment complex in Hermitage Tennessee I signed up for application and the lady who I spoke with told me that they had an apartment available and that it would be really on the 15th after I gave them my $75 application fee I didn't hear from them again then all of a sudden I started getting emails and text messages from these strangers I don't know who they were but please be careful because they are out here taking people's application money and running with it once they get your money you don't hear from them again this was $75 I paid and this happened to me a couple of months ago where they told me to bring them with money order they need to give me my money back and I'm not playing I'm going to take him to court get my money back these people they ripping the company off they all the way in California and the people here in Tennessee is ripping us off the people they trust to run their business they are ripping people off going to cause that company a lawsuit about my money

Negative experience: Photos speak for themselves. Rented the Huckleberry House March 2026 for a simple 2 night stay after flying in to visit with family. Filthy conditions & very visible mold. Not sure if the owners just don’t care or if they never stop by to see the condition in which the house is being allowed to be rented out in. Went to the realty company in person to discuss since it’s 5 min from the cabin. Basically told well did you call the emergency number? You have to call them. So basically told that is not my job and I’m not dealing with it so call the number and try to get help that way. Was refunded the cleaning fee but feel I should’ve been refunded more because we had to go out into town to eat every meal because of cleanliness and poor state of cookware. Again those are in the photos as well. The photo of my daughter’s foot after just 30 min of arriving.

Fantastic experience: We have rented homes through Cedar Creek Realty for years. They are a top-notch rental group, and we are grateful for their friendly, helpful staff and detail-oriented procedures. The homes we have stayed in are always accurately advertised and well-appointed. We trust them entirely, and we plan to use Cedar Creek for all future trips to this beautiful area. ++

They are very responsive, and they are super focused on the details and small things that really make a difference when someone is staying at a place for just a few days. And they know everyone in town, so if you need a good reference for pretty much anything, they’ll send you to someone who is great! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

It's very cozy and had everything we needed. The cabin is charming, and equipped with all the comforts of home. It's tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious living area was the hub for our family gatherings, where we spent evenings playing board games, sharing laughter, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. The cabin's kitchen had all the essential tools and utensils, making it easy for us to bond over cooking and enjoying homemade feasts. The kitchen had everything that allowed us to whip up delicious meals together. The location was perfect for nature lovers like us. The nearby trails offered breathtaking views and a variety of hiking options suitable for all skill levels. We spent time exploring the beautiful surroundings in nature, and appreciating the tranquility that the mountains had to offer. The morning and evenings we cozied up by the fireplace, sharing stories. The cabin's ambiance provided the perfect place for relaxation, allowing us to unwind and connect as a family. The attention to detail by the cabin's owners has many amenities to the cozy furnishings, it was evident that they had gone the extra mile to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for their guests. If you're looking for a serene and welcoming retreat for your family, this mountain cabin is an absolute gem. We can't wait to go back to this special place.

Fantastic experience: Great place to spend the days in mountains .Close to bear valley mountain resort. My entire family with kids loved this location and house.

Fantastic experience: We rented the Blissful Pines cabin in Arnold for Thanksgiving. Everything was great. Communication with Cedar Creek was excellent and they accommodated an early check in and late check out. Super smooth. The cabin was super clean, very comfortable, with enough room for two families, plus grandma. Kitchen was very well equipped, we prepared the whole Thanksgiving dinner there. Loved the ping pong table in the garage and since there was a some snow, we also used the sleds provided. Plenty of parking. Cozy. Warm. Will definitely come back.

Fantastic experience: We've rented from Cedar Realty several times over the years. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. We have had minor issues with previous rentals that have been resolved quickly. We'll be back for sure!

Fantastic experience: A wonderful spacious ,yet homey cabin. Plenty of room and beds and a fun game room with a ping pong table! Loved having breakfast out on the beautiful deck.

Negative experience: We rented a house from this company over the weekend and were horrified to discover rodent feces throughout the house. The house had clearly not been cleaned for several weeks. We contacted the property manager and they were very evasive about the situation stating that many rodents had moved into houses due to the rain and cold. They claimed they had no idea the property had a rodent infestation and had never had a problem before. They tried to blame us, stating, that if we had contacted them earlier they would have moved us to another property. We arrived late at night with kids and do not routinely inspect our lodgings for rodent infestations upon arrival. They offered 1/2 refund for our stay as compensation. Extremely disappointing for a property charging over $1000 per night with a $200 cleaning fee.

Fantastic experience: Cedar Creek Realty managed a vacation home we rented. They were responsive, professional and kind under difficult circumstances. I would hire them to manage my property, if I had one in the area.

Positive experience: Above it all !!! Good accomodations and big house for a big group. 2draw backs. TV doesn't have cable. Netflix and YouTube connection is available. Major problem is that the home doesn't have any AC. There are no fans in any of the bedrooms. House fan vents don't work at all. Downstairs vents at least work. Upstairs vents don't work. We stayed here when the temperatures were in 100°.Had a really hard time falling sleep.Only saving grace was the propertyanagement provided us with fans for all rooms.

Negative experience: I booked a home in Arnold for our family vacation and a month later, I receive an e-mail stating that "due to unforeseen circumstances" the booking is cancelled. Cedar Creek referred us to a new home which was way further than what we wanted. When I decided not to take the referral home, they begged me to give them a chance to find another home, claiming that they were "onboarding" about 100 homes. The lady promised to make my reservation a priority and would get back to me. I waited a month with no communication, all the while stressing about our family vacation. In the meantime, they charged my credit card for a deposit to a home that I did not sign an agreement for. They should have automatically refunded our deposit fees but, after waiting a month for the so-called promised rental, I had to request the deposit back. Another kicker...they only do refunds once a month! What a fiasco...the ladies there do not know what the other is doing!

Negative experience: We rented from this agency several times and it has always been a similar cluster each time. This time we rented a property which turned out to be double booked which they informed us about a week before we were heading there. They switched us to another property after dealing with a ton of logistical nightmares and rudeness of the staff. Very unaccommodating staff. Would not recommend their services!

Negative experience: Where to begin.. the map they give you to get to the cabin is so fuzzy you have to shruggle to read it. The house was dirty. I was shocked to see how dirty this house was. I had to call the business because there was poop on the bathroom wall. They sent someone to clean it, just the poop. There was mildew on the shower walls. One of the blankets had blood on it. The deck and outer area of the cabin were not clean whatsoever. Leafs and pine needles everywhere. The deck flooded because the pine needles wouldn't allow the water to flow off. I got the pleasure to clean the deck while it was raining. My dad had to fix one of the gutters because it was leaking so bad in the walk way. The pool table needed to be fixed the balls kept getting stuck. The dart board had 0 darts. My dad decided the cabin needed to be cleaned and started vacuuming, vacuuming everywhere. The only positive side to renting this cabin was the location. It's by the water.
