At Signature Properties, we have been dedicated to serving our community since our inception in 2011. Starting small in downtown Kingsport with just eight agents, we set out to give back to the area in tangible and monetary ways. That’s why we pledge a portion of every commission earned to local charities at no additional cost to our clients. Our company has expanded to include a second location in Johnson City and has grown to include more than 30 agents.
We also expanded our services to include property management, making us one of the region's few full-service real estate companies. We have been honored to donate to over 500 charities, including Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Salvation Army.

Negative experience: We now have a new rental agent. That would have been nice to know, in writing, on paper, in advance... who holds my lease? Company name. Have automatic payments been transferred? I hope you overcome your difficulties, I liked your company prior to all this BS.
Negative experience: Beware landlord’s/owners; have not received a statement since Dec 2023. Unorganized & miscommunication- Tenants call me due to no one returning phone calls or messages for repairs.
Thank you for your feedback. Please note that the property management agreement was terminated by our team, with the last day of service being September 16th. There were constant communications from us with tenants due to legality issues of tenant-landlord rights imposed by the owner, which regrettably led to law enforcement involvement on one occasion.
Starting in January 2024, we transitioned to a new system where owners can review statements conveniently through our online portal, eliminating the need for mailed statements. Owners were encouraged to view them here, where they were readily available.

Phone calls are welcomed, returned promptly, your questions will be entertained and answered to your satisfaction. These individuals are fully in the process with you regardless of how arduous it may seem. We began a home buying endeavor in September and closed in October, we felt completely at ease with the transaction because he knew Shirley Warren had our backs. She has continue to reach out and has made her self availabe for questions about the area, etc. We found a fabulous company in Signature Properties, aquired a home and embraced a friendship. THE best!
Negative experience: I was given incorrect information about a rental property and had my time and gas wasted. They were polite, but in this time with prices of everything soaring, wasting valuable resources because they couldn't be bothered to have the correct information is ridiculous.

Me and my husband are so greatful we found signature properties, and very blessed to of had Luke Coffey as our realtor!!! He worked long hours to make sure everything was up to par and answered any and all of the questions we had. A very commical guy too, with a heart of gold...
